By some strange fate I was inspired to share a bit of my work from last year (I took art in high school, but was never very good). I can't say I'm really proud of these... only little parts of them.
Pretty much now, I'm a retired artist since I only draw for birthday cards and such nowadays :-P.
Dix Infernal Mana (http://www.cfirefly.web1000.com/art/mana.jpg)
Aside from the craptacular flames going on in the background this image was a reproduction of an image in Moi Dix Mois' Dix Infernal Album. Oh and I changed the wings and made them look a hell of a lot worse (they looked good in my sketch T_T)
Ink Blotching (http://www.cfirefly.web1000.com/art/inkblotch.jpg)
This was an experimental ink blotch piece done by dabbing ink on the page then blowing it around with a straw XD. Afterwards, we had to try to make them into something by adding stuff via pen & ink. I was going for spiderweb at first, but they all look like trees no matter what you do, so yeah.
Japanese Bridge: Kintaikyo (http://www.cfirefly.web1000.com/art/kintaikyo1.jpg)
I was attempting to imitate the Japanese print style (ukiyo-e) using acrylic paint. I was pressed for time 'cause I spent a whole week just getting the EXACT right shade for the background green colour. Needless to say it was a failure, but at least the little people are cool.
Gargoyle Print (http://www.cfirefly.web1000.com/art/print4large.jpg)
This is a linoleum print.
No BEARS.
