This is for the Death Note live action movie which as many of you know is the live action movie based off of the anime and manga, Death Note.

The deadline for this project is January 31st :)

Also if you could please record your audition as an MP3 file I would appreciate it but if you cannot I can improvise if they are wave or WMA files, and of course save it with your characters name and your username as the title of the sound file. Also please send your auditions to one of these emails

Well here all the characters that are currently open so look over them and tell me who you would like to be :) and if you want I can send you a link to the movie if you think that it would be better to lipsync to it(which really it would)

Age:Unknown but probably in his mid 30's(at least he looks that way in the live action movie)
Description: He is a member of the taskforce trying to catch KIRA
Voice Description: If you audition for him you can either make him sound like he would in the anime(which if you get the part and you come back for a role in the anime please make him sound like this) which is just a "youngster" to the force(but older than matsuda obviously) OR you can make him sound like he looks in the movie and give him a dumb sounding voice :/ either way if you're casted please don't transfer the dumb sounding voice to the anime version but for the movies I COMPLETELY understand :)

Audition line: This case has no clues. The victims were scattered around the world, and they all were only criminals.

Misa Amane
Female
Age: Probably about 19 or 20
Description: She is a model who is popular on television as well who (in this movie at least) has a small role but in the next movie and in the series itself has a more prominent role as a main character
Voice Description: For her (and I know this may sound weird) but please make her sound like Misty from Pokemon, there is a Reference clip on the bottom if you don't know what she sounds like (who doesn't though)

He is like it says in his name description the guy who stands next to the third criminal and probably was the prosecutor in the trial
If you audition for him then you should sound annoyed by the fact that there is all this media and publicity over your client.

He is a guy who is not shown on screen but who comments on KIRA
For him just try and sound very shocked and loud

Age: Unknown at this time
He is a guy who is also at that table
For him just sound naïve and happy and very confident about his choice

Audition line: KIRA is the savior

Also if you are chosen for the role as a specific character then I will give you the full script of lines that your character has to say or tell you that is all your character has to say in the film. Another thing is that yes you can voice another character if you would like but understand that you will have to please try and change your voice so it doesn’t sound as if you are the same person several times over. Oh and if you are chosen this time around and your character is recurring in the next movie then of course you are set for the next one. Also one last thing before I go if I do any personal fan dubs of scenes like I have done in the past or full episodes themselves like I plan to do then I would feel very happy if we were to work again together on future projects J. I might? I'm coming up on a possibly forced hiatus at the moment; a friend of mine is coming to visit in a week, for two weeks, and I'm currently trying to create a backlog of line submissions for that.

However, I might suggest rearranging your character auditions. Right now it's great that you have every character noted and with auditions, but you may also want to break it down into Main Characters -- Supporting Characters -- Extras (with Random Guys/Girls/Reporters brought together with generic or a sampling of lines). I say this just from when looking at your thread, all my eyes really saw were the 'extras' -- I didn't notice at first that the main cast was hidden in there, and I got confused. ^^;

yeah basically if they're not there then they ahve already been taken and also don't really think that the other roles are "minor" and "nameless" because truthfully every person counts :)

Well the only reason why roles like that are deemed nameless is because they are Random *Insert Profession Here* people instead of having an actual name roles like that are generally deemed "Minor" as well. Granted just because a Character has a name doesn't mean they are Major but still. But I might still aud for this if I have the time.

yes those are all BUT in my opinion(at least in this movie) Ukita is DEFINATELY not just a random :) he actually has ALOT of dialogue in the movie :) which surprises me...

I wasn't really planning on doing that since this is such a big project and there's wayyy tooo many people :/ really I will just announce who got the roles to the person via message or email :) and you'll know who got the roles once I release the fan dub(don't worry this wont happen in the future it's just that it'd be WAYYYY too many people to list) :/
