PRODUCERS NOTES:
This has been in the making for a long time, stemming back to when Mippa and I portrayed Mimi and Wallace in a Digimon RP almost two years ago! It was there I heard her portray Mimi for the first time and knew that I had to do a production alongside her (as Wallace of course)! After months of development and 72 hours of straight mixing, I present to you the complete Drama Dub!
I urge all of you to listen and comment as I know the entire cast would appreciate it.
I just wanna say that I'm so thankful to -finally - be able to share this amazing production with the entire VAA! Enjoy!

Not to sound like a git but can we PLEASE have a download option? Hell I'd personally would love to host this on my podcast site, despite it's flaws 02 still had things in it I could enjoy.
Totally Agree :D and sure, maximum exposure!
I added downloads at the bottom of the page!

Wow ... that has got to be the quickest responce I've EVER had on this forum. Anywho, SERIOUSLY!?! I can host it? Thanks! Only thing is it'll have to be 32kp by the way.
I'm too eager to see responses so :P, and sure you can, as long as credit is given and all that other fun stuff, I want to get as much feedback as possible!
But--uh 32 kp?

Podomatic only lets me have 500mb storage space. Check out my site and you'll see how I've released it. I also include a link to the original thread or to the higher quality version if people prefer that.
EDIT: Got to go, I'll post a reviw later.
I'll be expecting it :P!!!

Man, this is one of the first things I EVER recorded. >.<
It totally is, I was so proud that I was gonna be able to show you off ;-; but now everyone has already heard you and I'm a wannabe producer trying to show off that I got a popular VA in my cast.

Full review coming later but I gotta say that I am really proud to be a part of this production even though I wasn't part of the original cast. I've always wanted to do a Digimon piece and thanks to you I finally got my wish.
You weren't in the my original castlist, but I can't imagine anyone else playing Daisuke.
And I WANT to see that full review, NAG UNTIL I DO!

Soo much love. No time right now, but will definitely edit with a full review! It's about time this came out! *shot*
EDIT:
DAISUKE MOTOMIYA - Gerardo Paz (Gforce)
Definitely a great choice for Daisuke. I'm glad you ended up playing him! It was a lot of fun hearing you go back and forth with Chibimon. x3
MIMI TACHIKAWA - Melissa D Johnson (Mippa)
Overall, a nice job. However, there were quite a few times where I thought you sounded far too fake or valley girl. I know Mimi is girly and all, but there were just some times where...it was overdone. Otherwise, your voice fit really well and emotion was great~
WALLACE - Kei McCarthy (Kei)
SO much better than the dub. Nerdy Wallace drove me crazy. I love the voice you chose for him, and you really send a great feeling while playing Wallace! Lovelove~
CHIBIMON - Emi Lo (Kitsunesqueak)
....It was fun?
GUMIMON - Sasha Schiller (Sachibelle)
That was so...cute. xDD I loved Gumimon's lethargic tone.
NATSU - Vinci Ting (Yukie)
Such a sweet voice! The performance was a bit weak at first (needed a bit more energy methinks), but you definitely got a lot stronger as the rp progressed, though I feel you were missing a little *something* later on. I really enjoyed it though - I just wish your mic was better. D:
Mixing was great, apart from Wallace's voice level. x3 But it was DEFINITELY worth the wait...though next time not as long of a wait would be nice. xDDDD Loved it~ Digimon ftw!
;-; *hugs thee cast* Don't fill me with false hope, I want to see these edits soooon!

That was amazing! I really liked it :D Awesome work everyone. I didn't write too much/feel overly picky with my critique since it was 2 years old, but here I go anyway...
Daisuke - Gforce: Your voice is a different from what I expected, but I think I like it better this way. You captured his character very well.
Mimi - mippa: There were times I thought your voice sounded slightly too deep/matured, but overall you really got Mimi's character down. *clapclap*
Wallace - Kei: At the times you're complimenting Mimi or Natsu, you could've sounded more flirty instead of sounding "admiring." Other than that, you nailed Wallace.
Chibimon - KitsuneSqueak: Your performance was awesome and your voice was really cute! No complaints~!
Gumimon - Sachibelle: YOU SOUND SO CUTE. /DIES
Natsu - yukie: Such a lovely voice~ You could've sounded more enthusiastic when you're first introduced and want Daisuke to play with you, and more desperate/lonely towards the end when you became evil, "Nobody's with me" etc.
Mixing: Some of Wallace's lines sounded too quiet, but 72 hours of mixing sure paid off! Very nicely done.
Ya, consensus says Wallace is too quiet, I was worried more about Chibimon and Gumimon being too quiet ;-; and I ignored myself~ Oh Yingy thank you so much for the critique~~ *loves on*
That was cute, Kei. Decent! LOL, girrrl.
It sounded like a pretty tight cast, and I don't get to hear you va much either. Good work. ^^

To YingFarStar - You really thought my voice was different? Wow, I thought my portrayal of Daisuke was pretty run of the mill in comparison to the original dub.
Full review time or else Kei will get mad and I might never get to play Daisuke again. Ug, I so overacted on some lines.
Daisuke - GForce: You the main character in a huge radioplay for the first time in your life...it shows.
Mimi Tachikawa - Mippa: Ah Mippa, we're in the same cast again I can see why Kei was dead set in getting you to play Mimi. Outside of the microphone puffs, I have a hard time believing that this was your first major role.
Wallace - Kei: I'll admit I was expecting a bit more enthusiasm at first when the character was introduced. I see that you were going for the suave ladykiller type but that restricted your emotional range at first however as the plot reached its climax you really got in the swing of things.
Chibimon - Kitsunesqueak: "Waaaarm" oh my god, I think I felt my heart warm up a few degrees when I heard that line. You were so cute and Chibimon and nailed the character down pat. We should play this pair more often.
Gumimon - Sachibelle: Another cute voice in the cast. Your scenes with Chibimon and Wallace provided some much needed comic relief to the drama. I wish I heard more from you.
Natsu - yukie: I don't any complaints for you as you really played up both the character's sweet and jealous side.
Mixing Mixing was really supurb, the SFX matched the action going on and were of really high quality not to mention great use of the stereo channels. The only critique I have in this area was that in the radioplay there were several parts where characters were supposed to be interrupting each other but the interruption didn't come quick enough.
BUMP.
If you guys like this, be apart of the next drama: http://voiceactingalliance.com/board/showthread.php?t=41476

Man... I love Digimon, both English and Japanese... but I was a much bigger fan of the English. It's a little odd to hear all the Japanese names and stuff being spoken... well in English. Still, good work!

I reallllllly debated using the English names because like you I also adored the dub. I'm glad you were still able to enjoy it.
Uploaded the files to megaupload WITH the 'Insert Booklet' I made to accompany.
RE-Enjoy!

I think the download link is broken for them. THye were both adpation like this one but based on the monologues of Mimi and Kenta from the CDs.
Mimi's monologue (as well as eventuallly Kenta) are being remixed and being released with the other character monologues :]

I totally forgot to comment on this earlier, but your mixing was very nice, Kei.
Honestly I couldn't quite get used to GForce as Daisuke. I'm thinking it's a combination of Daisuke being in an uncharacteristicly moody mood throughout the CD drama, and my predisposition towards the Japanese voices... in other words nothing againts GForce's acting. Maybe once I hear him in a more light-hearted mood it will all click.
:x!! I wondered if you saw this, and I didn't want to be like "HEY LISTEN TO MY 30 MINUTE DUB!"

Hello!
I was looking for some Stuff and suddently I found this! Thats so nice! I liked all actors and also Daisuke!
You made a good job!
Because of this I now try this forum and found it! I hope I will find more nice work!
Thank you so much for not only bumping this production, but for giving it your approval. I'm really happy that you find some excellent productions which I don't think will be too hard considering the talent swarming this place :D

Yay!!! This is so cute, you guys! ^^
I really love GForce's voice for Daisuke, it kind of reminds me of the dub voice for Taichi... : P He does a really great job sounding like an average love-troubled teenage boy XD I really enjoyed your performance, the acting had just the right amount of enthusiasm and energy. *Brings out a tray of holiday cookies for GForce*
It is so nice to hear mippa lately... ;___; I can't believe this was her first project! The acting was great as always, and her voice was so cute. I always wish I could laugh better, mippa does really realistic and cute laughs! Hearing mippa is just really nice because I feel like I can always trust her to deliver all her lines with a bang.
We didn't get to hear too much of Kei, but what you do hear is so cute! ^^ He sounds like a nice, laidback, fun friend but also a bit of a flirt, and I think you pulled off both well! The mixing was great! None of the sound effects seemed out of place, and I like the music selections... : P I especially liked the scene toward the end where Daisuke is trying to calm Natsu down, it was mixed very well. This is a really great project, Kei Kei ^^ Nice job running up the stairs too, LOL.
To be honest, I hardly have heard yukie in any projects really, just singing! I LOVE her voice! It is so soft and sweet and adorable! <3 She really made Natsu very lovable. She had her cute moments and her lonely moments. I'm going to have to say yukie was my favorite voice in this ^^
Kit Kit, it's nice hearing you play higher voices ^^ This was from a couple years ago, so there are some spots where it sounds a little shaky, but you did a great job capturing Chibimon's cute and sometimes bratty character. I just wanted to give you a hug when you told Daisuke that he couldn't be Natsu's owner because you are his partner! <3
Sachibelle is sooo cute here! She really didn't talk much, but whenever she did, her voice was so adorable that you couldn't not like the delivery of her lines XD Sometimes it was a tad hard to understand what she was saying, but I feel like that is probably one of Gumimon's traits.
Great job to all of you! ^^
LOVE, THE NEWLY-DUBBED PINK RANGER ;D Lmao...
