[book] The Last Unicorn- Schmendrick CASTED

What?! Crys is attempting to do another clip?! *gasp* But she's supposed to have dropped off the face of the earth... Well, not quite. ^_^

I wanted to do some random clips (fandub and rp) over X-mas break to tide me over until school gets back in session. I've wanted to do something from Peter S. Beagle's The Last Unicorn for a long time, but was never able to get around to it since it was one of my favorite stories when I was little... and it still is. :P

I'll probably do more scenes in the near future, since I'll have more time to voiceact some this coming semester. Not for any long-term projects, but definitely short clips every now and then.

Audition Rules and Requirements

Characters: I won't go into details about the characters here, so if you want to know more, you'll have to do some digging on your own. Sorry! For anyone with reference to the book/storyline, I'm casting for the scene where Schmendrick has just turned the Unicorn into a human girl to save her from the Red Bull.

Molly Grue: Female/Mid- 30s, so a nice mature, med-med/low voice would do nicely. A strong, indomitable woman. Please make it sound as natural as possible. Should have a very spirited, brash voice since Molly is a very strong woman who's not afraid to speak her mind.

CLOSED- CASTED TO: Enmiri Miko- Congrats!

Schmendrick: Male, also mid-30's. Med-med/low voice. A bumbling magician. I imagine him to be childish in a way, still unsure of himself, yet in this clip he should be very pleased with himself in an impish tone of voice. Can be quick to anger sometimes. ^^ ; Not necessarily a strong voice, but not immature.

Real quick update- Danyata and superharris: thank you both soooo much for starting the audition process! I'm thrilled people seem to be taking an interest in this project, and appreciate your enthusiasm. I really enjoyed listening to both of your auditions. *thumbs up*

Also, just as a note in the future, the key to who I chose to actually play the characters is emotional output. I can't stress enough how utterly important it is to show as wide a range of emotions as possible to bring the characters to life.
