The following are some of the characteristic of genre I'm looking for:

Omg. Here's an idea:
Change the topic title to "[AVAILABLE] Flash Artist!"
That seems more suitable and will attract a lot of folks... like me. >>;
With that said, would it be easier to give you an audio file of an all ready done story? I have a radioplay that I would looooooooove to have animated-- and it's comedy only. D:

I have to say... I was all over it... until I saw your grammar/spelling. x__X No offence... but it's difficult working with someone when you can't take them seriously because of how they spell.
What if I submitted a script to you in that format? With little stage direction and so forth? I bet you'd be pretty annoyed.
Just my two cents.

I agree with Tink. It's really difficult to take someone seriously when their grammar and spelling is so off. Even people with English as their second language can spell 'you're'. ;D
Just a thought. :)

Many good cartoonists can't. They have their fans as editors, after the fact. I've worked with Haizeel, and his animation is quite good. And he's signing up to be a flash artist, not a writer. Don't let the spelling put you off.

I agree with Tink.
I don't know, I thought that was kind of harsh considering he's making an effort (and seems to know where he wants to go). It's one thing to point out his incorrect grammar but don't mock him for it. The VAA is full of nice people, let's not turn it into Gaia Online's General Discussion Forum. xP
EDIT: I agree with everything Russ stated as well.

The thing is, it can be difficult to take certain people seriously when their grammar and spelling are off, it tends to show through in other areas, showing a bit of...lack in maturity, if you will. However, if you've worked with him before and know that he's talented, then that's all I need to know. ^^
It wasn't harsh, Voicebox, I was never mocking him, I was simply stating a point. That's just how it is on the interwebs.

I don't mean to poke fun at anyone... or to be harsh. But I am being truthful. And it doesn't matter what line of work you go into. You need a basis language that you can spell in and the instant you use chatspeak with any given person you're working with, trust me... they won't want to work with you.
It doesn't matter if you're the best artist in the world. Show me one very famous artist in history who was completely illiterate. (Who didn't speak more than one language or have something hindering them. This person seems fully able to comprehend proper English if they're using chatspeak so freely... which quite frankly, leaves me even more frustrated.) All of the very best where highly educated elite people who worked for higher up families who were able to take their art work seriously enough to commission them.
Resumes? Cover letters? All communication? Want to avoid miscommunication and find work in the real world? Spell properly.
I, myself in having sought out companies (as I'm putting together a pitch) have turned down anyone offering to work with me if they didn't at least make an effort to win over my commissioning.
Again, not trying to be harsh. Trying to be HELPFUL.

Sry if I made some grammar mistake. English my 2nd language out of THREE. I've seen far more mistake made by some other people as well, but I guess most the community there doesn't really care much as you did.
That ain't a bad thing either. Please check out some of my flash if you have the spare time, or check out my art at Deviantart.

It was a hostile approach. No one will take your advice if you attack them like that. That's all I'm saying, so chill. There's no need to bust out random examples or deliver life lessons. I don't care about any of that fun stuff. Save it for when you become an English teacher. Not everyone is fortunate to be as literate as you.

It's not so much your grammar either, hon. It's your spelling. "Sry" isn't spelled that way. It's "sorry". You're not speaking English. You're dabbling in a gibberish downgraded version of our language.
Now, if you're speaking three languages, wouldn't it be in your best interest to be spelling properly so you can have people correct you and keep improving? You become fluent that way. I say this because I am learning four languages other than my own. Yes, my first language is English...
But I had a friend who had English as a second language and was dyslexic. She couldn't spell until she was 11. Even still, she couldn't spell WELL until she was 16. But I know the difference between chatspeak and just bad spelling. Why don't you do yourself a favour? Drop the habit. You'll do better for yourself in the long run. Trust me.
EDIT: VoiceBox, life lessons... are for LIFE. They actually mean something and I wish you saw it that way. I don't want to be an English teacher. I hate our school system... and obviously, you guys being a product of it are just proving my point. You aren't taking a LIFE LESSON seriously?
I don't mean to be hostile. But I say this also because communication is such an important thing. Without it, what do we have? I leave that as a thought for you.

Ok, so the bottom line is you won't be writing any script for me. Fair enough.

Fantastic, you found a loophole in one of my sentences! Thank you for assuming that I'm lower than you and part of a failed educational system! Yay, awesome! I'm well aware of "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer in literacy skills" theory. But how about this one: me g2g now becuz sum1 iz actin vry b!tch like. Did you understand that?! Good, because that's all that matters! ^^
EDIT: Oh, not trying to be hostile or anything! I'm just being "truthful" because after all "that's how things are on the interweb". :D

Wow. I'm sorry, akoRn... but I think you missed my point completely. I didn't say I wouldn't script for you, did I? I said you will have more people raring to work with you if you at least make an effort to type properly. Speaking of which, thanks for typing properly in your last post. It shows that you're not completely unreasonable. =) Maturity is good.
And VoiceBox? XD Dude? I just gained some respect for you. Seriously? Wow. What a backbone. I'd say 'I love you' but I think you'd assume I'm some sort of creepy stalker. Still, we're all victims of a failed education system in the world. XD Not talking statistics or anything... but education is something people approach the wrong way. Just my opinion.
Oh! And thanks for emulating me! Wow! What maturity! What grace! =D =D
Don't do it again. v__v
EDIT: Ok. You know what? Mochan has showed us the way. XD I'll back off. Glad my advice means something to SOMEBODY. My point has also been made. =) So I'm good. Topic dropped. Advice given. Take it or leave it.

Voicebox, don't be bitter. XD Text can be misconstrued all the time, which is why it's important to use proper grammar and spelling. I admit, I may have gone a bit far, but my point was obviously made. I don't doubt his animation skills, I just think it would be a good idea for people who are looking to enlist services to be able to enlist in a positive light. Does that make sense?
My apologies if I came off rude. I wish you the best of luck, AkoRn.

Umm, alright. I'm trying to improve myself in any way I can. Everyone has their own weakness, it just a matter of whether you want to improve yourself or not.
For now, I just to improve on my animation & art.
EDIT: Not at all Mochan, you did proved your point. And thanks.

If that's the case, hon. =) I would love to work with you... if you can handle my coming down on you for spelling.
But I'm always looking to improve too. ^__^ You can also ask anyone I work with. I have tons of scripts... and I'm a fairly timely producer/director with semi-decent mixing.

Well, if you can't take the audio file... I guess I could give you the script, vocal files, and the music. Is that okay?

I'll check it out later, Tinker. After I return from school to be exact, I'm using my school's computer.
Please and thank you, Sapphire!
