Hey, it's me again. SOOOOOO, I've been inactive and I post rather annoying (or maybe just showy) comments.

The Internet....you see, I've been despising it. Ever since my first visit on the Internet via dial-up, it caused me nothing but trouble. It was very astonishing at first, but I met with the wrong crowd, and it just grew worse for me. I won't get too personal with it since that would be ranting (and this is not the right forum for it IMO). All you need to know is that I'm bitter abotu it and it's unfortunate that the Net is addictive.

Anyways, WHY do you all communicate on the Internet? "Visit" it?

As for the 2nd thing....

2.) VAing online: Why do you do it and how do you feel about it?

I communicate with others on the net because very few people round my area share my interests and so I like to talk about those interests with people who are into them.

VAing is a hobby for me pure and simple. I take it seriously if I get a role but in the end it's all just for fun.

Oh and btw glad you cam back^^(though if I'm honest I don't remember you at all but you've a cool name)

1. Because it's where all the people who matter to me are. <3 Offline, aside from my family, I don't really have anyone I feel that way about. :\

2. I don't VA much of the time. I produce clips with other VAs. How do I feel about it? I feel I can vastly improve upon my technique with every clip I do.

TALI: I see; notably I make comments about you people's work msot of the time I'm here. Especially if they're on Inuyasha, Naruto and Final Fantasy, ANNNND Megaman.

Mattt/TamTu~ .... [s:cd2bb677bc]I guess I can't ask for therapy.[/s:cd2bb677bc]

FIONA: I guess when you VA for others and get critisized, you do get inspired to improve.

haha. seriously now.

1: i'm on the computer most of the time, if not the whole time for school work, work, or recently, FFXI >D. Having broadband keeps me connected 24/7, plus, I like the communication with the people I know.

2: Creative release. Fun. Although the latter only comes from my own projects and very few of others.

Oh. *runs off*

Ha. Anyway...

1. A few of my friends and people I've grown to care about are online. 'Nuff said. ^.~ Nah. That, and the fact that I write, do artwork, etc., online/offline. I enjoy using the computer in general.

2. I started it for no real reason. I hardly do it now due to a severe drop in time, but when I do, it's for fun, mainly.

Why do I go on the Internet?

Well, at first, it was curiosity. The net had just started. I was able to talk to complete strangers, a feat I'm not so good at in the flesh. I could send emails, send messages through AIM or ICQ. I ran into fanfiction, and loved reading all the various ideas of follow up stories to my favorite games, movies, books, certain Broadway shows. Then I began to grasp how to search the Internet for information with sites like Yahoo and Google. It was a handy tool for just about anything I wanted to learn about. Then came mp3s. Being able to hear a song without having to shell out money I didn't have for an album I only liked a single track from, or that wasn't available in the US. And text based games, like MUDs and MOOs. I loved playing those, right through my first few years of college. They helped me to type faster. Then came blogging and message boards. I was able to write and vent about goings on in my life, and be in a community of fans for a common thing, like a convention or a movie or a hobby. There was also online dating, sites that helped me to meet people in real life. Even if the relationships didn't work out or only stayed at friendship, I was glad to have that, given my difficulty meeting people in person. And this brings me to here, the online amatuer voice acting. I can record and submit my voice for singing or for a production without having to live in the same place.

With all that, the Internet has become rather essential in my life. Not a day goes by that I'm not checking an email or message board, looking at blogs or fanfiction, or talking with friends online in some fashion. To have it severed would take away a lot of people I know and love, hobbies I enjoy, memories I've saved, and information I've needed.

Now, you ask why I voice act?

Well, I honestly have only done so much of it. But when I do voice act, it's because I enjoy being a part of something like that. To make the effort to get out those convincing lines, be they funny or serious, and smile upon hearing the final product come together and seeing others hopefully enjoying it too. But it's never so simple. Everyone has their 'director's vision', and sometimes you can't help not suiting that, especially in terms of technical quality, cause that involves investing money, sometimes a lot of it. Which is part of why I've been hesitant to audition. Most of what I've been in has been through producers I know as friends. Like in the real world of acting, it helps to develop those sort of connections.

1. I don't even remember why I first got online. I think my family got it, and I used it mainly for schoolwork until I found out the wonders that are ORGs (online reality games). After that I slowly moved into Voice Acting, and have been addicted ever since. I really talk to a lot more people online, because Im not a very popular person out here in Wisconsin, so yeah.

2. Voice Acting, why not voice act. Sure I want to pursue a career, but this is so much fun. Getting critiques helps me so much, and I just really want to become a good VA. It keeps my mind off of things too, which is nice.

1. I got online because all the other people in my school were, and I wanted to talk to people who'd understand me...XD;;

2. Its my passion. I love it. Go download "Merry Christmas Anii-chan" in the Shorts and Samplers. >D

XDDD Me me me turn!!

1. I got online first off two years ago because I wanted to talk to guys online and spite my parents. Ah, how I've changed since then. Now I get on simply to voice act and mingle with my fellow AVAs, dubbed my second "family". I have my family, my few friends IRL, and you guys. ^-^ Plus there's some guys at my school that I like to hang around with because they're nice. ^-^ YOU ARE MY ONLINE PURPOSE!!

2. Voice acting? Voice acting, you say?!?! I LOVE voice acting. All too much. My mom gets angry sometimes because that's all I want to do, is voice act. (Besides hang with my friends.) Someday, I want to be professional. It is my goal, and my dream, and my pride and joy. LOVE IT!!!
