Background:
Hey yall. It's my second voice acting movie and my second time really posting on the boards. Since I got a huge reply and great help from our last movie, I wanted to come back and maybe get some new people for the new characters.
The movie project before this was A Mindless Time. A few of your fellow VAAers were casted. I'll let themselves praise if they care to. It had over 20,000 downloads (last time I checked) before our host decided to take it down. So I guess you could say it was a huge hit. And we had fun making it.
What Last March is, is an animation, sotospeak, using Photoshop "sprite" characters and backgrounds and dumped into After Effects for animation. Many people described it as watching a SNES game cut-scene. So with this movie we're going to try to step back from that a bit.
Story:
With Lady Elimina dead, the end of the world nearing, and the Riders of Chaos scratching their heads trying to figure out what to do, the Dark Hoods run amok in the city of Thais. A dark conspiracy brings the townsfolk and waring gangs together to try and stop the evil that plagues their world. Finally the people of Tibia find out what really lies beyond the Zyk River in the Plains of Havoc. . . And a strange light shines from the south to aid in the darkness.
Cast: (in order of appearance)
Garen: (Male - 25-30) ------------DONE---------------
Winston's right-hand man. Member of the Riders of Chaos (or The Scum Guild). All of the members of Riders of Chaos have a US Southern accent. Rugged, dirty bum with gold on his mind and greed in his heart. Hopefully Matt will take this role again as he did in the last movie...hopefully...Matt? Yesh?
GAREN : Mornin', Winston...man...you look like scraw.
GAREN : I still say we go to the Plains of Havoc. It is where the storm is coming from.
Winston: (Male - 20-25)
Non-official leader of the Riders of Chaos. This role I'm playing...but I put it here just for refrence.
Jhack: (Male - 30-40)
Winston's left-hand man. Member of the Riders of Chaos. US Southern Accent. The only thing on his mind is getting into a bar brawl or knocking some heads in a head-to-head guild battle. A really rough man who's grumpy and looking for a fight. Again, another VAA actor willing to play this character again...Bryan? Yay? Nay?
JHACK : Yea, yea. At least I gots my own room.
JHACK : HELL NO! I ain't no carpet.
Mattes: (Male - 25-30)
A strange outsider who claims he's a Crimson Blade, a renouned and well-respected group of elite warriors who are sent from town to town to settle government disputes. He's in the search for a dark cloud but he never expected an entire land to be covered in a vile tempest. A hero with a very sarcastic sense of humor and secretly seems to know everything that's going on.
MATTES : You…haven’t seen any around here…have you?
MATTES : Strange hospitality here in Tibia…
Karth: (?? - ??)
A Dark Hook with sinister plans but is merely a pawn to the true evil behind the storm curtain. Another role I'll play.
King Tibianus: (pronounced "Tib - ee - anne - us".....Male - 30-50)
A distant relative to the founder of Tibia. As the population evolved, so did the growing greed inside the royalty of the city. Each king was more greedy and cared less about the well-being of his populous. Taxes drive this man's blood. But when an evil threatenes even his keep, he has a life-changing epiphany that could change the entire city. A powerful voice but with a slight sleezy tone. If a car salesman lived in a castle....
KING : If it weren’t for your hive this place would be a lot cleaner too!
KING : Leave some men in the towers in case things go wrong.
General Gepoe: (Male - 30-40)
A big and bellowing voice. He leads the guards of Tibia and the troops of footmen. He's usually right beside King Tibianus at every decision. Very traditional and disciplined in his ways.
GEPOE : Halt thine wretched tongue!
GEPOE : What do you wish, your highness?
Various Peasants:
Come one, come all...Kids, women, cats and dogs!
PEASANT : We’re coming too!
Scout: (Male - 10-20)
Just a kid who's delivered his last message. This mission wasn't for him.
SCOUT : A-wall-sir…A-wall…..wall-of…..bones.
Jhotes Nonrev the Dark Dragon: (??Male?? - ??)
Once an average fisherman from a distant island but some eerie stones found on a trip back home melted his skin and turned him into the mutated dragon-like creature he is. If you could pull off a really demonic and snake-like voice, the role is yours.
JHOTES : I hear you’re the thorn in my paw.
JHOTES : As you can see, I’ve brought a friend…
(Also, an evil laugh couldn't hurt.)
