It's been a while, boys and girls. <3 A couple years since I VAed/mixed anything. So forgive the suck. Thanks to Tom for the search and destroy sound effect. XD Comments appreciated~ <3
on a background note, Yayo's the head of a triad organization. Dive's her body guard. They became lovers. Yayo used to be a hardcore heroin addict. Dive made her quit cold turkey. Yayo broke off their relationship at the hospital after a horrible 5 day run with psychoticness. <3 Just a little backstory.

This is fantastic. I love this new style for Zodiak. =D
You and Tom sound great together.
I read the chapter, I read the script. I recorded my lines and had a f*cking GREAT time doing so. This was fun, fun, fun. ACTUAL plot, ACTUAL dialogue. And any time I get the chance to throw around the eF'er more than forty-six times in a row, you know I'm giddy.
Now, as for my cast-mate, Mythie Chickie was wooooooonderful. Yayo came to LIFE, complete with all of her delusion and abstraction, without sounding contrived at all.
As for the technicalities of producing, I thought the mixing was smooth and yet sharp. Seamless.
I haven't recorded lines for anything in months, but this was a GREAT way to come back. Thanks, Mythie!

Well, starting the party with a bang eh Shoji?
Audacious,
As twisted as a rusted jackhammer pounding through a screaming cranium.
but certainly.
Audacious. Good work, very good work.

A tour de force in the monolgoue department; both actors were splendid.
The music also effectively drew out the emotion in the dialogue.
I liked how the secret thoughts of the characters, indicated by reverb, added an extra layer to the interaction between the characters.
Very strong piece. Great.

It's always good to find people who aren't afraid of tackling challenging subject matter and dialogue without wimping out.
Don't go changing.

Wow! Refreshingly different from all the fluffy stuff floating around. Its great to see someone making productions with challenging issues in them, and it is a tricky subject matter. The acting was amazing, as was the mixing. I hope to hear more stuff like this in the future. ^^

Wow that was hard core. It takes guts to cover subject matter like this and to do it justice.
I love the sound of Myth's voice, but found it very difficult to hear at times. I suppose this is because you were supposed to be coming down off drugs hence the speaking fast and differing sound levels. Your acting was great though.
Tom I think gave his best performance yet in this. Nice and clear too. It would have been easy to overact on this and end up being cliched, but you pulled it off.
Mixing was great. A really strong ear opening start, good SFX and nice unobtrusive background music. The writing was what stood out for me though, you wrote this Myth? You got some script writing talent there girl.

Lucien :: Thanks for the kind comments. <3<3<3
Kobe :: You're too kind to me. Really, you are. <3 And I established my studio. I won't leave. At least not for a while. XDDD
Angus :: Wimping out is for. Um. Wimps. XD;
Yami :: You will, with the casting of Z. *giggles*
Jenna :: I'm just getting back into mixing, so I can blame the levels on that. I don't have my preamp around, so hopefully I'll fix that problem with the reintroduction of the little gadget. XD Speaking fast was more for her reactions though. My friend, Faith, and I wrote this originally as a short story. If you're interested, it can be found here (http://www.livejournal.com/community/kabukiarc/210525.html). <3
