Damn girl, this is so friggin' sweet! The music selections fit perfectly, and the other actors were awesome. I have to say, Tolmek kicks some ass as Alfred. And I couldn't even tell that was Akerin at first. Some of the action scenes seemed a little slow, but everything else more than made up for it. Tumbs up girlie.

^____^"" Thank You so much, I spent a long time on finding music.

As for the fight scenes...yeah I hate fight scenes in RPs they're so hard to do. *shakes fist* DAMN YOU BATMAN WHY MUST YOU ALWAYS BE KICKING PEOPLE'S BUTTS!?

Tee hee!

The story hasn't been doing much for me, but the production sounds awesome! Great job! Ydoc & Tolmek were amazing. (Everybody was great, but these two stand out, really filling out their respective roles.) Sound effects are kinda cheesy at points, but overall a very professionalish production. Props to Batgirl and the BNML cast for makin' it happen! :D

Nice production.
I need to start using the noise reduction on my clips, before I turn them in.

Listen to the piece before you read. Spoilers! :P

Thoughts:

Listen to the piece before you read. Spoilers! :P

Tolmek ----------- Penguin
I was impressed. Great job of bringing off a polished connoisseur.
(Also, please refer to my comments on U-1's Garret)

Tolmek ----------- Alfred
I'll admit, not quite what I had in mind for Alfred Pennyworth, but it came off all right. I guess I'm still used to the older (and more gravelly sounding) Alfred idea. Still, good job of staying in character. Harmless old coot indeed! :D

U-1 ---------------- Garret
OMGosh! That inflection rocked! I laughed so hard I almost WET myself! You and Tolmek MADE that scene. Yes, noise reduction would be good, but man that sounded so believable. :D

Akerin ------------- Fowler
It came off well. Nothing remarkably impressive, but I liked the mid-level corporate villain attitude. Good job for (to my knowledge) staying in character and moving the plot forward.

Zero --------------- Murphy
No worries, you have kudos, of course. :)

Ydoc Nameloc - Batman
It's all about inflection. Good job for the remedial (fill in) lines. What this shows me (and should show everyone, really) is that a good microphone helps, but it's worthless without the acting. The dry wit with Alfred, the salutation to Lucius, the report with Matt, and even pieces of the deep brooding are what really sold me on how well you did. I don't know how Laura is directing you, but my personal taste is that Bruce Wayne would be that he speak with a higher pitch. I won't argue the point if she says otherwise. That said, I feel that the way those lines were handled was just as good (because of the acting), higher pitch or no.

Topleka ---------- Politician
Believable and noteworthy, as usual. :)

Hisoka ----------- Lucius
Short, but believable. Hopefully we'll get to hear more of you soon. :)

MissCar ---------- Xhosa
Hm...interesting. Convincing. :)

Rogue ------------ Matt
Flat out, that was good -- inflection, timing, and acting. Man, I was sold! 8)

Batgirl ------------ The Mixer
Small nitpicks first! :D
Volume difference between Matt and Batman. Also, the 'old-style Batman television show scene change stuff' at the end kind of confused me. It wasn't bad, but it was kind of...abrupt.

The good stuff!
Timing of Garret/Penguin scene
Timing of Matt/Batman scene
(also BGM for the above scene. Of course, I've never heard it before, but it seemed to fit great)
Beautiful timing for the 'Bridge Confrontation' when Batman shows up (including footsteps). And, let us not forget, "I LOVE "DEATH ON THE SNOWFIELD!"" :D

Comments:
Absolutely, this episode was a success! You all (and I do mean EVERYONE) did a great job. I was kind of sad that I wasn't in this episode, but let me tell you, being able to listen to the concentrated talent here more than made up for it. Many kudos and thanks ( and root beer and sandwiches :D ) go out to you guys!

Keep safe, everyone. 8)

Ridgewolf: Hmm I didn't hear the Matt/Batman sound difference, I'll try to be more attentive last time. ><

As for the old music... ^^' I sat there for about an hour debating on whether to put it in or not. I even had two versions of the scene, with it and without it. The thing about it was, that scene in the book I distinctly remembered made me laugh.

The sort of "reasoning" behind the music, was to 1) be funny (on some levels, I didn't expect everyone to be like LMAO OMFG LOLOLOLOL!) and 2) To get an idea of how TOTALLY FRICKIN AWESOME it would feel to be saved by Batman. I think of the music as being more in Matt's head than actually emoted in the scene itself... its complicated.

What made me make my decision was, "It makes me laugh. It's my Radio Play. To hell with them if they don't like it. LoL"

I figured with all the dark and angst and brooding we needed a little pick me up.

Now I'm all excited about Episode 5... which is...pretty much another monolouge *sigh*

awww, but monologues are so fun!

I'm glad you guys enjoyed my portrayal of Batman. This is one of the roles I'm most happy to have had in my 3 years here. It's really loads of fun.

Wow, great production. n.n Couldn't tell that was Ydoc at all, and I didn't realize Tolmek was so talented (I've only heard him in Mill's SM productions as random minor characters). I really liked Garret's voice, also. He sounded like a big old doof, yet kinda sexy. *wink* Fowler x Garret yaoi. The rest of the cast did a great job, too. I can't think of anyone that I didn't like, and believe me, you'd know if I did.

Keep 'em coming! :)

I'm kinda bab about remembering to review these. ^_^;; These are all great! Eps. 0-4! I'm loving every minute of it. There were a few timing things that bothered me, but they were minute. Now let's get to Ep. 5! I think you should get back to one ep. every 2 weeks. ^_^

Kalikan's Rating
9.8 out of 10

Holy crap...who was that in Episode 1 doing Joker? That was so close to Hamill's version, it was scary! Props to whoever that was... :D

That would be me, Ruk. "Joker here, the clown prince of crime, ready to bring the Dork Knight to his knees! ahahahahahahhaaha"

Anyway, as always Batgirl, good work.

I'm gonna feel sad when it finally does become my turn again in this....cuz I won't be half as good as your 'seasoned pros' by that time. ^__^

i enjoyed ep4.

voice wise, i wasnt too fond of the Penguin's voice. but thats prolly how Laura saw the Penguin i guess. i though Tolmek's Alfred stood out the most, perfect. everyone else filled in their roles great as well.

fx wise, i wouldnt mind seeing variations in footsteps, it seems as though the characters are hobbling along with the slow pace of the steps instead of norrmal walking. just my take on it.

anyway, as a cast member and Batman fan, im always happy to see this rp still alive and strong. cant wait til i get to be in it. lol i cant even remember who i voice

This series was a classic the moment the first episode came out.

I can't get enough of your Batman voice, Cody. Awesome.

Sorry to dredge up the ancient past, but I was cut off from the internet for a couple of weeks.

Two things I wanted to say about episode 4...

First, this production continues to amaze me. I'm always excited when there's a new episode available. Great job to all involved, and especially Batgirl for putting it together so well.

Second... good heavens, people. I'm blushing here. Seriously. Thank you for the very kind words about my performance.
