Howdy.

This is what happens when I have a while to go before I have to go off to work, and I'm bored.

A short monologue taken from the comic book Johnny, The Homocidal Maniac by Jhonen Vasquez(yes, the guy that did Invader ZIM). It's only a minute long.

My first monologue... infact, my first production at all. Hopefully I didn't screw up too badly!

(The song in the background is the intro to Shinedown's "45," where I dropped out the voice and looped.)

Getting off to an interesting start there.

Your slightly basey, what sort of mixer are you using on the output of your mic? What type of mic are you using for that matter? No poping so that's good.

on the whole not too bad, anxty..... but not too bad.

What mic do you use and how is it hooked up to your computer. I think you might be loosing a chunk of your audio signal.

Clear as mud? Good, I aim to be oblique :)

The mic I'm using is some random, bargain-bin microphone I've had for years. And it's a traditional microphone that plugs into the designated plug on my computer.

I'm planning up upgrading to a better, preferablly USB microphone sometime soon.

Hmmm might be a plan, the responce on it isn't doing your voice justice. I mean it's ok, but mp3 carves top and base off the signal anyway. If your mics main responce is in that area your going to be loosing a lot more of your signal when it's compressed. Potentially. :)
