Ok so here's the deal.

Today I got a nice e-mail from the people over at Urban Vision Entertainment ( http://www.urban-vision.com/ ). They are the people who're responsible for the release of VHD: Bloodlust. In a nutshell, it said:

"Stop your dub or we're gonna sue your ass."

So I've had to cancel this. Sorry guys, but I really don't want to risk being sued, I'm sure you lot understand, I'll pick up something else soon <3

OMG! I just realized something! If you do the song 'Tokuu Made' by Do As Infinity (since it is the movie's theme) can I try out for it? It is a song sung by a main singer two or three girls. It would be really awesome to add to your movie. I don't have the karaoke for it but I could try finding it for you! X3

By the way, it's "New Brandon," because I believe there are two Brandons on these boards... I think I used my last name when I auditioned and then I realized everyone here uses nicks. And no, I don't use it because of that. I've had the nickname for a while. It comes from a bad dub.

Anyway, I'm assuming you mean me, because I seem to be the only Brandon who auditioned.

Lastly, I don't have my audition files anymore (which is weird, because I have everything else I've done)... Whoops! But I remember the voice.

Ehhhh... that's a problem with dubbing things that are already licensed =\ I was going to suggest you possibly doing just clips, but I can certainly understand shutting down the production. You can always do a fanfic rp or something else. Good luck on future projects. =]

Actually, ya know what? They really can't do anything against you or us as long as we aren't selling this or changing the dialogue. I could be wrong, and someone please correct me if I am, but they should be ble to do this if any of the other fandubs were successful.

I can understand doing the whole movie and they sue you....but like you don't make money off it....your not forcing it down someones throat....nor are people paying for it....but hey its america right? You give me a strange look and I get to sue you for something cause I had nightmares of it causing me to seek therapy...

I don't see harm in doing impersoninations or doing these as helping you land a job in VA'ing but...heh wha do I know?

A few ways of dicovering illegal products are simple, websites, random chance, hell even a single pissed off person can turn you in just by emailing the liscened provider a link or some sort of material which suggests its infringment.

Alot of Bit Torrent sites get hit by both employee's looking at websites, and pissed off people sending in the link....

I admit alot of the stuff we all do here is liscened product, and some of us do "whole" episodes which we really shouldn't....but alot of us span it off to the web in low quality to be fair. I admit, a few things I wanna do are available for purchase by the original holder...but if anyone wants to get into the bussniess I can't see where it hurts picking a role you like and voicing it the best you can...I mean look at katie she can't get enough :P no she can't noooooooooooooooo she can't! :P
