I hope there isn't a rule that says posting sound effects resources can't include those for sale, because free stuff usually lacks a pro sound quality.
While this is far from the price range of Sound Ideas (where it's at least $500 a bundle), the following features some hard-to-get sound effects (like authentic gunfire) for a reasonable price, all recorded in high-quality stereo.

A benefit of this is that you can use it in commercial productions, meaning you'll have license to use these sounds in shows you want to sell.
If you're not looking to pay for sound effects that deliver a certain quality, then I'm sure you already know about all the freebie sites out there anyway. If you're not doing a project commercially, then go ahead with sites like the Podsafe network for music and the low-fi Sound Dogs stuff. But those bases have been covered.
