Anime Cons In Alberta

Hey! I'm looking to meet up with cosplayers. I know of Animethon in Edmonton and another in Calgary (I forget the name) but yeah if anyone here will be attending either...
Also...another reason for this post is to see if anyone would like to do a group Malice Mizer/Moi dix Mois cosplay with me. I'm determined to do a Mana cosplay and I figured it would be cool do find others who'd cosplay with me...

Just an update about Animethon 12 guys, in case you didn't know yet...

1) I suggest you all book rooms at the Holiday Inn Express if you don't live in Edmonton. You get a discount if you mention Animethon ($70 a room) and there's going to be karaoke, dance, and anime playing on Friday, August 5th, with Animethon following on the Saturday and Sunday of 6th and 7th.

2) The AMV contest rules and submissions are up so if you are interested in entering a music video please do so =D

3) Mark wants us to host an AVA panel. I can't this year, but I was thinking if I can get at least 2 other AVA's to help me out, then we can create a decent one for animethon 13.

I agree, we need to hype up the AVA world in Alberta. Maybe if we got permission to advertise the VAA at Animethon XII we'd get a little bit more interest.
