EDIT: Here is a newly and mostly redone version of my animation demo with my newer mic!
Note: (Since I have a new website,I've decided to share both of my Animation and Commercial demo from my site. Since I cannot give you the direct link to the demos,they will be located on the reels page at:

I really liked your voice... The parts I could hear, that is.
Your third voice sounded really awesome, but the only thing I could hear was "Are you..." somewhere near the end. ...I think. Way too many effects on that one, no doubt. Same thing with the sixth voice. I think I heard "It's time for you to get...", but nothing more than that. The seventh voice, again, was dragged down by too many effects. Only after listening to it three times could I start making out what it was you said. Something like "Initiating lockdown. Annihilation sequence has now been activated.", right?
Your other voices were good, the only one that sounded a little awkward were the "You should know something about it" voice. It just didn't sound very believable. You didn't show off the world's most varied range, but you certainly showed a good range, that's for sure. The accents, especially the transylvanian/vamprie one right at the start, were really pimpin'!
Good job, overall, but you should tone down the sfx and effects a bit for you next reel! ;3

Hey, this was really good! :D I've always been a fan of your range.
I really liked the intensity you put in some of your voices. Your first and ninth voices were really impressive, and your eighth voice made me LOL. A lot. XD
I do think, however, that you overdid it with the "echo" effect in some of your voices. Especially the third and sixth voices. Added effects are awesome, but you should make sure that people actually hear your voice in your demo reel. :sweat
But overall, great job! :)

Seems like you had alot of fun doing this demo reel (which is why it was so fun to watch).
Your accented voices gave me the chills and your serious voices really set the mood. Though like said before, the effects were a bit too wildly used. They should only be there to aid your voice, not necessarily to overpower the scene.
I think your normal voices were all very nice and I'm glad you showed a full range here (The little girl was just awesome). I would possibly like to hear some more high pitched voices from you since it seems you do it very well.
Elegant, fun, and a bit wild but definately a great demo reel.

Thank you all so much for your advice and critiques on this demo!^^
I may've put a tad bit too many sfx in some of these clips,so I tried to fix this demo a bit especially in the slightly inaudible parts. Hope this will be a little bit better in terms of audibility.^^;
Thank you all once again!:)

I like it, Fairy. My only qualm is that some of the audio peaks pretty bad and your voice gets lost in some of the effects. The effects are a cool idea and they do accent what you're doing, but I think you need to scale them back just a bit. It distorts your voice a little too much, and it doesn't help to show off how dynamic and fantastic your voice really is.
Totally dug the intro with your saying your name so it got into your head. I was going to do the same thing with my finished demo.
All in all, it's good. I think your amazing voice doesn't shine as brightly as it could because it gets hidden by the effects you used, but that's nothing that 10 minutes in Audacity or something won't fix.
You're gonna be a Star, Fairy. ^_^b

Hi, Danielle, it´s nice work you got on your reel. If you´re interested, I got this little animation proyect of 2 minutes. I am seeking an actress who has the capacity to interpret a teenage girl 14 or 15 years for a 3D animated short movie of 2 minutes.
You can send a demo of 20 to 30 seconds (any narration / role within that genre) to be part of the selection for the voice acting.
The character is this (now almost completed): http://activemotionpictures.com/online/xsi_toon_pami_112309_b.jpg
I could send you the specific script.
I will provide a copy of the short film and the promotion of the actress in the promoting material as payment.
Are you interested?
Greetings.
Atte.

Hawkeye_GGK: Thank you very much for your critique!:D
I'll do my best to get rid of any peaks in this demo and tweak it up some more,lowering the volume of the sfx before maybe sending this in to a few talent agencies.^^
SirDavid23: Hello there. Thank you for your comments!
Your project sounds pretty interesting. I'll definitely take a look into this. Thank you for considering me for this.^^

I know that might not mean alot from me

the only problem
that it was a bit loud and I was wearing headphones
lols
but I guess that my fault for raising up the volume lol

Have I ever told you how lovely your voice is? :rose
You showcase a great range here, branching out from that video demo you showed a while back and revealing some new voices (the Transylvanian/vampiric voice, the little girl) that weren't touched upon there. You got into each role quite well and nailed the emotion of most of the scenes. It shows that even though your natural voice is quite deep that you can take on most kinds of roles, from the most innocent and adorable to the sultry and outgoing. Or sound really, really evil. XD
There are two flaws here. Number one is over-distortion, it makes your voice hard to hear in spots. The other one is an overdose of SFX that is distracting and threatens to overpower the main attraction of this demo reel. It mars an otherwise close-to-flawless demo. The more stripped down voices (like the seventh voice or the little girl) tended to come off better than the ones that had loud SFX or a heavy amount of distortion.
And another thing, was that sixth voice of yours involve speaking in a foreign/fictional language (it was hard to tell because of the distortion/blaring alarm of DOOM)? I am unsure whether that is a good idea in a demo reel meant for English-speaking listeners.
But overall a great demo and I think it is an improvement on the video version.

This time around I'm not reviewing your demo from a critical POV. I'm doing it from how entertaining it is.
I really loved your intro. +5
Your vampire voice is both deadly and seductive. +5
A nice casual character here. Natural. +5
Your announcing voice is very engaging. Lines get a little lost. +4
I can imagine a cute little anime girl staring off dreamily here. +5
I like the change of attitude with the tough gal line. +4
The static overpowers the lines so it detracts from the performance. +3
The robotic voice is nice, but it should have less emotion. +4
This radio DJ voice is my favorite. It's very natural and confident. +5
This little boy's voice feels slightly out of place. +3
Nice mysterious witch-type voice. +4
The traditional sexy lady voice. Nice. +5
I like the Jamaican voice. Mysterious. +5
Nice creepy giggle. +5
I give it a 62/70.
Very entertaining throughout with minor issues. I really liked it a lot! Great job!

Time to make up for the major late reply.^^;
Gonax1234: Thank you very much. Your critique really does mean alot to me.
My apologies for the volume of my demo being kinda loud. I should lower the volume a bit more on this.^^;
Rebelcheese: Thank you for your awesome input! I'm really glad you enjoyed this demo.:D
I have to agree with you on the distortion that is in this demo. The effects may've been the reason on how the audio
may've came out a little funky nut I would like to thank you very much for pointing this out. I will definately do my best to fix up these
flaws in this demo since I haven't sent this out to an agents as of yet.
MrSnippy: Ooh! A point system. Thank you very much!
I'm very flattered by your honest critique.:)

Hello,
I am working on a new sims 2 series called "Ladies of Finesse" and I am looking for male and female voice actors. All the main characters are taken, but I have two female supporting character roles open for the first episode. Of course, as my series continues, other characters will be introduced as well so I'm going to have an open casting call indefinitely. I liked your voice and I think your voice would work good for one or more roles in my series. You can check out my youtube page to get a little more info on my series.

You can also contact me at my youtube page or at ms_tish82@hotmail.com if you are interested.

Intro give me goose bumpies! :D
This was a very nice listen! Your variety of voices really stick out here (and makes me realize how much you have been typecast), and the pacing and demo design is very impressive. If I might suggest, the majority of the demo sounded rather intense. I would suggest throwing in a few more humor lines to mix it up (That is more of a suggestion then a critique though). I thoroughly enjoy this one sis!

Great demo reel! Awesome use of accents and range etc =D
I wasn't sure about the use of effects on the voices. I mean they all sounded good but it's easier to judge someone's performance when there's less of those. However they weren't overly distracting. I might also have detected some minor peaking on some of the loud lines, so that's maybe something to watch out for.
Anyway as I say, great demo! *Loved* the ending evil laugh. ;D

BigT: Thanks a bunch,Travis! I'm really happy you enjoyed this!:D
I should've put a few clips that were a bit humorous even though there was one tiny clip of slight dark humor to it.^^;
Sarifus: Thank you very much Sarifus!:)
With this take on my last version of my demo reel I tried to slightly tone done the vocal effects and sfx a bit in hopes of making my voice for each clip more audible. I've also been currently working with attempting to get rid of the peaking in a few of the clips since it does get a little distracting at times but I'm really glad you enjoyed this nonetheless!

Great Reel Fairuza, Expected to hear a good one from you anyway
I probably won't bother going into the whole Ambience and Effects as I'd be too repetitive :)
only really complaint is to add a few more voices/variety in there, Which I know you can do! xD
....makes me wanna update my reel.....gah, Oct 2007 was the last lol

Menchi: I feel bad for not getting back to your critique sooner but I would like to thank you for your honest input!:D
I'm thinking of possibly putting together another demo update sometime in the next 2-3 years since this one seems to have been getting somewhat of a good response to some of the casting directors I've encountered so far,but I will definitely be sure to try adding alot more variety and different styles in the next demo!
I'd really love to hear your new demo reel whenever it's available on the boards. That would be awesome!^^
On another note,I now have a new website with both my Animation and Commercial demos up on the "Reels" page! You can find them at- http://www.daniellemcraevo.com (http://www.daniellemcraevo.com/) (Had to add in the plugin).XD

Ooooh you clever little devil you >:) lmao. You think you could get your demo across without having me listen to it?! SHAAAAME LMAO!
Just took a listen to your animation demo and...SOMETHING sounds familiar heh heh heh :D. Though I was interested in some of your other works as well. You never fail to disappoint me and this is no exception. I simply love your voice! Your vampire was great and loved the "WHO'S HERE TO WITNESS IT!" line; probably my most favorite on the reel lol.
There are a couple of parts though that did distort unfortunately, however I know some of this is grabbed material. If you can, if you're already at the ceiling of your mix, turn everything down and add a master channel limiter. Take down the threshold on that limiter, and whatever is reduced, adjust up at the makeup gain level to where things seem a bit more comfortable and around the same level you lost. If not adjusting minimally on the peak limiter, set the peak at -0.1dB instead of at 0.0dB as even though it's not clipping technically, it never hurts to give your mix a bit of headroom for some systems.
There are a few other things in your mic out mix I do to sweeten some of the frequencies (to a degree) so if you wish to have examples, I can get those to you.
Overall, impressed woosh (hey that's also familiar lol).
Thanks for the enjoyable listen! If you get time Fair, please take a listen to my new 2011 demo reel as well here:

Thank you very much XTREEMMAK! I'm really glad you enjoyed this!LD
I think I posted this demo a long while ago,lol. During the making of this demo, I really loved the sfx in your production so I decided to try snagging a bit of them since they're so awesome!
As for getting rid of the peaking on this demo,I tried to follow your advice on what to do with the master channel limiter but unfortunately, I could not find a master channel limiter option (Since I'm using a mixture of Cool Edit Pro and Abode Soundbooth). I tried turning the volume down on it to avoid most of the peak but that was all I was able to do.^^;
But I'd like to take the time to thank you with you helpful tips and honest critique on this demo and I will definitely be sure to check out your demo very soon hopefully when my plate of things I'm currently working on will become less full! XD;
