Project information –
This is a project to add new content to the existing commercial video game, “Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines”. The primary purpose of these auditions is to provide voices for new characters being added to the game. Just a heads up: most of the roles contain harsh language, so if that's not your thing, stay away.
Audition deadline –
Honestly, this is a hobby, freelance project, so there's not a lot of pressure on any deadlines. I'd like to finish taking auditions a week from today though, May, 26th.
Recording and Contact information -
Please deliver auditions to my email, justneedanemail@yahoo.com. Address looks fake, but I promise you it's quite real. Once you're “in”, I'll contact you from my non-spam trap email. Please provide recordings as mp3 files. Filenames should be saved as charactername_yourname_linenumber.mp3 . I don't think any special file attributes are necessary for auditions.
Characters
MALES
Name: Adithya
Age: Older Adult
Bio: This is an assassin from the rival group of vampires. He is of middle-eastern descent and is using the player as part of a larger power deal, and basically trash talks most of the conversation
Voice Type: Something grizzly, mean, and with a middle-eastern or Indian accent.
Audition line 1: Nothing you need to know the details about. Just keep it in mind when the deal's going down. Try something funny and you'll find out what my blade looks like extended from the inside of your skull.
Audtion line 2: You must think I'm an idiot if you think I'd be fooled this easily. Is there some story to this or did you just have a death wish?

Name: Lorenzo
Age: Middle-Aged Adult
Bio: An enigmatic, mysterious power-broker that spends most of his time lurking in the shadows; his motives mainly remain unclear to the player for most of the game. Open to suggestion on the voice, but was considering something calm, deep, and dark.
Audition Line 1: Let's just say, you'd have some pretty powerful friends watching your back if you do this. As for as I can see, you could use some friends these nights.
Audition Line 2: I should have known better than to trust the bastard child of a backstabbing clan of power hungry blue-bloods.

FEMALES
Name: Jane
Age: Middle-Aged Adult
Bio: She's a modern day aristocratic vampire; a financial genius by night, enjoying what she still can of the mortal high life. The player meets her at a banquet and is chatting her up for info.
Voice type: Anything that conveys high-life. Classic British accent, refined Southern drawl, or a nasally Prima donna.
Audition line 1: Cute. Maybe we can go out for a drink later. I'm Jane. I'm a financial consultant. What's your business?
Audition line 2: Oh, so you *are* part of the club. What brings you out tonight then?

Age: Young to middle aged Adult
Bio: Minor role. Not much time to see any personality, but she is an aspiring nightclub-owner and kind of a bitch.
Voice type: Open to suggestions. I was thinking of possibly something humorous; “squeaky” perhaps.
Audition line 1: Excellent! That's exactly what I wanted to hear. But, I'm afraid I'll have to bother you for just one more favor.
Audition line 2: Pathetic. What a waste of my time. Get out of my sight you incompetent wretch!

Name: Female Sire
Age: Young Adult
Bio: This is the character's sire (the one that turned them into a vampire), if the playing character is a male. The original game doesn't give very much information about this character, but she should be played very dark and mysterious, but NOT over the top, i.e. “I vant to zuck yo bluuuud”
Voice type: Stern, firm, enigmatic.
Audition line 1: Surprised to see me, my childe [child]?
Audition line 2: Your journey is almost at its end. There’s but one last task you must complete.
Name: Female Mirror Image
Age: Young Adult
Bio: This is the player character's evil twin from bizzaro world. Since this is a metaphysical manifestation of the player character, the mood here can stratify to a really cheesed-off villian-like tone to a calm and together hero type.
Voice type: Very open to suggestion on this matter. Should be a fairly neutral voice, but otherwise a voice would be considered as long as it's pleasing to the ears.
Audition line 1: Yes, I’m you, you fool. Are you that daft? Never mind, you and I ... we need to talk.
Audition line 2: You’ve got more spine in you then I thought. It’ll be a pleasure watching you burn away into a thousand ashes.
Audition line 3: Yes, I know it may be hard to believe but ... I'm you. A different manifestation, but no less yourself. We need to talk about our future.
Audition line4: I didn’t want it to come to this, but I feel you’ve left no choice but for me to defend myself.
