Producers Comments:
Well, It's been a nice long while since I made a REAL RP, I've been making nothing but little things for the past year, well, its time to break that. This is my first RP in I think, 2 years. It's the story about Harry Potter and the School of Hogwarts. How would it be, if Hogwarts was relocated to America? This rp will explain all that. The RP took me about a couple days to mix. I was planning on censoring this radio play, but I guess I just got lazy, yay for laziness! The cast for this rp was fast, precise, and incredebly talented. I've been blessed (once again) with a fantastic cast. So, if you download this, and listen to it, please give me Comments and or Critizism, anything. Give me all the Critique you can throw at me. I can handle it. I made this rp to appeal to Potter Lovers and Haters Alike. Enjoy
-Masahiko
Thanks to Blue also for being mah host!!

Pure quality, Masahiko. I'd never heard any production of yours before, but this looks set to be your next big hit series! =D The whole cast did a fantastic job, and it was all mixed together flawlessly. Hehe, I won't complain at all about the British accents, because my American is far from perfect, and it was funny all the same :) All voice samples were clear and noise-free; the sound effects were crisp and placed in highly amusing ways; and finally the music fit perfectly, whether a foreboding orchestral (from the HP soundtracks I imagine), or a kickin' street beat, it set the mood very nicely.
My favourite part had to be the Kill Bill mock-up xD A genius idea, and you pulled it off really well to boot. Much kudos to Lucien for that hilarious speech, and the battle scream was absolutely amazing.
The little "to be continued..." bit at the end made me chuckle as well. Another truely novel idea!
Again, well done to all involved. Can't wait for the next part =)

OMG....words fail to describe this mockery you have created. A mockery on the very foundations of the Children's Literary World. How could you take something so pure, and corrupt it so? Millions of kids around the world have read this book series. What gives you the right to do this?
Great job. >3

Things that stood out to me while I was listening;
-Sharp and description sound effects, without being distracting to the vocals.
-Clean vocals; no noise/static.
-Effective use of music. Whether it's classical or modnern, you make sure each piece fits with the scene. I'm glad you didn't use any tracks from the actual motion picture sound track; it gave the clip its own feeling separate from the movies.
-There were no voices that I disliked, or thought didn't fit. All the performances were colorful, and comedic in their own way.
-I really liked the subtle use of the fly buzzing around during the Kill Bill speech. I thought that was really cool.
I'm looking forward to hearing more.

I guess i should post comments bout my own cast, hehe ^^
Harry Potter/Lucien: I asked ya to be in the rp when I was only about 7 lines into writing the script, I wrote the script with your voice in mind. I was in no way, dissapointed. His role had alot of screaming in it, and daaamn, he really SCREAMED, dramatically too. Awesome performance. We need to invent some VAA oscar or something, he'll sweep.
Lord Voldemort/Dylan Nagel: Well, who else can play Voldemort? Dylan always plays the villians in my rp's, it's a typecasting thing, hehe. But darn, Dylan can play anything, thats for sure.
Mcgonogal/Jenna: Everytime someone hears the rp, in its early stages, they always point out to me and ask, "who plays mcgonogal" they just love that voice you gave her, how can I disagree? You sound great as Mcgonogal. The emotion you put into a 90 year old witch just blended so well with chronocrossed. You remind me of that witch from the wizard of oz, only less threathening.
Dumbledore/Chronocrossed: Oh man, been a while since I heard from this dude, and im so glad he auditioned. He gave Dumbledore that Intelligent, but yet, playful tone. Mixes perfectly with the settings. Wait for the next rp, Dumbledore will be so cool in it.
Aunt Petunia/Kara Dennision: Kara, wow, fast, and daaaamn, you read the lines the exact way I imagined them to be acted out as I wrote the script. I'm so glad I was able to find ya, you did so damn well as petunia. The whole yelling part was so intense and how you did those grotesque lines like a pro.
Uncle Vernon/TomaMoto: Hey Hey, Toma, you did awesome, so glad you came around also. Lots of chemistry with you and kara. You guys sound like a drunk/ cracked up married couple. The voice you gave was so gruff, made vernon sound more fat, and more crazy than he is, and more, is better!, hehe. Great job dude.
Extras: Katie, Matt, Blue, and Nikki. You guys did lines right when I needed, you guys rock, you're my VA Whores! I had a bunch of whores for proton. and you guys are now, the Pothead Whores! Oh yeah, Howard Dean did alright in the rp, I think.

Lol it's rude, it's crude but It is funny... in places.
Stuff I liked:
* Lucien's 'damn you Voldermort' bit. I love how you made your voice sound like it was breaking hehe.
* Dumbledore rocked.
* Vernon and Petunia were good.
* Yes the Kill Bill bit was funny.
* Sound effects and music selections were very good.
* Mas was good as the narrator. A little emotionless in places though.
* The ending outtake was very amusing. I love the fact that all Blue's to be Continueds' sounded the same hehe.
Stuff I hated:
* ME
* Some of the rude bits that weren't funny. What is with the chicken references?

OMFG.
As a huge fan of the Harry Potter series, I HATE YOU!
But...as a part of Part 2 of this project and a fan of sick humor, I must say you do not disappoint! GREAT WORK to the cast as well as to Masahiko and I can't wait to hear moi in Part 2!

This was a freaking fantastic clip. I loved the references made (especially the kill bill one), and the cast was BEAUTIFUL! Everybody fit their roles so perfectly. Great sound effects, and mix too! ^^
Dialogue was freaking brilliant! ENCORE!
Btw, totally love the 'end'...that bit was funny as hell. ;p

great stuff man, ill shall add to the comments
i see u didnt add more dialogue for Mcgonagul after the "let me rub those tits" line. i guess u wanted the "wtf" crowd reaction than having Mcgonagul give an engaging respons and getting the "ewwww wtf lmao" crowd response.
everyone did great, i see now why i wasnt casted. good stuff man, might have been while since ur last big RP. but dont get it twisted, you havent lost a step, more like gain 5 plus 1 more . if that made sense...cya

I think "Mas" (Howard Dean...?) was supposed to have some of that dry, 'Brit' humour, which may be why he seemed a little emotionless to some. I think his narration fit the otherwise mad and lively script, and especially laughed at the randomness of "fine, Cambodian... linens." xD

Okay full review time:
I'm what you'd call a "casual" Harry Potter fan. I don't bring any of the books outside of the house with me to read and on the release dates I haven't been in line. That said, I was still quite amused with the final result of part one.
Cast/Acting:
Top notch performances. Lucien's performance stood out the most out of everyone. Lots of range of emotion (fitting seeing as how Harry usually goes through that much range of emotion in the books). I think everyone fit their characters well (British accents were decent) and I couldn't find fault in anyone's lines. 10/10
Story:
If it weren't for the explitives, this would be just like a typical Harry Potter tale. Good job writing this. Of course we don't know the ultimate result yet, but it's a good start. For this part I was suprised not to see the remainder of part one at the end. I would suppose it was because the running time was going over. Whatever the case, it really didn't detract from the RP. 9/10
Comedic Value:
I didn't catch all the references (I haven't seen Kill Bill for one), but I was able to find most of the humor in this anyway. The hip hip stuff was humorous as I could actually imagine Harry listening to that in the next book, based on all he's been through in the last one. 8/10
Mixing /Sound/ Music:
Masahiko is a top-notch mixer. Dare I say one of the best if not THE best here? All the sounds mixed well with the music and voices. I was really caught up in the atmosphere of the story. The nice little touches when the music swells up on certain lines made it seem like a musical score tailor made for the RP. 10/10
Overall:
Everyone should find enjoyment in this RP, Harry Potter fans of all shapes and sizes especially. It's funny, well mixed, well acted, and just plain enjoyable. Can't wait until the next one. 9/10

Hey everyone, thank you for all the reviews and comments, keep em comin'. I uploaded the script, now you can read along while listening 0_0

Great. I thought Dumbledore's voice was especially close to the 1st dumbledore. The music was used effectively and the lines were clear. Can't wait for more.
And you gotta love this line, "After touching it, licking it, and even swallowing it, it doesn’t taste like snot! "

Oh, another thing that I should have commented on which I liked. All the little bits scattered around, like Matt Alan's LAPD cop voice, or Katie's disembodied voice during dramatic beginning scene. They sort of color in the scenes.

'at was frickin cool as heck!! Especially, yeah, the kill bill part. I wish my acting had been on par with everyone else though (not a statement of humility). Good thing you killed my character off early, masahiko. ^_^ Anywho, I'm sure part deux will be even better. Keep it real Masahiko, everyone. Peace out.
