(Note: I might as well warn you all now this is going to be a fairly long post.)

Yes I might as well say it now production on Episode 2 of the series has been on hiatus for several months and now it sadly had to end on a fairly low note. I shall give you all a little history lesson...

At the September of 2006, the 1st episode of my first production namely a radio/videoplay adaptation of the pre-battle dialog and character endings from the Neo Geo game "SNK Vs. Capcom Chaos" was released. While it was awfully apparent that it was the first time I did a mixing on a production, the voice acting was generally fairly well received. And while the whole production was in a need of some polish the consensus was fairly above average. I soon tried to work on Episode 2, things went out a bit slowly but I was trying to fix the mistakes I made last time so I was cool with that. I got a pretty good amount of the lines I needed. Things seemed to be doing okay in that regard...

Then 2007 occured...

I was getting some more lines in. Heck it almost seemed like all I needed were lines from Hideki on Ken and Dan, and Fruitfly to be the understudy for Tessa not too mention Oniri (understudy) as Athena. Though unfortunately over the course of 2007 I had to switch computers due to certain technical issues and I lost some files in the process including material for this series. My cast members here might even remember when I asked them about whether if they wanted the series to end or go on and the answer was seemingly unanimous that they would be okay with either decision. So I thought I try to see if I can possibly be able to keep this up. (Besides this was also when I was trying to build aud spots and the like for other projects as well, not too mention other things like the scripts that I am still writing.) My main focus was of course on Athena since she was the star of that episode. And while Oniri did send me a few lines she only covered a portion of the script. However I was perfectly willing to be patient especially since she had the most lines. But alas unfortunately it didn't work out so I had to recast and I went with Ayumi-Chan during the mid to latter portion of 2007. Unfortunately she gradually became a bit too busy to be able to fully do that. (But to be fair I can't talk about being busy so I was during a good portion of latter 2007 since I was about to be getting ready for moving to New Hampshire.)

Things didn't really change too much over the months and I finally managed to get contact with Ayumi-chan. We exchanged a few pleasantries at first then I admit that we got down to business about what are we going to do there. She admitted to me that she was so busy that she had a hard time in really getting to do all the lines alongside all the things she had to do and want to do. Thats when it became all too clear that I wasn't able to finish this episode up. She felt guilty about it and told me that "she was letting everyone down" but not too worry folks I assured you that I did not blame her about this whatsover in fact I will say that if its anyone's fault for this it would be mine. Besides she wasn't the only potential casting problem. The two aforementioned cast members haven't sent me their needed. (Though to be fair Fruitfly DID send me her Shiki lines in well before I needed her to take over the role of Tessa.) And while I am sure there are cast members whom would be more than happy to continue working on the series even now, there are those that I am unsure if they would want to and especially those in which I wonder if they even can. Things have changed a bit since 2006 and unfortunately even IF by some miracle I was able to finish Episode 2 the odds of me being able to do Episode 3 were not guaranteed to be in my favor. However I figured as a nice gesture I thought I at least show us the fairly small but cool blooper reel that I managed to get here at...

(Oh yeah and if anyone wants a Mediafire download link just ask.) While I wasn't quite sure how I would be able to show the regular clips that I did get, I thought I at least show the bloopers. The audio quality on some of them were still questionable and I was trying to fix that as much as I can. But still I thought I at least release the outtakes especially since while I liked them all some of them were just too amusing to miss. However I would especially want to apologize to the cast members that only had the smaller roles that were in the playable character endings since I never actually got to their scenes. But if anyone is particularly bothered about my actions here I do apologize. But if I were to ever stop a project I DEFINITELY wanted to be the type to inform people about it. It does feel sad that this is occuring and you people can only imagine how I hope that none of my other projects will ever follow suit. Though times like this make me wonder if I should try to get a bit more of a production staff since doing it solo for the most part there is a bit questionable to me especially in radioplays. However my audio clip editting skills have improved over the months so maybe I will do a "Special Edition" version of Episode 1 and at least do something like fix the audio problems that it had.

But I am not planning for anymore discontinuations in fact I am working on certain other projects of mine a bit more like my upcoming new Street Fighter stories. In fact speaking of that, Hideki, ShockDingo, wpt1031, Tecknic, Eden, River Angel Odin? Would any of you six be willing to reprise your SF2 roles for my SF project? Because I am thinking of starting to do a Trailer for it next month. (Namely due to Ayumi-Chan being on Vacation this month and she won't be available until next month. She told me that she will try to be more active in voice-work next month but she thought that due to her busy life it would seriously be for the best that she focus on doing VA work only instead of VA work and producing.) But still this whole thing was pretty fun while it lasted. But in retrospection when it comes to 2-D fighters with a considerable amount of dialouge in a story mode I should've probably went with something like Art of Fighting 2 or Fatal Fury 3 or something a bit more recent like Guilty Gear XX. SVCC was a pretty fun game and the way it used the concept can be rather entartaining but it was pretty much based on random encounters. While those 3 games on the other hand were a bit more plot-based in characterization but still had a nice mix of serious and comical banter. (Who knows maybe I'll do something on games like those to make up for this.)

But still I did release that little blooper reel (thats practically sandwiched by these rather long and large paragraphs). I certainly could've done some things better for sure but it was fun while it lasted. And here is hoping that I won't end up having to do a send-off for a series like this again.

Hey bro,
Sorry to hear about this being discontinued, but I understand. Hey we all get busy, and some things just don't work out. I wish you well with your next project, and yes I'd be interested in working with you again in Street Fighter.
