I've casted Hachi but i am still desperate for Kaede! Kaede has a much bigger role than Hachi does in the movie dub, so i'm begging you all to audition! I'd get down on my hands and knees if that's what it takes... not that you'd be able to see it lol. Please can you audition for Kaede, even if you don't know if you could do it or not, at least you would've tried! And don't forget that ppl already casted for this movie dub are free to audition too! I've extended this for a further 7 days.

Pronounciation: K-eye-Ay-day

Kaede is Kikyou's younger sister, despite being 60 years old. Kikyou
was killed by Naraku years ago but revived recently, thus Kikyou remaining
young. Kaede had taken Kikyou's place as the Preistess of her village
after she died. She has spirtiual powers and treats Kagome just like
a younger sister. Kaede is very wise helps and guide Inuyasha and Kagome to find and protect the Shikon Shards.
Kaede must have an elderly woman's voice.

Hachi a is a close friend of Miroku. Hachi has the ability to transform
himself into different forms. These forms are not very powerful, but
still serve Miroku through thick and thin. Hachi is almost always
rewarded in some way for his services.
In the Japanese version of the show, Hachi is actually a Tanuki demon,
not a racoon demon. A tanuki is an mammal native to Japan that looks
like a cross between a dog and raccoon. Since very few people in the
US know what a tanuki is, Hachi was changed to a racoon demon for the
US release.
Hachi pretty much praises Miroku, and refers to him as Miroku no Danna.
