I play the Piano and guitar and an Orchestral Harp. But i always wanted to learn the harmonica cause of people like stevie wonder and that dude from blue's traveler (john popper).

An instrument that i always wanted to learn but never got around to learning has been bag pipe. Oh man, i would be so cool knowing how to play the bag pipe, i would make alot of european friends in 2 days with my kilt and playing abilities, erm. anyways, what do you play?

 Masahiko

i'm just someone who cant live without music. my headphones are on 80% of the day.

I play the clarinet and only a few songs on piano. I don't get very creative with either instrument... ^^;;

I'd like to be able to play the piano better and start again on the drums.

I tried to play the guitar for awhile but gave up.

Masahikooo- You should totally learn how to play the bagpipes! That would be awesome.

The only instruments I have played are Snare Drum, Bass Drum (in band), Sleigh Bells (in band, its a percussion instrument), Recorder (in like 3rd-5th grade), and Piano.

The only ones I am good at are Snare Drum, Bass Drum, and Sleigh Bells. -_- i suck at piano AND recorder. ugh.

Flute. That's it. But I wish I could play an electric guitar... or a base guitar... or the drums. Gawd, that would be cool. And I wanna start a BAND. XD

Piano for 10 years and counting.
Trumpet for 8 years and counting.
Handbells (bass line!!! AKA the big bells) for 9 years and counting.

I can play Alan's Flute from Sailor Moon on my Dragonflute. ^.^;;;
Tried to teach myself guitar, and can't really play anything...
Attempted to teach myself violin, but never got anywhere...
And if it counts, singing (in choir)... for... like 13 years and counting.

What I want to play: EVERYTHING! But especially guitar, violin, and organ.

I play the bass, the cello, and I'm teaching myself to play the piano.

I can also do a few things on the guitar and the drums.

I can play guitar, keyboard, and drums at a professional level. I assume that means I could also play key-tar or drumboard. I can play the string bass, electric bass, banjo, ukulele, and accordion well enough to fake it.

And I play drums, and sing

I used to play the recorder and organ. If you put them in front of me now ... heh.

I think that one day I would like to learn the violin.

Well, my personal rule is to try to play any instrument I can get my wee mits on. But for your reading pleasure, here is the list of instruments I play and why I play them.

Violin, which I was taught at school for my exams and stuff. I chose to learn it because I always loved the violin and at the time, Vanessa Mae was one of my heroes (and still is). ^^ I've been playing for 8 years now, been a part of 2 string orchestras, and a Ceilidh band (which plays traditional Scottish/Irish music).

Piano, which I taught myself. The piano is just one of those classy instruments that I just love to play and listen to. I never care if I'm good at it or not, I'm just happy to mess around and get a decent sound. I've been learning as long as violin, if not longer.

Celtic whistle, again a self taught instrument. I just love the sound of it, and its a part of my country's history and traditional music. I like to hear it with celtic fiddle. ^^

Guitar, which is yet another in my aresenal of self taughts. What can I say? I just love guitar!! It sounds great, its adaptable to any number of styles. Just one of those must haves.

Finally... singing! I've been singing ever since I can remember. I just love to make music with my voice! I've always been pretty good at it, but then I got actual vocal training at school. I now am trained in several styles and helped teach the choir in my final year of school. I'm a qualified singer! Yay me!

And that, as they say, is that! ^^

I wanna play violin. ^_^ And piano. ^^

I don't really play an instrument. ^^; My voice is my instrument, but it needs a lot of work.

I could teach you if you wanted, but you'd have to get your own instrument. ^.~

I would love to learn the Violen, but I dont have the money, time, or support from my parents.

Yeah, lessons outside of school can get expensive, as well as buying the instrument itself and all the books you need. It can all build up. Tell your parents that learning an instrument builds confidence and character. ^.~

I can also play French horn
Mellophone
Trumpet

French Horn and bass. I'm probably about equal in skill between the two. I'm been playing french horn for about 5 years and bass about 4 years.

I took my school's beginning guitar class for the whole trimester it's offered! And then proceeded to never practice. BUT I know chords. Like. EIGHT of them. Which I think earns me points. Aside from that, I've been playing in my church handbell choir for six or so years. I can play four bells at once now! And I'm the only person in the bell choir expected to do that! X.x

I'd LOVE to learn piano, and, possibly, a few more guitar chords. Make it an even ten or something. It's a lofty goal, I know, but with hard work and determination I'm SURE something can be accomplished!

oh, hehe, I also played for a year in my church's choir and I can play twinkle twinkle little star on a guitar... haha, lol.

so let's see... that would be

piano
trumpet
mellophone
french horn
hand bells (only mastered three handed *jealous of Liana*)
and a song on the guitar! :D

I've done guitar for a bit mostly electric, but I started off with the violin, working my way down through viola all the way to double bass (what the hell it's only adding a string and taking one away it isn't rocket science here folks) but I suppose my hearts always stayed with the guitar...I'm getting back into playing soon, starting fresh and fromt he basics and working my way back up.

Trying to learn acoustic guitar...

Me too! I actually got one for x-mas last year from my mom's (rich) friend, but i'm too broke to afford lessons xD And now i've broke one of the strings and have no idea how to put on a new one!! lol

But i want to play the acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano and drums.
It'd be really cool if you leaned how to play the bag pipe, Masahiko! But i heard that it's VERY hard to learn

Let's see...

I can play piano (by ear...one day I'm going to apply myself and learn to read music XP) and I've been studying violin for a little over a year now. Oh, and voice.

I've always wanted to learn the harp, the sitar, the wooden flute, the guitar (not sure what kind), the cello, and probably a bunch of others.

Oh, and if it counts I can play the spoons and I once started to teach myself a couple of things XXP

I played the violin for several years, starting in fourth grade, but once they stopped making me practice, it just kind of faded out of my life. I never did learn how to read music, I learned all my songs by ear.
Don't really have any interest in learning a new instrument; much too busy with voice acting. If anything, I would probably pick up the violin again and start 'fiddling' (haha) around with it again.

Your the only person who can? Oo;; weird... In my choir, I think pretty much everyone can. Especially those who've been in the choir for a long time (me XD). And my church has, like... 3 bell choirs. Oo;

I can play the trumpet (although haven't in a while), and get into piano on and off. Print out some anime/game sheet music from time to time; that kind of thing =)

Cello, Sax, Piano...

I'd love to learn the violin. I can't play any type of guitar because my hands/fingers are really small and it's impossible for me to do a lot of chords without severely hurting myself :P Pipe organ would be cool too :D :D :D

Oh, and the drums.

I'd like to learn to play the piano and/or guitar. I don't have much time for it right now though. Plus I hear it's much more difficult to learn either or these two when you're older than a certain age...or something like that...

I did play violin for a few weeks when I was 13, but not well enough to continue doing it. My teacher actually recommended that I stop trying to learn the instrument. I agreed with her, my playing sounded like nails to a chalkboard.

Well, I've played the clarinet for about 7 years now.. havn't played it much lately since I graduated high school. I'm thinking about starting again though.

Right now, I'm learning to play the guitar.. also, right now I'm mad because a string broke on it and I've only been playing it for almost a month now.

Piano for 10 years, double bass for 6.5 years. On bass I'm in the school orchestra and a non-school-related youth orchestra. This is the year I get to play a bass concerto in the last school concert! Yay!

In my unofficial musical life (meaning without lessons), I play mandolin and bouzouki in my high school's Celtic music band. A few years ago I was pretty good at pennywhistle, but at the moment I have 4 or 6 of them lying around unused. I'll pick them up again sometime... I have a concertina, a practice chanter, and (oddly, since I'm not a fan of any musical styles developed after 1900) an electric bass, none of which I have yet learned to play. Oh yeah--and a trombone. That's the thing I have the absolute least idea about. I can almost make it produce a noise of some kind.

I think it'd be really cool to be in a tango band.

I can play bass guitar, and I'm currently learning guitar and clarinet, and relearning piano (because I've forgotten how to play it).

I want to learn violin, classical guitar, tin whistle, bodhran and drums.

Oh, and I sing too! That counts, right? XD
