Are your youtube vids in .flv? (I had the same promlem), you can go to Media-Convert (http://media-convert.com/) to change them into wmv's (it converts almost anything into almost anything!)

They are when I download them, but I convert them to .wmv's using youconvertit.com. For some reason, however, Movie Maker doesn't like to work with these videos anymore, even if they're converted.
I've tried using a different video editing software, but my trial is up now, and it also save the movies in bad quality, unfortunately. Rabble.
