I don't want you to sound like the character very much, but it's a good starting point and it'll help with the acting Does this mean you *don't* want a voice that sounds like the original or you don't *need* to have a voice that sounds like the original... 'cause I took the same sort of approach as his seiyuu in recording my lines.

I don't *need* it. If you can do something similar good for you :D But I can imagine that his voice would be hard to pull off, and I don't want anyone to strain themselves. I'm more partial to judge on acting ability rather than how much you sound like the character :)

I usually keep everyone's auditions now :D I have a few more clips planned after this one (mostly concerning Jiraiya) so I'll be needing extras anyway ^.^ Which is why I asked, so if you've got a demo or something, I'll keep thee in mind ^-^
