Woot Ocarina of Time.

Ok I thought everyone fit their voices quite well but there is one thing you should definately consider for the future episodes. Try slowing down the dialogue, it might look slightly awkward but it's much better than having all the actors rush their lines and give a rather subpar performance (slurring words and rushed speech was all over the place here).

Try to give them as much time as Aussieroth had at the beginnning at least (well maybe not that much time because the Deku tree talks slow) but you get the idea.

I look forward to part 2!

Good job, team! lol My only critique is to be mindful of the audio levels. And yeah, pacing the dialogue will help too. Man, Bree makes an awesome Saria! Everyone did well voicing! =D

Great voice acting from everyone involved (yay P-Chan and Aussieroth!). But I feel that the video should've been slowed down so that lines could be delivered or placed at a more natural speed. But this is a great fandub in every other aspect so far. I look forward to part 2! Kudos on such great mixing for a first time Vanity. I hope I can do as well with my first.

Thanks so much everyone! :hug
I agree, I will work on the speedy dialogue boxes and some volume issues for part 2!

I can't wait for the second episode!

As previously stated, the audio levels are a bit off. I could barely hear the cast's lines, even with headphones. Try turning the music and sound effects down a bit. They were a bit loud. And if possible, slow down the text boxes, so that the cast may clearly speak their lines without them being out of time.

I pretty much repeated everything already said, so good job, and I can't wait to hear more. :sweat

Being a big fan of the Legend of Zelda series, and this game in particular; I have to say I am impressed. The casting was excellent and everyone sounds exactly as I envisoned them to when I was playing through the game. Aussieroth as the Great Deku Tree sounded EXACTLY how I imagined the character would sound. The same goes for Bree as Saria, and P-chan as Navi. The extra Kokiri sound equally good (Bree and Michihari). I was also very happy with your choice of Simbaga for young Link. Even though Link has no actual spoken dialouge, the voice fit very well. I have only two minor complaints. Mixing overall was quite excellent, however, Bree's levels were a bit low. My other complaint was with the pacing with the dialouge. I'd have to agree with Hyperknees here. I'd be nice if you could find some source video where they don't speed through the dialouge so quickly, or record a playthrough yourself or get someone to do it for you. That way your actors don't have to rush the dialouge so much, and you get MUCH better reads from them.

It was good, but, like most other said, the lines were too fast. It would be even better if it were slowed down. I think everyone did a wonderful job, it's just that the voices you had in mind were different than the voices I had in mind for the characters. But everyone did a great job on their characters and this was mixed well~! ^_^ can't wait for part 2!

HIKE! HO! HUP! GRAAAH!!! D8<

Well, THIS was an awesome surprise when I got online! :D Mad props to the cast and to Vanity for getting this done so quickly! You guys are awesome!

This cast totally exceeded my expectations, if such a thing were possible. You achieved something that is extremely rare in amateur voice acting, where you are not able to see or talk to each other while recording-- even with five completely different VAs, this dub has serious style.

Saria (omg. YOUR ENERGY WAS AMAZING.), Navi (freaking adorable!!), and the Kokiri extras in particular totally captured the energy of the Kokiri forest scene, and actually made it feel like an experience rather than a mash-up of totally different dub lines.

And, of course, Aussieroth really needs no introduction. The first line gave me chills-- you have such an absolutely classic voice, and totally nailed the atmosphere of that scene.

Overall, just gorgeous, and an amazing first mixing job for Vanity! I only wish I had recorded more rolling screams. ;_;

Wooww! I must say everyone did a fantastic job in this first clip.

Omg Aussieroth you were perfect for the Deku Part, loved that old wise man voice you were pulling off there <3.

Simbaga you were PERFECT for link *exactly sounded like the one from the original which I like <3*

P-chan you sounded soo adorable for Navi, can't think of anyone else who could've done it! =) *really I couldn't xD*

Bree even though I thought Saria and the extra sounded a BIT similar...I still loved your energy and the delivery of your lines! =) very nice! <3

As for me...this was really the first fandub I've ever been in *well that's finally a finished fandub* so yeah...I thought I kind of stuck out as a sore thumb to the rest of the Kokiri kids, but I'm was proud to work with such amazing voice actors in this scene. A great experience, I really did enjoy it! n_n

Vanity...I wont repeat what other people have already said 'cause it would sound like a broken record to you. xD But I still think you did an overall good job with the mixing even if the dialouge sounded too fast. And thank you for casting myself and the others in this episode. Truly was a great experience! =)

WOOT! Yeah Really good Props to P-Chan, Bree and Simbaga and everyone else.

It was said before but yes maybe slow down the lines and clicking and so its not like hey LinkOmg a Fairy

Also audio pitches so its all the same level and stuff. But that was said before too.

But yes it was great! Great Job Team :D

Also BTW at the end when you get the sword was that Simbaga or the real dub since I was like WOW That sounded just like it !

I'm about 70% sure that's not me. I sent in an awful lot of grunts, though, so it very well could be. XD

And thank you all so much for your compliments-- I'm so happy to be on board! <3

Ha you guys have good ears! No, you're right it's not Simbaga. That particular clip was difficult to mix, especially since I lacked a few sound effects, so I just left it the way it was. I'll be doing the same thing with those particular scenes from now on.

Is it just me, or should it be Navi telling you what is found in treasure chests? That's how I always pictured it. That way, you don't have to read the screen whenever you find a new key item... And it gives the voice actress for Navi some more lines here and there. It seemed awkward to have no voice on it for this part... Just a suggestion for your future parts.

Ah much better, good job it's much more polished now.

Mido- A fitting and annoying voice. Though watch out as your diction wasn't so great here and it wasn't easy to understand what your character was saying half the time.

Great deku tree- Also a good voice, though his dialogue flow at times I felt wasn't as good as it could've been (he spoke slightly too slowly) and he could use a little more emphasis but overall I liked how he was portrayed.

Great job everyone, I look forward to episode 2.

Wow, what an improvement! =D Really nice job on the mixing, Vanity-- this one sounded awesome, I'm really impressed!

Mad props to Mike for the awesome one-liner-- I love your voice, and can definitely see how you scored the part of Ruto! I'm really excited to hear more from you!

I'm running the audio in the background as I type, and I'm still giggling at OmegaOptimusSupreme's Mido. XDDD Freaking hilarious and totally inventive interpretation of the character, you rocked it!

By the way, do you want me to send you more rolling yells for the next episode? The one I've got now is getting on my nerves. XDDD

I've already started mixing Episode 2, and casting for the extras has already started.
Once again, thanks to the cast for their wonderful job!

I liked all VAs very much. Congratulation to the fantastic mixing. The only lil critique might be the one about the dialogue pace but when i got used to it, it was okay.
I especially like the voice of Link. Choosing him was a good decision what makes this really close to the original.

Episode 2 was much better! I'm glad you were able to adress the pacing issues. Mixing was still good, though Aussieroth seemed a little bit low in this clip. The ending credits were very nicely done as well.
Shopkeeper: Mike-Sempai: Sounded good and fit the character. I'd try to add a bit more personality to the character. The Kokiri are child-like elven beings with alot of energy and a sense of wonder about them. The line delivery seemed a bit flat to me. The shopkeeper is bouncing up and down at the counter! Bring that energy to him! =)
Mido: OmegaOptimusSupreme : Mido sounded annoying and bratish as he should, but this wasn't quite what I expected. Came out pretty well.
Link: Simbaga: Glad to hear you in this clip =D. You sounded great and fit the part excellently, but mic quality could've been a bit better.

I look foward to seeing more of this! Keep it up guys! =)

^ I actually totally forgot he was jumping I just remember this one shop keeper who was fat and lazy and not to much movement so I thought the Kokiri one was the same. Looks like I was wrong :P Oh well if he turns again I'll do better

Everyone did amazing jobs! Omega, you had me laughing hysterically with Mido. Keep up the good work everyone XD

And thanks for any compliments on my Saria voice XD I felt that I made her a bit too hyper sounding, but I'm glad the energy seemed good =D
