Gollum demo

I was bored, and thought it was a good time to show my Gollum impersonations. This is sort of an unofficial "I'm back from my absense and ready to start auditioning again" post.

NOTE: The actually "golluming" didn't record nearly as well as I had hoped. The gutteral sounds for some reason didn't record at all, so it just sounds like I'm shouting Gollum with a strained throat. Need better mic.

Holy shit, you're so awesome at Gollum o.o You sound just like him!

You need much more practice with this one. You're having trouble maintaining the placement of Smeagol's voice, which keeps wanting to shift back into your natural tones, and sometimes drops out all together. You're also lacking the sufficient depth and texture for Gollum's voice, which at the moment just sounds forced. The personality itself flitters around all over the place, going from 'sort of sounds like Gollum' to what sounds like your own invention. The 'Gollums' sound pre-calculated, as do the shifts in personality. They need to be much more stark in contrast, and off-the-cuff.
