MTAC Idol: Tobikata wo Wasureta Chiisana Tori

I just realized how crazy of a person I am. Anyway, at MTAC this year, I participated in the Idol Contest. Since the song I wanted to sing doesn't have a karaoke (damn it), I had to sing A cappella. It's one of my favorite songs, too.

The song is "Tobikata wo Wasureta Chiisana Tori" and is originally performed by Misia. It is also the theme for Star Ocean: Til the End of Time.

And yes, I know the video cuts off before the end of the song. XD; Blame my recording person.

I know that I'm a bit off sometimes and I even mixed in different parts of the song. XD; I was a bit out of breath due to my earlier screaming during the other contestants too...

I can't believe you performed it acapella! Props on that! I'm sure it was extremely difficult, so I won't say much about your pitch issues. It sounded good, but I think you changed the key during the chorus...? Not sure. Don't count on that, haha.

Again, this is a very difficult song, and you performed it very well, even without the BGM!

Very nicely done! I didn't really hear anything aside from pitch, which is, again, very hard to hold on to without any BGM.

@ CKMel: I know! I adore this song. But due to the lack of Star Ocean players and the fact that there isn't a karaoke for the song, alot of people have never heard of it. >> Which is sad, considering the awesomeness of it. Anyway, I was really happy to see a critique from you. And yes, I did change the key of the chorus. It was really hard accapella, but I was pleased with the end result. (That song is ridiculously hard. Misia is a goddess. X_X) Thank you for the compliments and I'm happy that it wasn't a total flunk XD

Actually, the account belongs to two girls I know really well that attended MTAC and my convention JAMPcon. ^^ They were nice enough to post the Idol and CarmellDansen videos up for me with my permission, since I was too lazy to make my own account.
