There may have been only one real "shock" scare in this trailer, but the rest of it is just plain... eerie. Also ironically eerie is that the director is the Japanese guy who created "Ringu" in the first place. Yup - he seems to bring the typical Japanese horror sentimentality into the movie.

I'll probably end up seeing that. I have two friends who are scary movie freaks,. Every new scary movie that comes out it's always "oh! I wanna see thats soooo bad!" I haven't seen the Japanese movie but I saw the first one and I liked it...so...*shrugs* I dunno.

That was interesting. Though the series is kinda boring. It just needs somethign else, even the original of the first one was kinda boring too. This should be interestign though since they did say it's not being based on "Ringu 2"

Ah...the usual Japanese horror cliche...Creepy women or kids with their wet hair over their face , with the creepy walk or crawl. I will see the Ring 2 though.

Saw the trailer yesterday at the front of Shaolin Soccer (comedy at its best) and wasn't too impressed. I never bothered with the original Ring film, and I expect I'll give this one a miss too.

Horror films are just meh... not really worth it.
