How to Rip SFX From Videos

Well Here What Got To Do


Okay first
if you hear a sfx from a video that you like and no one talking
just get any sound recording program and record with stereo mix

(YouTube - Record / Capture Audio Any Music Video - No Programs Needed)


Random Man : This is stupid I'm trying to get this sfx but this dumb Mofo
is talking while I'm trying to record it.


Well
I think I can fix that


If there a character talking with the sfx you want
here what i suggest you do

(WARNING THIS PROCESS MAYBE VERY DIFFICULT OR TIDESES TO OTHERS)


Step 1
Get a program called " Any Video Converter" Its free
and
Audacity

Step 2
Get the Video that you want to rip SFX from

Step 3
Put your video in the converter and make it a MP3

Step 4
Then Transfer the MP3 to Audacity

Step 5
You got to split the Mp3 and Invert one of the sound and change both
sounds to MONO


(YouTube - Remove Vocals from Mp3s using audacity (Win/Mac/Linux) Free)



Now after all that
you might here a little mumble on some of the audio
but that okay

now you scan around the audio and try to find your Sfx

and that all to it

I have a quick question... If I want the background music from an animated clip that I am dubbing.. can it be extracted minus the original voices? Is it possible? Especially in the case of some series that have come out just recently and I can't find the exact background music for? :-?

It could, but it would be rather watery/metallic sounding if you used similar method to what's above. It's usually better to either wait till the music is out or just find something else that you think works.
