hehe, so Sakura_ai, MissCar and I are doing this ... er... ... fandub! ... and here it is! Misscar and I worked hard on the mixing! (The first time I ever mixed a fandub and Car's first time ever!) So we appreciate feedback!
Ok, enough for talk time for Azumanga Daioh!
hehe, the short movie is only about 5 minutes long, so hopefully you won't get bored as easily! ^__^

*Edit* Aw, wow, very cute indeed ^_^ While a couple of the voices could have been distinguished a little better, they were all still pulled off pretty well. One major upset though was the mic static and clicking as lines began/finished. It got almost unbearable, and is so easy to fix with something like Cool Edit ;_;

Anyhoo, apart from that, then this was nice. The effort in the mixing shows, and the only way that could improve (if at all) would be to find sound effects with better quality; I've had this problem as well, so I don't blame you for it. One last thing: am I right in thinking that you guys are from England? If so, you all have very convincing American accents!

xD Cute! And very strange lol, i agree with Runai that some of the voices could've put a bit more into the emotion n' stuff, but its still good none the less ^^ Great mixing, and Chiyo is cuuute!

Lol, it's alright. Quite a lot of people think I'm british, even when I visited London. ^^;; I sort of have an accent that I can't get rid of... Anyway, thanks for the nice comments! :) Yes, at first I didn't notice the static, sorry you had to go through it all...

We only recorded all the clips in like half an hour, so that explains the unemotionless, yeah, we were pressed on time.. like always XD ... but yeah.

Are you (or anyone else) planning on doing more of the series, as a proper project, even though it's been licensed now?

I LOVED IT!
The mixing was beyond excellent and I certainly think the VAA lacks Azumanga Daioh fandubs (And I dont see why since there's so many female characters).
The Acting was actually really good considering the lack of people in it. My only fuss is that Chiyo should sound higher and cutesier and Osaka be softer, but since you didn't have many people I'll let it slip =P

That was interesting though some of the sfxs were a bit loud, some sounded like they only came from one speaker which was just really odd sounding. The mixing itself was pretty good overall.

The acting was pretty good for the most part, some of it could have used a bit more emotion...and the clicks....the clicks at the end of the lines were really the only thing that bothered me.

Overall it was pretty good for having a cast of 3 people, heheh.

Anyway... that was the first time I watched it. o.O

I think we did an OK job. Now, ever since I read Chinomi's comments, I walk down the school halls practicing my Chiyo voice. THe thing is, I actually make a decent Chiyo. Just not there... hm... I was going to redo my lines, but no time! XD

To tell the truth, we were going to do a redub of Gravitation, but instead we replaced it with Azumanga Daioh! XD We've got a long line of projects, and it's last. Sowwy! Hehe, but there's some good junk, so keep an eye out!

Right now we're redubbing FB! Hehe!

Well... Since we are doing such a big project right now (dubbing the FULL series of Fruits Basket, it's quite a lot ^^;; ), it would have to be quite a while before we could start that. But we'll see ;-)
