Yeah, I seen this too. I might do it ^_^ But what I don't get is that you have to send a video tape. Why can't I just send them a cd? Why do they want to see your face for a voiceover contest anyway? lol Well, I guess the general public wouldn't have a pc mic and everything like us AVAs heh.

Now I've just gotta see if I can sound like a 40-year-old for Iron Man/Stark, and I'm all set. I'll just use one of the school's cameras, or maybe rent one.

Although when I first saw this, I thought it was a great oppertunity for breaking into the business, I now have to admit that the whole setup of the audition strongly suggests more of a search to get people to do embarassing things on tape a la American Idol, then to find 'the right voice.' I still might do it, if I think I can sound convincing enough as one of the characters, but I'll be making sure that what I record will be hard to make a "Keith" out of. I suggest anyone else who tries it do the same.

Yeah, I was talking to one of the people invovled in this, and it sounded like it was an actual voice search thing. Lucien, m'dear, you really should try out for it.

Yeah, I'll give this a shot, simply for the fact that as long as I show a certain level of aptitude, it would be hard for them to make me look stupid. At the very best, I might turn some heads of those in charge. You never know.

They might well use this for something like a 'Haha! Look at all the nerds pretending to be X-men, don't they suck!?' So be careful if you wanna audition.
Meh, I'm not in their country and I have totally the wrong voice type for this kind of thing.

I think it's a risk you take, I guess to route to go is to do it an in incredibly cool way rather than making a lameass cosplay.

Well, I got the footage, now I just need this pesky passport size photo that they want. I'm still waiting for a response from Corey; he might give me the red flag on this, in which I would trust his judgement and not send it in. We'll see though.
