Well, we know certain VAA members have lost interest in Les Miserables over the past few months, and I know as well that others still enjoy it.

Les Miserables Returns Mafia Game

It is June 5th, 1832. With the death of General Lamarque, the only member of the heirarchy in France with sympathy towards the middle class of France. Led by Enjolras, a band of students and friends gather together to revolt against the French Army in the streets of Paris. But, trouble looms.

The Rules:

1. NO TALKING OUTSIDE THE GAME REGARDING THE GAME.
2. NO ROLECLAIMING. YOU CANNOT SAY "I AM JAVERT! AND I AM A LUNATIC POLICE DETECTIVE, HELL BENT ON FINDING PRISONER 24601!"
3. You MAY however, roleplay. But not to the point it's roleclaiming.
4. ACTIVITY is a MUST, guys. Let's not be too inactive. 3 game days=warning. 4=MOD-KILLED. Ok.
6. If you ask me if you're dead, I'll simply link you to the Player List.
7. You are allowed to talk at night. I'm a nice guy, after all. o not constantly spam however, else I'll be asking mods to start closing the thread each night.
8. ALL NIGHT ACTIONS MUST BE SENT IN ON TIME.
9. VOTES AND UNVOTES ARE DONE IN BOLD. EX. Vote: DonJuan or Unvote: DonJuan. Not in bold? Not counted.
10. HAVE FUN.

Enjolras finished putting the last bench in place of their barricade.

Before Enjolras can continue, a drunk man who had been leaning against a nearby lamppost, suddenly leans and falls over, a knife in his back. Javert, hidden amongst the group, walks carefully over to the dead man and sees a note with the knife, covered somewhat with blood. Pulling out the knife from the body, he looks at the letter.

Hahaha! Foolish peasants! We look forward to seeing you rot for this! What makes you think you can stand up to the National Guard?! Oh well, it's all just more fun for us. Try not to live through this.

"It would appear the National Guard isn't the only threat that we face here at this barricade." He wondered whether if by chance, Prisoner 24601 had become a murderer as well as a petty thief.

It is now Day 1. All votes must be in by 9pm Eastern.

I appologize for my absense... I've had a troubling day.

I am reluctant to vote for an inactive... I do not want any innocents to be harmed in this terrible process of guessing who our allies are. Might we use our pass, against our mod's request?

However, if we do decide that risking a loss is necessary... I would agree with Sparrow, in that Essie /seems/ to be an ally, or not a danger to us at worst. May we look to her for guidance, and may she lead us towards the path of righteousness.

Well, since it is the half hour mark, we must come and make a decision.

We could prevent an innocent death today and use the ticket at hand. Although the mod has suggested not to use it the first day, it was merely a suggestion. However, as the controller of the game, there might be more surprises in the near future in which we would have wish to have this ticket.

But maybe... just maybe we will find the culprit and have him repent before the Lord before such a need arises. For that, let us protect the innocent.

Might I add that both spade and mong are in different time zones, so it would be unfair for them if they are still asleep (or something). Although then it would be unfair for the other masses.

And after I wake back up, I get a sh**load of jobs suddenly given to me.

As dawn came, it seemed as if all was still. Indeed, it seemed all together too quiet. "We seem to be missing people." Grantaire was stumped as to where so many had gone. A search of the area discovered the truth of the grim matter.

JellybeanQueen2, Enjolras, and Town Investigator and Hero, has been found dead, with different ligaments spread out around the entire area.

But that's not all.

Elsewhere, a pool of blood was found surrounding another member of the party. An empty wine bottle lay shattered by the head. Javert squatted down and moved his hand by their nose and mouth. "This one is still alive, but out cold. They'll probably have a nasty headache when they wake up."

xSPADEofHEART has been knocked out cold and may not speak or vote today.

Firing muskets at the others, the three then went into the pub as the bodies lay strewn throughout the street, left to die.

osparrow: Eponine Thenardier (Heroine Roleblocker & Townie). No special daytime skills, but at night, you may choose to tell a tale of a love that wasn't meant to be. Namely you and Marius. Pick a player, and watch them cry at your sad, sad tale.
Essie: Bishop Myriel (Mafia Leader). You may, as a duly designated representative of the Roman Catholic Church, give guidance and wisdom to the players, and ask that all be done for the Kingdom of Heaven. At night, as leader of the Mafia, you may choose to bless a player, that is, to send a message to any player telling them that God loves them, and will protect them. (Might as well throw the townies off)
Namanda: Javert (Mafia Apprentice). With Essie and Kelsey, you can work to kill or riddle, but you have the added advantage of protecting one member of the group from attack or investigation, but only one. And you cannot protect the same member two consecutive nights. Choose wisely.
Kelsey Kay: Jean ValJean (Mafia). Those 19 years in prison and the hardships since have this time, made you uncaring of the world around you, and wanting to see it destroyed. Along with your buddies Namanda and Essie, you can work together to target a player either with death, or with trying to solve a riddle of complexity. If they cannot answer it by day's end the next day, their vote changes to a vote for themselves.
Scheris: Cosette (Townie). No daytime abilities, but since you and Marius were separated, you've been trying to find him. At night, you may sing of you undying love to another player, hoping that it is indeed Marius. Just let me know whom you would like to perform for.
elad: Madame Thenardier (Townie). No special abilities this time, though you may spam as much as you like at night, as you have my permission. (He didn't really seen to spam much though.)
JellybeanQueen2: Enjolras (Town Hero & Investigator).
You inspire those around you to fight for freedom and for a brighter future, without poverty. At night, you may investigate another player to help determine their identity, but not their allegiance.
xSPADEofHEART: Gavroche Thenardier (Serial Killer). Every night, you may target a player to kill via coin toss. If the player isn't being protected, a heads will result in a kill. A tails will result in injury, but not death. During the day, you may act as an Investigator might, throwing clues about other players, whether they are correct or not.
mongtsatsa: Marius (Townie). No special abilities this time around, though you can vote and chat during the day. You may also enjoy the sunsets over Hong Kong as well. :razz:
CrossFire: Monsier Thenardier (Townie).
No special abilities, but you can admire gold and such that the other players are wearing during the daytime.
Russ: Fantine (Neutral). You don't really care for anyone in this revolution, save for yourself. Try to keep alive as best you can.
