AUDITIONS CURRENTLY CLOSED SO I CAN FINALLY FINISH CASTING AND GET SCRIPTS OUT TO THE POOR PEOPLE ALREADY CASTED.

Ouran Gakuen is a private school full of rich kids. Poor scholarship student Fujioka Haruhi wandered into the Third Music Room one day and met 6 beautiful guys, all members of the Ouran Koukou Host Club. Haruhi accidentally broke a decorative vase worth 6 million yen and now has to pay them back... by working for them? Let the hijinks ensue!

I figured I should try my hand at putting together a radioplay, so this is going to be my first. Please bear with me and let me know if some things are wrong. ^^;; Despite the mostly male cast, there's plenty of room for girls too - it's a host club, so lots of female extras squealing and such. Also, I may also self-cast myself if I don't find the right voice, so please don't be too surprised if I do. Also, I'm only going to be doing the first volume - that's all I have.

Otori Kyoya (Oh-toh-ree Keeyo-yah)
Voice: Medium to medium low, serious.
Personality: Data-man. XD He's intelligent, with many resources, and he knows it, taking full advantage of it all for use in his role as Host Club vice president. He's a meticulous type, but he'll go along with just about anything if he can make a profit from it. Kyoya's the coordinator for the Host Club, the man behind every decision (since Tamaki is so unreliable), and he makes sure the plans can go through even if there's a slight (or not-so-slight) change. Everything he does is for the good of the Host Club, and following that, money. He's not obsessed with money though, he just knows how to take advantage of a situation and turn it to his favor.

Line 1: (explaining) Our motto is to make use of each of our characteristics to satisfy our customers' needs.
Line 2: (calculating) It should turn out to be pretty interesting.
Line 3: (matter-of-factly) I'm very sorry, but we cannot leave any evidence of the club members' violent acts.

Morinozuka Takashi (Mori)
Voice: Low, with a slightly more mature sound than the rest.
Personality: The epitome of strong and silent. He's usually around Honey-sempai, and is always there to comfort his childish friend. He doesn't speak much, so when he does, it tends to shock Haruhi at first. He actually belongs to the Kendo Club, but is part of the Host Club thanks to Honey-chan. Mori is down-to-earth, but he spends most of his time soothing Honey-chan.

Line 1: I was asked for help, so I helped.
Line 2: (panting) An... an injury...
Line 3: ...Usa-chan really wanted to have a cup of tea...

If you audition for Mori, please also audition for Otori and vice-versa.

Voice: Medium-ish. [If you're going to try out for both, please try to make a slight difference between their voices. Otherwise, I'll just pick two separate VAs who happen to sound similar in their auditions.]
Personality: They're twins who can be best described as "dry". If they're interested in something, then they'll be really into it, but if they're not, then they can be really cold-hearted. Hikaru and Kaoru are pretty calculated towards their female guests, acting in the manner that they think the girls would love them to act so that they'll be happy. They particularly love to take advantage of yaoi fangirls by playing seme and uke (*cough* Look those up yourself.), though they're not really interested in such a relationship. The twins can act childish at times, and particularly love the idea of dressing up Haruhi (while teasing Tamaki with the idea). More often than not, they do things in unison.

Hikaru Line 1: (curious) Haruhi, how's your dancing coming?
Kaoru Line 1: (soothing) Well, I'm sure it'll be okay.

Hikaru Line 2: In addition, you will be loved by two at the same time!
Kaoru Line 2: Isn't that the ultimate romance for girls?

Hikaru Line 3: (seductive) Of course, it's my job to take off the kimono, isn't it, Kaoru?
Kaoru Line 3: (embarrassed) Hikaru...!! I'm embarrassed... not in front of everyone, please...!

Bonus line: Hahahaha, Haruhi's being sexually harassed by Tono again. (they say this together, so... yeah. Not necessary, but fun.)

Voice: Medium-range, soft.
Personality: She's very self-confident, though her uncertainty about Suzushima's feelings tend to undermine her at times. She puts up a good act of being happy and content and feeling free without Suzushima, but Haruhi easily sees through it, which shocks her quite a bit.

Line 1: (speaking loudly, denying) NO, I DON'T KNOW HIM! OH MY, WHAT ARE YOU SAYING, HARUHI-KUN?!
Line 2: (cheerful) Haruhi-kun! I was looking for you!
Line 3: (sad) ...It's okay... he doesn't care about what I do...

Voice: Medium to Medium-high
Personality: He really does love Kanako, but he feels inferior to her and tells her so, along with informing her that he'll be moving to the UK soon. And this naturally gets her mad, because... well, women. Who can figure them out? (No offense to the girls, I'm one myself. XDD) He's really very kind and loyal, but that inferiority complex is a problem.

Line 1: I'm just another student. Can't you see I'm wearing a uniform?
Line 2: (uneasy) Uh... you sent this?
Line 3: (wistful) I want to change. I'll go see the world... and come back as a more capable guy.

EXTRAS
Those of you who tried out but didn't get a role - I'll still be needing extras, as mentioned. Narrator, chorusing/screaming fangirls, etc. And also cameramen/bullies. Yes, male extras will be needed to. So expect a script.

So far, I'm very disappointed in the utter lack of Otori auditions - I've only gotten new auditions from Rukia, and while I don't mind casting her (since she did get the tone of the lines right and sounds low enough to pass), I'd like a bit more variety to choose from. (If I don't get any more auditions within the week, consider yourself casted, Rukia. I'll update the main post with it.)

Out of the cast, only Zidane-kun has yet to confirm, but since his is a one-act character, it should be fine until we get to that act. Those who auditioned/were casted should expect scripts within the month (time and being unwillingly forced into a prom dress allowing).

You're perfectly welcome to send in any auditions you like - I don't mind if the Mori audition is the same pitch as the Otori audition, actually. And he doesn't have many lines (it was VERY hard finding lines for the auditions) to begin with, as important a character that he is.

Just send it in soon, or let me know a date you'll send it in by, since it seems the already-casted are rather anxious. ^^;
