Any fellow class-of-2005-ers starting out the madness of the college application process? It's sure sucking so far. ;)

Hehe, well, I'm not heading off to college, but my husband is in the spring, if all goes well =) So both of us will be sharing in the madness XD

I remember tossing out applications.

I just shot low, tossed out one ap, and got in. I figure, once I prove myself in college, I can go onto a bigger and better one later on.

HAHAHAHA. I'm a fool.

I don't think I've sent any in yet, to tell you the truth. I'm gonna have to get on it before too long.

I'm going to see if I can avoid college and strike out on my own. *shrugs* Call me a damned foo if you want, but I believe experience is the best teacher out there (depending on your career field of choice, of course.)

Applying ED.

My application is due November 1st.

@#$%

I'M SO FRICKEN DEAD.

edit:
my schools:
Wellesley (early decision)
Yale
Amherst
Swarthmore
Cornell
Mount Holyoke
Smith College
UMass Amherst
UMD in college park

the first five are "AHAHAHahHAHAHA. I have no chance but I'm still applying anyways!" and the last four.. well, two of them are competative and the other two are safe.

Someone shoot me before mid-december rolls around.

Where's everybody applying to?
I'm applying to Minneapolis College or Art and Desgin, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Columbia College in Chicago.

HAHAHAHA. I'm a fool.

I did same.

Then I blew off my Freshman year and lost all my scholarships because I suck.

Now I'm busting ass to earn at least one back.

MORAL: Don't party too hard kiddies. Or if you do, party so hard that it's actually WORTH it when you want to kick your own ass later ^.^

I've already filled out most of my applications (not the essays, however ><), but my guidance councelor insisted on me to not send any in until I get back my new ACT scores (which will come AFTER the deadlines ><) But oh well. They'll take it anyway. I'll make then. *evil eyes*

but yes. It does suck. Especially when your parents are ranting on you that you should go to junior college when you KNOW you're capable of better... but they use the phrase "we're paying, we're deciding." Okay.. after they do that they'll just decide what my major will be. Oh and after that they'll decide where I'm gonna live for the rest of my life. And maybe after that they'll decide who I'll marry, how many kids I have and what I will name them...

Sorry... I'm stressed over here ><;;;;

I've been there! xD It took 2 years to get into college, one of those years i had to go back to school and do sixth form art for a year to get better grades, which i did and now i'm in my last year of college ;P

It totally sucks. I'm applying to like 7 different grad school (already graduated from college earlier this year, nyaaa~~) programs and they cost $60 to $80 just to apply!

But I love Biology~

Well, I don't need to fill them out any longer, but I do remember them.

I only applied to three local schools that are easy to get into, so I got into them all and just picked the one I wanted. Aiming low rocks. I'll worry about getting into a great school when it comes time for graduate work.

EVERYONE SHOULD APPLY TO MARYWOOD UNIVERSTY!
We suck AND rock at the same time!

Within three months I will be.

However, at the moment, I'm still looking at various universities around Canada and trying to get my math mark up so it's around a 70. >.<

I ought to be doing my essays right now. I've already applied to two schools that didn't require essays, but I'm sort of scared of the other applications. Actually I've just gotten my letter of acceptance from Purdue for engineering, so that's nice. At least I'll be going somewhere! But I haven't done the apps for my top two choices yet.
