Hi! Well... I have been sitting on this for quite some time, and figure with the holidays (and hopefully some extra time for me) coming up... now was as good a time as any to post for auditions.
Base Story:
It's vampires, witches, and dragons... past lives (well 2)... romance, action, drama, and hopefully some comedy.
Nadia, who recently learned of her special mystical powers, has a past life which she knows nothing about; however, the past can not stay hidden forever. When Tristan finds her and awakens her past memories, all hell breaks loose and could mean the end of the world. Can love save the world? (cheesy... :p) Can past rivalries be put aside for the greater good? Will the darkness win? Wait and see...
*a few of these roles are already casted... this project is probably about a year and a half or more over due, and the roles casted were done so from the very beginning, but no fear... there are plenty of roles currently open and more to come.
Currently casting for the first 3 eps
Guidelines (please read this... it is important):
1) record all lines for your character and label as Yourname_charactername_line#.mp3 (I will accept *only* mp3 - sorry)
2) You may audition for as many characters as you'd like, and can do as many different takes and styles for those characters as you want.
3) zip all audition files as Yourname_Original.zip and make sure to include a txt file which lists your name and e-mail address.
4) send audition to alyxva@hotmail.com (if I don't confirm or place your name on the received list by at least a week after sending, then resend)
5) DEADLINE closed
Characters and Lines:
Nadia/Marina (f): Casted to Ishtar
Orin (m): Casted to Lucien
Tristan (m): Tristan is Marina's lover from the past. He's been alive for quite some time since he's a vampire, and when she appears again as Nadia, his world is sent for a spin. He's ultimately a good guy... though he can be serious and violent when necessary.
Appearance and voice type: Tristan is of standard height and weight. He's pale (vampire :p) but not distractingly so. He's got black hair with silver stripped bangs, violet eyes with blue circlets, and often dresses rather suave. His voice should be medium, and shouldn't sound evil... though he can sound mean and angry no doubt.
CASTED - Naraku
Jonathan (m): He's Nadia's friend, and while he's got quite a crush on her... he knows his place. He's often the fun, happy going one... but he's also got a good head on his shoulders. He's human, or is he? ^_~
Appearance and voice type: Jon is fairly tall and slender, with a slight bit of muscel. He's got loose (floppy-hard to explain) midnight black hair and blue-green eyes. His voice should be medium - and have a friendly sound to it
CASTED - tommy mordecai
Lorna (f): Lorna is another of Nadia's good friends. She's bubbly and cute but she's not a total airhead. She's overly interested in Nadia's abilities and is always investigating some mystery or other. Sometimes, it seems that the more trouble she can get into, the better... She's human; for a while.
Appearance and voice type: Lorna has blonde bobish hair and crystal blue eyes. She'd look like the typical cheerleader... and while she's bubbly, she's not your typical cheerleader. Her voice should be medium-high to medium, and should have lots of energy.
CASTED - Azure
Cash (m): Cash is a vampire, and while he's a little brainless sometimes, most of the time he's suave, cool, and a pure ladies man. Still, he's got a bit of a childish side which comes out when he's around his friends. He's a good guy for the most part, though his side really is with Orin no matter what the situation. He's got a thing for Lorna...
Appearance and voice type: Blonde sporty hair and amber eyes. He's got a lot of muscle and is fairly tall, but he isn't stocky. His voice should be medium to medium-low.
CASTED - Tom
Corrine (f): Corrine is also a vampire. She's pure sex in heals... yet she's got her less serious side. She is also in league with Orin, but her true loyalties are unknown. She's usually arguing with Cash, like a sister would with a brother.
Appearance and voice type: She's got long everything... long legs, long black hair, long lashes... the works. Her eyes are shocking violet. She'd look like the evil seductress if it weren't for the kind look she often has on her face. Her voice should be sexy, calm for the most part, and medium to medium-low... maybe even low if it can sound not so evil.
CASTED - Rikka
Keiles (m): He first appears to be your average guy... cute as all hell, yet doesn't act too conceited about it, though he obviously knows it. Then, things change, and he becomes cold and hateful. He's a dragon, and he's got a love/hate thing for Marina/Nadia. And like Nadia, he's got a past life that at first he doesn't remember. He's the bad guy more or less.
Appearance and voice type: average build and average height. He's got short, stylish silver hair, and dark (almost black) eyes. He should have a medium voice, which can get extremely deep when he's a dragon. He should also be able to sound like an average guy at one point, then turn and have a lower evil voice.
CASTED - TamTu Bui
Anya (f): She looks young, but it a rather old witch. She is the head of a coven which trains Nadia. She has a feeling about Nadia, and tries to protect her from the future that is set for her.
Appearance and voice type: Extremely long blonde hair and pale blue eyes... she's petite and looks fairly childish, but the way she holds herself can give away her true age. Her voice should be medium-high and slightly childish, but she should always sound calm and have an air of age and wisdom.
CASTED - Kate
Luna (f): She looks almost exactly like Anya, only a bit older. She is Anya's younger sister though... who falls into evil hands
