View Full Version : [WANTED] An artist for a game
Hey all! I had recently found the site and posted a request for some VA for a upcoming PC game of mine, (I got those VA's thanks all!!) but now, I'm in need for some character art. The style I need them in would be this:

As you can see, the above example is from Tales of the Abyss. If anyone can do something similar (or even not), and is interested, I can post up stuff you'll need to draw the characters, (descriptions, sprites, dimensions, etc), then you can draw an example and I can choose one.
Anyone interested?

i can draw anime style..:):)
not as great as up but maybe i could give it a shot.but i'm using manual style draw,is it okay?
I'll take anyone, and if theres a lot of volunteers, then I'll judge based on the lineart, texure etc. But yeah ^_^ I'm afraid I can't provide much sooooo can you draw the character art from it's sprite? If yes, then heres the sprite:

The green haired one is the main hero, the red haired one is the main hero in his alternate persona. For example purposes, you can just draw the hero's portrait (green haired, any dimensions you want) and if you need more details, I can give :-P

I can attempt to draw some stuff for you, though I'm not sure how well I can match styles. I'll give it a go though, what sort of deadline do you have?

could you give a more detail,i mean like their face,should i make a significant difference for both(like good boy's face become devilish face).only face but it'll make a lot of different

whoa..good coloring your friend have.i'm not good at digital coloring.i can't even color anything in my compi since i don't have photoshop or stuff.man..why do i become feel so pessimistic now:sweat:sweat
oh ya..can i send the sketch only??since i'm not too good at inking
Well, ultimately, I'm gonna need fully colored, and somewhat professional looking stuff :D (I say somewhat because we're not all pros here including me XD)

Sorry for the late reply. I've decided to hand over all the art to my friend. However if you still want to, I'd still like to see what you've drawn :)

Well, you DID give an open ended deadline, so I wasn't rushing myself, and I mean... myself and another expressed interest. XD;
It's okay though, I completely understand being anxious. :3
Just.. from the experience of an artist... Don't change your mind and take the project from your friend. If you said they could do it, it's kind of... hurtful and insulting to go back on your word. XD;
I'll still finish them and show you though. :3
Yes yes, please do so, i'm really interested in seeing what you guys have drawn!

Awww. I would have loved to try for this. I can draw in that style as I love the tales of... series. I have drawn Genis Sage before from tales of Symphonia http://shinigami-mero-chan.deviantart.com/art/Genis-Sage-66281423 If you ever need anything down though I would be happy to help if I fit the drawing style.

Pretty good man, I saved it in my folder for future refrences! If you don't mind some critique, you should practice more on the faces, (not my pictures face, in general) because it looked "flat" but then I haven't seen any of your drawings except this one haha! Keep at it and you'll be a knock out, espcially for originallity, since your style isn't "anime-ish" but refreshingly different!

If You didn't tell me you drew it, I'd think it was official art from namco! I will definitely contact you if my frined quits or something, since my friend has not done any other drawing for me yet except the one I posted here!!

but i think i'll be able to draw that with my tablet, i'm getting a new art program anyways. ^^
