Pokemon-Chrono Cross: Dimensional Quest! Episode 1

Thanks to my cast for their participation in the production! Unfortunately it had to get edited down since I had lost contact with a couple cast members
and some lines which were needed for the 2nd half of the rp didn't get completed. But rather than making everyone wait. I decided to edit and post what was recieved!

That was really good and nicely mixed. Everyone sounded great, though for going with the english names & voice types, Fexy and topleka, I'm sorry but the 2 of you don't sound anything like Misty & Brock, but you were still great.

I agree, there is some excellent mixing and voice acting work. And now it makes sense that some of the lines are missing. I really need to get a better microphone :p

Oh and fantastic work on the Jessie voice, Lila!

I like all of the voices. For Misty and Brock, I'm sorry Starflare but they do sound similar. I wouldn't exactly say they sound nothing like them, otherwise why would they be casted? I think you should get your ears checked :)

Starflare--thanks for listening, I know you don't care for dub voices. But in my opinion Fexy and topleka are excellent matches for Brock and Misty. I think my Jessie needs alittle work. It's not the first time either, the three of us have landed these same roles in other pokemon projects goin way back.
But being able to see them playing the same roles in other productions too must mean that other directors enjoy their performance as these characters as well. ^_^

The mixing was Done Very Professionally, and the Acting sounded so great. You got blessed, Lila with a great cast, you go girl!

As for cronstructive critisism, i really dont have anything to say, i found really no problems with it, sorry. But that only means that mixing to you is like breathing, something easy.

Well not really, it just depeneds on the seires and Pokemon/Pocket Monsters I did't care for much in either language, lol... But anywas you were all still good jsut those 2 I thought didn't sound simlar to the english voices for those 2 characters.

Cool 8) I really enjoyed this. Mixing was done very very well. The voices/acting sounded great. Brock almost sounded villianous in some lines though heh. Don't know much about Chrono Cross though, never played it. All I know is that Akira Toriyama did the artwork for it lol. Anyway, I look forward to part 2! ^_^

Oh wow, Lila! I don't want to seem over-the-top or anything, but that was perfect! And i'm sorry Stareflare, but i think Fexy and Topleka sounded exactly like the dub Brock and Misty.
Ok so it's time for reviews! *drum roll*

Ash--Ekyo: I really don't know what to say except that your Ash voice was PERFECT! If i had to pick you or the original dub voice apart, i really wouldn't be able to tell! I actually ended up trying to find a spot of imperfection lol and i couldn't find any! Even the laugh was perfect!
Lila did a great job for casting you as Ash!

Misty--topleka: I'm sorry but i really have to disagree that you need to make your voice higher, Topleka! I thought you were perfect! You had the perfect tone and pitch all the way through and you sound exactly like the original dub voice. Personally, i think it'd ruin Misty's part if you made her voice higher because it's fine as it is.
I haven't actually watched Pokemon for a year or so, because my little brothers lost interest, but i can remember clearly what the voices were like and i think you got Misty's spot on.

Brock, James, Serge--Fexy: I'm really finding it hard what to say for your review cus once again you've completely stunned me with your amazing range! First of all, Brock; You were great as him! To give an honest crit, there were slight moments when you didn't sound exactly like his dub VA, but you were definetly close enough! Serge; I can't give a great review on this voice because if he's a character from Chrono Cross, i've never seen it. I've only seen various fan dubs of it from here and none of them had him in it. But your voice for him was great, none the less! James: When i first heard this voice, i re-read the castlist, and i couldn't believe it when it said was you lol, i had no idea you had such a good range! Your James voice couldn't be any more perfect! You once again did a great performance!
If you aren't already, i really think you should try to go pro!

Pikachu--Rika: This part was SO adorable!! You did a great job at Pikachu! You sounded exactly like his dub voice! Great job!!

Jessie--Lila: I love your voice! I thought you were great as Faye (from your short Cowboy Bebop clip) but you were perfect as Jessie! You had the perfect tone for her and it sounded pretty much exactly like the dub voice! So unfortunatly, i can't really give a crit because it was so perfect. Sorry!

Meowth--Caat: You were really good as Meowth! It's such a coincidence that your name is 'caat' and you play as Meowth lol. Your first couple of lines were perfect, but i think somehow the similarity to the original dub voice went down a bit as it went on, but i'm not complaining, it was still very good! And i think you did a great job at this role!

Leena--Lily: Unfortunatly, like i said on Fexy's review for Serge, i can't really give a great review for Leena if she's a character from Chrono Cross, because i've never actually seen it apart from a few fandubs on here. But from what i heard, you sounded great!! But i can't compare you to the original VA, sorry about that.

Lynx--Shadowvoice: Again, like with Leena and Serge, i can't give a great review if Lynx is from Chrono Cross because i've never seen it. But from what i heard, you sounded great! You've got a great range.

Oldman--Ralze: Even though you had a very minor part, you were great! You've got a brilliant old man voice!

Announcer--Masahiko: Well you already know how much i love your voice, but oh well i'll just say it again lol You were great! Even though you were just the Announcer, you did a great announcer-like voice on this! Great job!

mixing and overall comment: This was an amazing production, Lila! I can't wait to hear more! You've managed to find such a strong cast and the mixing was perfect, great job!

Yeah, its a tough voice to hang on to considering my real voice sounds nothing like it and the English Meowth VAs real voice actually sounds similar to the Meowth one she does. But still, gives me more reason to keep on practising! ^^

There will be more someday (I'm gonna fandub the Imfamus Seizure episode that was never dubbed, once topleka has a chance to translate it or I find that script to it again, the raw is not helpful in that part lol, but it won't be for awhile)

Ash--Ekyo: Very close to dub. Great acting. Awesome choice for Ash.
Misty--topleka: Also very close to dub. Great acting as usual.
Brock--Fexy: You were very good with your acting. Not very close to origninal dub, though. Your voice sounded very very forced. Then again, Brock usually does sound constipated... but very solid preformance
Pikachu--Rika: I LOVE YOU!!
Jessie--Lila: Very close to dub, great acting. A little TOO bubbly, though.
James--Fexy: Nice acting as usual, but also sounds a tad forced.
Meowth--Caat: You were fun to listen to. ^_^
Leena--Lily: Don't remember hearing you.. ^_^;;
Lynx--Shadowvoice: Or you.. ^_^;;;
Serge--Fexy: The best voice you did by far. ^_^ I loved it.
Oldman--Ralze: Very very fine job.
Announcer--Masahiko: YES MWAHAHAHAA!! MY TOTAL FAV! Maybe not.. but you were great!

Mixing: Overall, good job. There were some volume issues, but the timing of voices and everything else more than made up for it. I hope to hear more of this!
