Well, it's done. Hours of editing later, my commercial demo is done. There will actually be a 'corperate version' (just under a minute) of this, which I might ask Tamtu to upload, but this is the version I feel communicates my 'artistic vision' the best.
The Demo can be downloaded at the following URL: http://www.voiceacting.co.uk/lucien/lucien-dodge_commercial-demo.mp3

Any comments and critiques are strongly welcomed.

Special thanks to
Tamtu Bui for hosting
Damian Dodge for original compositions
Masahiko for the Applebees and Streets of L.A. music
Ishtar (Alyx) for the Spirited Away music
Corey Burton for advisement

Mm.. what can I say about this that I haven't already said to you last night? It was really wonderful.. my favorite clip was the True Crime: Streets of L.A. advertisement. I also thought your Applebee's advertisement was really nice, but overall, I really do think the whole thing is awesome.. I'm really happy and proud of you for getting this completed. ^.^ I already told you about that audio quality issue towards the end, but that's nothing too serious- doesn't really take away from the demo.

Anyway, yeah.. Great job. <3

That was really nice though the qualtiy in that Spirted Away audio could have been better.

Nice clip, Lucien. Really well structured. Did you mix this? The bgm and sounds were perfect (and melted together especially in the Applebees snippet), so you were complimented really well. The quality in the Chihiro line and abrupt lowering of volume right after that caught me off guard and distracted me from what you said right after. Your performances were flawless, however, and I hope this demo proves useful to you in the future. (I don't think it shows the slightest portion of your range, but this clip is suppose to serve a different purpose, right?) Good luck!

ahh.. yeah, that was the best! I loved the game one, and while the Spirited Away one was good, that clip from the actual show really sorta craps it out. Maybe it'd work if you can do a bit of fade work to make a better transition.

Otherwise, they were all wonderful and I'm poud of the work you've done. I think it's an excellent commercial demo.

Hahaha, I'm used to listening to audio commercials ^_^ Awesome job, Lucien. I hope hear some of your work on the national ads during sports events and syndicated radio talk shows ^^ You've got the perfect voice for it!

I really liked it, although I do agree that the clip of Chihiro needs to be intergrated better.
but seriously dude you rule!

Great job =) Congrats on getting this deep into things, Lucien. It seems like you're making an excellent start to this dream career! This reel was very enjoyable to listen to, and the only way I believe it could be improved (if at all) is by the different clips 'flowing' into one another a little more seamlessly. You do have a great voice for this kind of thing, though, and I guess that's the most important thing when establishing yourself in such a profession =)

Well done, Lucien! You have a great voice for this. I hope to start recognizing your voice on commercials everywhere :)

Wow, Corey Burton? You were advised by the Corey Burton? He's like one of my favorite VAs. That's so cool.
