About the VAA and all the diufferent forums. I wish it would just be pure voice-acting and not all the other forums that are in it. I mean I think it would be much more interesting if it only focused on voice-acting instead of other things like the library and loung and such. What do you think?

I DISAGREE.
If you truly believed this, you would not have started this thread to begin with.

*sigh* Didn't we go through all this just, what -- two? three? -- months ago?
*Grumbles*
Besides. We tried VAA as just pure voice acting. It was alright, but the atmosphere just didn't feel right.
We're here to have fun. Amateur voice acting is a HOBBY. Not a job. Yes, fine, people should by all means read the rules and STICK to them, but darnit, if you expect people to act all grown up and professional by taking away the community aspect, it's not going to happen. Instead, you're just going to lose people. There were a lot of complaints. *nods*
Personally, I think the VAA is fine as it is. ^^

Very observant point there, Tom. Very observant. *nods*
Yeah, if you were bored, maybe you should do some voice acting auditions instead of posting in a forum you think shouldn't be here.
It's a community and there's good people here who wanna chat. So what does it matter? If you personally don't like it, you don't have to go on these boards and it's not like there's a lack of projects due to these boards, is there?

There's only complaints and threads like this cause most of the people on this board don't even do voice acting, so once this part boards we're taken away it took away the only thing they do here that's why they complained.

I have absolutely no idea what you are trying to say here, but it's definitely not in English, and it's definitely wrong.

In other words, people complained because when the chattier forums like these were removed, he's saying that they also took away what most people come here for -- the chat.
My concern isn't the people who complain. My concern is the people on the recieving end. The admins went through HELL during that time. I, for one (don't know about the rest of you), don't want them to have to go through that again, even if my words are colored by the fact that you folks are my friends....

I think AVA is great just the way it is. All the other boards like this allow everybody to get to know each other better. You can't do that well if it's just voice acting.

Exactly. Cause out of 1306 members most of them don't even voice act and well this place is called the VOICE ACTING ALLIANCE, which is for voice acting so why are you even here if you don't do something with voice acting? That's why this happened before, cause the people that do voice act here are complaing about the people that don't do anything here and the people that don't VA or don't often are yet again complaing about threads like this. So why don't we all just shut up already, and just live with things the way they are.

Yes, as Masa said ^_^

'kay to be polite: We went through this a few months ago. The idea looked good, but didn't work out. Many people didn't like it and it created a migrane for the administration because many people complained and certain members acted very immaturely about this. I liked the idea, but the majority didn't.. so things are the way they are now, and probably won't ever change. Also, this is more of a topic for the feedback forum and, since it's been beaten into the ground, should probably be closed.
