my only crit is tha one streatch of similar voices in the middle, i know you can do even craziers funkier thangs, so i'd mix it upa bit. not too wacky now, just some more stark contrasts, like at the end. its great stuff!

You have a good range :)...your cute/high voices need work, except the YUUUUUUUUKIIIIIIIII line. that sounded jut fine.

I think your best voices are your normal voice (Heero Yuy range?) and your lower gruffy voices. You seem to be able to do more in that pitch area.

Anyway, back to MHO (my oh-so-humble-opinion) of your demo...

First of all, I think you did a very nice job with it, Matt. You've got that- doh, what's the best word for it- airy, wistful "sexiness" about your voice probably than any other guy I've heard on this board. There's a certain seductiveness to your voice (when you use your "sexay voice") that really makes it stand out.

Also, your more humorous voices were pretty good, too! It's so different from what I'm used to hearing from you that it kinda caught me off guard at first at the wide range of pitches your voice is capable of.

Overall, I'm very impressed, Matt. *hugs* Best wishes for your voiceacting future! You've definitely made a fan out of me. ^_^ ~ Crys

too long, way too long. cut it down to 1 minute. if you have 10 excellent voices it's so much better to hear than 100 mediocre voices. some of them were very nice. the louder ones peaked over the volume levels so watch that.

^.^ Thank-you for an excellent review of a demo reel that I did nearly two years ago when I was still a rookie AVA and didn't know how to make a demo reel. Most appreciated! Thank-you! Thank-you so much!

If my damn preamp ever comes in, the first thing I'm doing is recording a professional demo reel and I'll be sure as hell to include the things that I have learned over the last year or so in them, including length.
