Okay. I am almost done with a Hare nochi Guu fan dub but there are sound effects I need.
Is there anyway of ripping sound FX from a video clip?
EDIT: I've tried and I guess I am not doing it right....
Can someone help me in the sense of ripping them for me?
What I would do is to use Media Converter (I think everyone knows the site) and just pick a audio-only file extension (.mp3, for example) to convert the video in.
Then, use Audition to locate the SFX needed, mix it down and BAM! You got it.

You could try a very cool plugin called Freecorder. Then, search vids on youtube or any other site of the sort and rip to your heart's content.

If you're able to select recording input you can also use Audacity to record the Wave output. Or get a cable to connect headphone output to mic input.

Well when I rip the audio off a video. I load up the vid on VirtualDub. Then go File > Save as WAV and poofers I have my ripped audio.o_o;; Then I just load up the WAV in Audacity and single out the stuff I want. Hope this helps?
