A Supernatural Tale

Oft-bullied freshman Elias Parker comes to a new school and meets a new antagonist, as well as few friends. However, partway through, we realize that this is not the first time Elias has been bullied, and a malicious voice living in his head isn't happy with El's passive-aggressive approach.

A junior who openly dislikes Elias, but has to serve him lunch at school one day. This is a very small part, if you don't feel like doing that much.

One of Elias' new friends, and very much a practical joker. He cracks lots of jokes about Tegan, maybe because he has real feelings for her.

Voice Type: Low, slightly insane
A voice that lives in Elias' head. Its parts don't come until the last bit of the story, but they're the payoff.

Age: Late 20s-early 30s
A doctor who ties in with the ending of the story as he writes in his journal. Can't say any more than that. He has one long monologue, so don't audition for the part unless you think you can do it all in one take, please.

The Girl:
Tegan Williams
Age: 17
Sorry for the lack of female parts, but that's just how the story turned out. I had a page limit, and there's not a whole lot of time to develop many characters in that time as it is. Anyway, Tegan is another of the friends that Elias ends up making, and the subject of many of Toby's jokes. She's sort of a smart-ass when she talks to Toby because of this.
