Wow... :3 This looks crazy epic.
Absolutely awesome voice cast here! You've got a dream line up :)
No major complaints mixing wise - just a couple of things. A few lines faded beneath the music so it was difficult to hear a few characters here and there, and I noticed that the music faded out really abruptly right around the time Sephiroth first appeared, which was a bit of a jolt. A few effects would have been well in a few of the different clips as well, but that's getting down to nitpicking.
That aside, I'm really excited to see more of this - great job so far!

I just wanted to say that I really, really, really enjoyed this. I especially loved everyone's interpretations of the characters and I thought the mixing was great. The only thing I could suggest in that department is some SFX, as Tara mentioned, but again that is knit-picking. I'm rather pressed for time at the moment so I can't go too indepth right now with everyone's characters and whatnot, but I will most definitely come back and do so once I get the chance. But again, overall, I really loved this! <3 Great job everyone!!! 8D
P.S.: And boo on youtube!!! ><

Garland/Antfish- A little more gruff than I expected but overall very enjoyable. You never cease to amaze me Ant.
Warrior of Light/Sonicmega- Awesome, it's pretty much what I imagined WoL to have for a voice. But I felt your performance could've had some more MANLY SPIRIT! XD (I also thought of Steiner when I heard you)
Emperor Mateus/DarkWolf- I never was a big fan of FF2, but I felt you really captured the Emperor. Smooth, powerful, awesome.
Firion/Koichi_Saito- Personally I thought the voice was going to be towards your natural range but this works. xD Overall I thought you were spot on. Huzzah!
Cloud of Darkness/Fantachan- I'm sorry, when I watched this the first time I barely heard you. DX But after re-listening I find your voice to be very...sexy and quite fitting for CoD. Gave me a chill down my spine.
Onion Knight/Sasuya- Oh my, I agree with Con I really couldn't tell if it was a boy or not playing the role. So with that in mind I feel you did your job perfectly well, good job!
Ultimecia/Usagi- I found the voice very fitting but I felt it wasn't there yet, I didn't get the same spine tingling feeling I got from some of the other villains.
Kuja/Akumaryu- I'm glad to see you play something different for once Aku. With that said I felt this was a nice performance and I felt you played Kuja...pretty much perfectly.
Zidane/Actorman- I'M JEALOUS OF YOUR ZIDANE!!! You play the man perfectly and it angers me! END. OF. STORY! XD
Jecht/True_Blue- I couldn't quite hear you too well, sorry. Damn my headphones! But from the bit I did hear the voice seemed quite fitting.
Tidus& Cid/Lionfayt- You sir are AWESOME! Playing both Cid & Tidus? My goodness man! You played both roles exceptionally!
Sephiroth/Zeix- You played the character very well Zeix, send shivers down my spine! But what was that strange sound I heard during "Do you miss the light"? XD
Golbez/ConVito- BAM! YOU SIR, ARE GOLBEZ! PERIOOOOD!
Cosmos/Shudo-Ranmaru- D'Awwwwww you were great Shudo. Very beautiful and very fitting. Kudos.
Cecil/HokageTitan- I felt the voice was there but I felt it was lacking in energy, just put a little more "Umph" next time around Kage.
ExDeath/Vincent_the_Paladdin- Another spine tingling performance, just down right creepy. Your version of ExDeath was quite superb.
Bartz/Majinboo0111- I found your vocie very fitting for the character but I felt it was lacking a bit in the energy department. Same advice I gave Kage, jsut more "umph!"
Kefka/Motly Fool- My goodness Motly, you played the man perfectly! You sir, ARE KEFKA!
Terra/ChristineMC- This was just downright cute. Very similar to the trailers I heard but you made it your own.
Cloud/Dusk-Requiem- You did a great Cloud, you always have and you always will.
Chaos/Lioncourt- My goodness, as soon as I heard your voice I knew you were the ultimate baddie. Great kudos LC!
Self Critique- Oh my, well I have to agree with Vito that I definitely slurred my lines. I guess I was just a little excited recording for Squall. DX Overall it was really fun to play him and I can't wait to give him another shot.
Mixing- Pretty much the same as everyone else, more SFX. Otherwise not bad. ^^
Overall- Everyone fits their characters perfectly and I'm SO glad I'm apart of this awesome project! =D
Most voices were appropriately placed, but I felt like some of them had less-than-satisfactory mic quality and the lines sounded really breathy and whispery. I'm not sure what was up with the overall quality of the visuals, everything looked pretty distorted, but it was good nonetheless.
Awesome job to everyone, all the voices fit nicely. :)

Amazing voices in this O_O
I can't wait for more if you decide to get some more Dissidia up :)
For a trailer, it was quite amazing, I don't find anything wrong with it at all, it's so gripping and wants me to watch more.
Absolutely amazing! :)

Fantastic everyone! I'm really diggin' the cast and the mixing was cool. =D Something sounded odd with the audio on this, but that's probably my headphones again and their crappiness, xD D=
(I'll try and make a more thorough comment about this latorz.)

*takes a deep breath*
Cid of the Lufaine (Narrator): lionfayt - Very... narrator-like... No but in all honesty I prefer this to what I've heard so far of the official English voice (you hear it in the IGN review). Very stoic and not over the top. Perfect for the role.
Garland: Antfish - I picture Garland to be a little less gruff to be honest. I see him having a smoother but still deep and commanding voice that goes along with his status as a former noble knight. Nicely done though, you certainly sounded evil enough.
Warrior of Light: sonicmega - Lord help me, because whenever I hear your voice, no matter what kind of range you're in, I always hear Steiner. Even so, this was nice and you put forth just the right amount of enthusiasm.
Emperor Mateus: DarkWolf - You sounded a little like Terrence Stone (who, unless I'm gravely mistaken, plays Mateus in the game), and I like him. So naturally I like you. But seriously it was great.
Firion: Koichi Saito - Nice Johnny impression! That's a voice I'd kill to be able to do. But you sir pulled it off wonderfully.
Cloud of Darkness: fantachan - Sexy *growls*. Just like the character should be, even though she/it's supposedly "genderless." But I refuse to believe something this hot isn't female.
Onion Knight: Sasuya - Wish I heard more of you, cause you sounded good. Definitely sounded like a young boy. I actually had to check the cast list to see if it was a girl or a boy playing the part, it was that good.
Ultimecia: Usagi - Dat's hawt. Seriously, it was stonking sexy. I think I prefer this to the official dub.
Squall: CountAbyss - A couple very minor issues with barely noticeable slurring of words. But otherwise it was really cool. You make an awesome Squall.
Kuja: Akumaryu - Hoo yeah. This is exactly how Kuja should sound. You nailed it. Kudos all around.
Zidane: Actorman - What can I say? You're Zidane. You were Zidane before Bryce was Zidane in my book. I was expecting just a hair more energy, but that's probably because I'm more basing it off of what I've heard in the demo and trailers. Nice.
Jecht: True_Blue - I expected you to be playing Squall, since that seems to be one of your big roles. But you fit Jecht pretty nicely. It sounded a little forced, but all in all it fit very well.
Tidus: lionfayt - Whoa, Cid and Tidus?! And you pulled both off nicely. Kudos to you.
Sephiroth: Zeix - Ooh baby, that was sweet. So deep, creepy, and intimidating. You are Sephiroth.
Golbez: ConVito - I'm quite proud of my job in this. I've certainly been getting a lot of practice at Golbez lately.
Cosmos: Shudo-Ranmaru - I luvz the Shudo. You've got such a great range, and I must say, your voice totally suits this beautiful woman.
Cecil: HokageTitan - I blame Yuri Lowenthal for preventing me from enjoying this wonderful performance to its fullest. Ever since that first English trailer I've always heard him as Cecil. I can definitely tell this was a great performance though. I won't say any more because I'm fairly certain that any criticism I have is due to the difference in voice and nothing more.
ExDeath: Vincent_the_Paladdin - I've heard so many different interpretations of Exdeath. This one is just as good, if not better than all the others I've heard. Nicely done.
Bartz: Majinboo0111 - You've certainly got the voice down. But I think it could use more energy. I mean, it's Bartz. He's the kind of guy who hangs around with Zidane all day (willingly, I might add lol) so that's kind of what I'd expect from him. But maybe that's just me.
Kefka: Motly Fool - Oh. Hell. YES. I could easily see Kefka with this voice. You match the character so perfectly it's scary. Well, now I'm certain I made the right choice in casting you as the insane villain in my radioplay lol.
Terra: ChristineMC - Sounded so much like what I've heard in the trailers and demo, and that's a good thing. Even so, you made it your own as well. Good work.
Cloud: Dusk-Requiem - You're the best Cloud I've heard this side of Steve Burton. Just like with Motly and Kefka, I could very easily see Cloud with your voice as his official voice.
Chaos: lioncourt - Oh lord, I know how tough these evil, low, gruff voices are, even with effects. I have to applaud you for how well you pulled it off. I do a lot of voices like this, and I know how difficult it is. But you pulled through like a champion, kicked the role in the face, and made it your bitch.

This was just pure awesome! Very fun to be apart of this! Everyone did amazing and all the voices fit so well. I felt like I really didn't get the delivery right, yet like I told Koichi I had no idea who Bartz was ^^; I promise I'll do better when we do more dubs. Again, congrats to the whole cast. This was awesome to listen to and I hope everyone enjoys the dub Koichi plans to do later =D

Unbelievable. Every freakin character voice in this trailer was unbelievable. No one sounded off from his/her character and the mixing is just brilliant. There were some places where the music covered the voices a little, but overall this was great. Now I'm going to be sad if the dubs aren't as good as this. Good job, everyone!
Jecht: True_Blue - I expected you to be playing Squall, since that seems to be one of your big roles. But you fit Jecht pretty nicely. It sounded a little forced, but all in all it fit very well.
Thanks, but I've never played as Squall. :P If I ever play as Jecht again, I'll try to improve.

Cool video really gets you excited and pumped up for the game.
Since most didn't have enough lines for me to be a fair judge I'll just go with the characters I can.
Cid- Well its a nice narrator voice but cid is suppose to at least sound somewhat old which he doesn't at all here. Still a great narration job nonetheless.
Warrior of Light- Comes out a bit flat, almost likes hes trying to say his lines way too fast (which he probably had to). Though I think the voice is well done for the part. He was fine on his lines when he was talking to Squall so he just needs to work on his energy parts.
Firion- Same problem as warrior of light except he just seems uncomfortable with his lines. I think it'll be fine as the dub goes on though.
Onion Knight- sounds fine but not enough lines to judge
Cecil- Sounds fine with talking but once he has to start talking louder he sounds rather uncomfortable. His "Hollowed Light" and "Behold" line comes across as rather weak because of this.
Bartz- A nice voice but also way too forced for his lines. Seemed like the energy the voice actor had was just a bit misapplied so I'm sure it'll be fine in the long run.
Terra- Fine from what I can tell, though her tone seems to be a bit low.
Cloud- Can't tell but seems fine.
Squall- Also seems like he's trying to read his lines too fast. Also some of his emotions seem a bit awkward.
Zidane- Also can't tell but the energy seems to be there. Sounds a bit too manly for him though if you ask me.
Tidus- Sounds like Tidus...and thats cool (sorry not enough lines).
Cosmos- Wow just wow. Definately didn't have any complaints with this voice as it just seemed to fit her so well. The lines weren't overacted and she got that whole "holy and serene" voice down really good. Great job!
Garland- Seems to lose his voice as he yells so I would try to work on that.
Emperor- Seems fine though his voice volume sort of fluctuates so I would work on trying to keep it consistent.
Cloud of Darkness- Cool voice...and that's all I can say.
Golbez- Seems like a good Golbez voice though all his lines are read a bit too monotoned. Though it'll probably be fine in the main dub.
Exdeath- Really cool voice. I don't think I see any real problems with his acting either.
Kefka- Pretty sweet Kefka both in voice and in acting. Although on some of his lines it kind of cracks much like Garland so try and keep it a little smoother.
Sephiroth- Good voice and acting. only complaint I have is how he said the last line as it seemed a little bit forced.
Ultemecia- Awesome voice as well. She really fits this character quite well.
Chaos- Fine when he's talking normally but he seems to kind of lose it just a little bit when he has to increase his volume. Comes out like he's forcing it just a little. Probably will be fine in the main dub.
Overall it was a superb video and I had to watch it 4 times just so I could give a fair critique (but it's worth watching more). Great job to all the actors.

Oh boy... I don't know if I'm ready for this. XD
Please take all this with a grain of salt, as there were very few lines from any character in this trailer, and I just wanted to focus solely on what I heard, not what I know you're capable of. That being said, I also tried to be critical, but it's also very nitpicky. Remember that.
Cid of the Lufaine: Dude, I cannot even tell you how jealous I am that you can go from Tidus to this voice. You have a range I'd kill for. Just sayin'. Critique-wise, what you had in the beginning was exactly what I wanted to hear, it was perfect for an introduction/build-up into the grand fighting spectacle that was the trailer. That being said, the end line "FINAL FANTASY: DISSIDIA" definitely left my wanting something more. It seemed to be consistent with the lines before, delivery style, which unfortunately didn't fit. It worked for a build-up, but not a final culimination. I just felt it to be a little low-key; the energy could've probably been amped up a bit to really bring a catharsis to the trailer. But seriously, that voice... ergh...
Garland: I really wish I had heard more of you to judge, but I felt this was very fitting. All in all, this worked for me. I can't say more than that. Keep it up, and I hope I never have to fight you, because that voice makes me think you're gonna take me down.
Warrior of Light: Will finish, promise!
Emperor: We briefly discussed this last night as we were watching, but the voice works, but didn't remain consistent enough for me. Notable words for this example were "harmony". You pronounced it "hahmony" while everything was in a standard accent. The voice you were using worked, and the approach to over-enunciate helped retain the Emperor's elegant qualities, but in several places it didn't remain as consistent as I'd hoped, leading to me wondering if you were supposed to have an accent, or you weren't. This problem is honestly not as bad as this all makes it out to be, but this IS a critique. The voice just needs to be honed more. Besides that, I did think the voice you used to be elegant, refined, and as sinister as I'd like to hear.
Firion: As far as I know, this was your only line. It felt... a little unnatural, to be completely frank. The voice worked, but the delivery just seemed off. You chose to place the emphasis on "I have dreams!" rather than "Dreams worth dying for!", which I don't completely agree with. Also, the words seemed a little muddled, and this is a point I'll make a couple other times further down this critique, the lines need to sound urgent, but don't lose the enunciation in the process. Again, I stress that the voice itself hits the mark for me, and I hope to see it grow as we (potentially) go on.
Cloud of Darkness: While it didn't get a lot of play, this definitely was a stand-out early on in the trailer. Sultry, deep, sinister, exactly what I wanted to hear out of the good ol' Cee-oh-dee. If I had to pick out anything, it would be that you seemed to affect the way you said "dispear," almost like you were slipping into an accent. It was like Darkwolf's Emperor, the voice was incredible, but it was very minor things that interrupted the consistency. All in all, just keep doing what you're doing, please.
Onion Knight: I'm really enamored at how well you can pull off these boy voices, and this was no exception. My only real qualm is that I felt your exclamation "Strength to protect everyone" was not as resolute as I'd expected. So, besides a small problem with how I thought the energy was placed, this was really a wonderful job.
Ultimecia: If I had to choose one stand-out performance in the first half of the trailer, I think it would be yours; congratulations. I honestly hold this in higher esteem than the official voice. I'm trying so hard to give everyone something to work on, but you... you're great. I can't wait to hear more.
Squall: For me, it was pretty much the same problem with Firion. The voice is there, and I know with a little work this will be a perfectly applicable Squall. But the delivery was awkward for me. It lacked a certain amount of determination, and the emphasis seemed a bit wonky to me. My biggest critique for you is just to really commit to what you're saying. "I will sever it!!" is a pretty powerful and loaded exclamation, and I just didn't feel threatened when you said it. Aside from that, just make sure you take the time to enunciate what you're saying, the words and certain consonants became a little murky, I'm not sure if that was from nerves or excitement, but as an example "anything else" really took the fall. That being said, I think you have the makings for a great Squall. Just don't take any jokes too far.
Kuja: You've been subject to a lot of mixed reviews for this interpretation, and you must remember that this critique is coming from an uptight, pompous, Effeffninophile. This did not mesh with my interpretation of Kuja, I'm sorry. It overall just seemed very flamboyant, and there wasn't a lot of power behind it. This is something I don't think the actual English VA captured well either, so if you went for his delivery, then perhaps that's why it's not meshing with me. I can see how the voice would work, your delivery just lacked a lot of character for me, like there was really very little behind it. I apologize if I sound harsh, and I remind you to take this with a grain of salt, seeing as you had all of one line; I just wanted to hear something a little more fierce, I suppose.
Zidane: I feel like I didn't do my research before recording these lines. The line lacked energy, plain and simple. Sorry, guys. I guess it sounded like Zidane though, which is a step in the right direction!
Jecht: Strange that FF10 got such little play in this trailer... It was missing a lot of the gruffness I'm used to from the original VA, but I see this working. My primary issue was that it didn't seem like Jecht talking, it lacked a certain amount of condescension and jocularity that I expected. No doubt in my mind that given more elbow room you'll do just fine, though.
Tidus: What a glorious three words. There's not a lot to say, but I thought you had a little bit of Zidane's problem in that the delivery didn't match the animation, which isn't particularly your fault. He was just running toward Jecht, and the energy of the line didn't quite match up for me. But have I told you recently how well I think you fit Tidus? You do, you know.
Sephiroth: Your Sephiroth voice was absolutely spot-on, and I really applaud you for that. It's exactly how I think he should sound, and you really deliver in that respect. Your Sephiroth delivery was not absolutely spot-on, however. I thought that your deliveries seemed rushed. Give yourself some room to draw out the deliveries somewhat, when you say them too quickly, you lose some of the ethereal quality that Sephiroth should exude. Especially "the one who controls your fate is me!" felt flat and a little bit glanced over. Really dig into those lines.
Golbez: This is pretty much what I had to say for Sephiroth above you. Your Golbez voice is absolutely flawless, it literally gives me chills when I hear you say "You're naive, Cecil." I just thought the performance itself was very static. I'd say don't rely on the voice too much to take you where it needs to go, I just needed a little more power or a few more dynamic deliveries. A line in particular I could quote was "You would be willing to depend on the whims of others?" because, and maybe I'm just reading into it wrong, this line is judgmental, even condescending. You I thought you should find that concept almost laughable, and it just seemed like a very flat and serious delivery. But oh man, that Golbez voice makes me all kinds of excited for the dub.
Cosmos: I have no real qualms with this performance, I'm sorry Shudo. It was pretty much great. Your lines had a certain amount of breathiness which I don't expect from a goddess, but all in all this was very solid.
Cecil: Not done yet, sorry.
Exdeath: Wish I could've finished, I'll get it soon!
Bartz: Ah, so close! I'll get it up later!
Kefka: Fondest apologies, I'll hook you up soon!
Terra: Almost. I'll hop to it as soon as possible.
Cloud: When I get back from work, promise.
Chaos: Soon!

On the contrary, I appreciate the honesty behind this. You would not be the only one not quite pleased by my performance. I myself don't particularly like it. My original take was quite different from what you hear in the clip. The final take was done according to the wishes of the director. As it is his project, I can only do what pleases him. Hearing that the delivery is not quite up to snuff is something I will keep in mind in any and all future clips. Though I do feel I did as best I could given the circumstances, especially with knowing nothing of the actual character. But again, I will definitely work harder at it in the future. Thanks for the critique, because I need it.

For some reason the video won't play all the way through for me, but what I saw of this was superb! Everyone fits their role perfectly, and I love the interpertation you guys took for the voices. Nice mixing too.

Final Fantasy you say? Critique you say?
Narrator: The pacing and the delivery was very nice, and you voice fit the role really well.
Garland: Great energy and delivery! I thought it came off a tad over-the-top, but hey, this is FF!
Warrior of Light: Although it's only one line, I found this line to be a tad weak. You should put a bit more emotion behind this, and it would be perfect.
Emperor: Very noble sounding, which was quite fitting. It sounded quiet, but that was a mixing issue and not your own. My biggest issue was how you said "Harmony". It sounded more like "Homony", but the rest was just fine.
Firion: The emotions were great, although "dreams" sounded a little off.
Cloud of Darkness: Very sinister and strong, it was a good performance. Your delivery decisions were spot on.
Onion Knight: You have such a great boy voice Sasuya, and it is on great display here. Acting and energy was great as well.
Ultimecia: Over-emphasizing your syllables a bit, especially on "Life", but no real complaints on the voice. good work.
Squall: I liked the vocal range you use here, and beyond some energy preference, I liked where you were going with it.
Kuja: Although the laugh was a tad awkward, I loved the delivery of the line thereafter.
Zidane: I liked the voice choice here, and the energy was spot on. Good job.
Jecht: A tad forced in general, but the pacing was decent.
Tidus: You peaked a bit, and you almost lost control at the "end", but once again, a good choice in voices.
Sephiroth: The timbre of your voice was fantastic, and you delivery was great for the most part. I do think you could have put more of a oomph in your final line, but I understand sustaining a voice like that is difficult.
Golbez: I really liked the voice you picked for this, and your delivery was strong. I think there was some emotion missing in your line though when he was fighting Cecil.
Cosmos: I really like that your pacing and delivery for this part. Very fitting for this role.
Cecil: The voice and energy was fantastic on the first half, but started to wear down on the second half. Keep that up, and it would have been perfect.
Exdeath: Your voice was fantastic. I love the dangerous and arrogant feel of your lines. No complaints here.
Bartz: Sadly was quite lackluster. The energy nor the delivery were too great. If you would have pushed it a bit more, it would fit very well in the role.
Kefka: You got the crazy clown voice down pat. you were peaking a bit, but your energy was literally leaking out of the lines, which is a good thing.
Terra: Your voice was quite fitting, and your emotions were spot on. You sound very concerned, which fit the role very well.
Cloud: I am at a conflict here. I think you are a fantastic voice actor, but I think the voice was lacking something. I expected Cloud to sound a tad darker, but he came off a little too strong. The voice would have been great with one of the many other protagonist parts in this game though.
Chaos: I loved the sinister and otherworldly voice you chose for this part. The yell topped a bit though, and the yell was a little different from the voice you established, but it was close.
A mixed bag, but overall a good product!

Warrior of Light: Although it's only one line, I found this line to be a tad weak. You should put a bit more emotion behind this, and it would be perfect.
Totally agreeing with this. The first time I did it, albeit in a deeper voice, it had a fair amount more of that "fierceness" that was required for the scene, but when I redid the line closer to my normal tone, I suppose some energy got looked over there. Should I be asked to reprise my role for future clips, I'll definitely make sure not to let stupid mistakes like that happen.
Thanks for the feedback!

Golbez: I really liked the voice you picked for this, and your delivery was strong. I think there was some emotion missing in your line though when he was fighting Cecil.
I agree somewhat. But I was actually basing my performance on how it was done in the original video. The line I said during the Cecil/Golbez battle is actually not during a battle moment. It's actually said when Golbez is standing and talking to Cecil. (you can check the Golbez exhibition video on Gamespy to see). So it wasn't exactly supposed to be taking place during "battle." But I also agree that it could have used more emotion, considering the second part of the line should probably be more condescending, as others have told me, and they would be right.

Bartz: Sadly was quite lackluster. The energy nor the delivery were too great. If you would have pushed it a bit more, it would fit very well in the role.
Can agree easily. Like I said before, I had no idea who the character was, how exactly I should deliver my lines, and that I felt rushed when my computer broke. Whenever future dubs are happening upon this, I'm going to focus more on who the character is and actually get the emotion right. Just hope the voice choice was good.

Final Fantasy you say? Critique you say?
Cecil: The voice and energy was fantastic on the first half, but started to wear down on the second half. Keep that up, and it would have been perfect.

Thanks bro, I'll remember to keep that energy up whenever it's necessary. =P
