Aight! The UERP Trailer (v2.0) is out, and I cannot be more psyched about it! XD I've been looking forward to getting all the primary players out there for the world to see--er, hear--and now you get to marvel in their insane glory, as I ramble on from lack of sleep and being stuck in a computer lab with about twenty servers with their fans set to HIGH.
And now, without further ado, UERP productions (with help from End of the Line Studios) presents Unreal Estate: The Radio Play (http://media.pomi.sandwich.net/ue-trailer.mp3)! (4:45, 3.25MB)
Cast (in order of appearance):
Narrator: Lawrence Chu's Evil Twin
Mallory: Lawrence Chu
Meiko: Mizura
Eiko: Etoile Belle
Lorelei: Nida Richards
Kisei: Batgirl
Music (in order of appearance):
Bootstrap's Bootstraps (by Klaus Badelt, from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl)
Eiko's Bop
Farmboy in Urbana with Girls
Kisei's Loop
All music in this trailer (unless otherwise indicated) is by Stefan Gagne, aka Twoflower.
Didja like the trailer? Why don't you check out scene 01-01 (http://media.pomi.sandwich.net/ue01-01.mp3)? (10MB, 14:42)
Or visit the RP webpage (http://pomi.sandwich.net/unrealestate), where you can read up on the characters and extended cast?
Or maybe even the original story webpage (http://pixelscapes.com/unrealestate)?
Marvel at my marvelous, redundant linkpimping powers (http://pomi.sandwich.net/unrealestate)!
...I need to get out of this lab, and quick.
EDIT: For those of you interested, the original trailer (from 2002, featuring the original cast) will be listed in the omake page later on tonight, after I get back home. ^^

Trailer: The narrator was kinda, sorta hard to hear at the very begining, but I love the begining! "nobody said anything about sacrifise!!" LOL.
Etoile Belle TOTALLY rocked at that really really fast line! THAT WAS SO COOL! LOL!
And Mizura.. I don't ever remember hearing her in an RP before, but I looooove your voice, woman!
I'll check out scene one later XD

Meep! So hilarious! XDDD
Narrator: You did a great job. You sounded like Mr. Moviephone!
Malloy: I loved the stutter, wow, what a great character. It seemed so... natural. XD
Meiko: Ah, I love your voice! In WLDWTS, I told her to cast you as Hitomi, but she didn't listen. XP. Anyway, you did wonderful. You sound like you fit the person perfectly.
Eiko: Simply, all I can say is XDDDDD And I loved the really fast line you did! That was great! Although, your mic quality sounded a little fuzzy to me...
Lorelei: A hilarious character! You portrayed well the "Personal Bodyguard" How great...
Kisei: We didn't really get to hear much of you, but you sounded good from what you did. You sound really emotionless... is that how you're supposed to sound? If so, then right on! You did a great job!
As a matter of fact, you ALL did a terrific job!
Mixing: THe mixing was great. I loved the part where the narrator starts talking again and the "adventurous" song plays. Beautiful, keep up the good work!
I'll watch scene 1 later, k?..

Lawrence: What a dramatic and interesting change from the trailer I'm used to. Actually, I think this version fixed the biggest problem I heard in the first trailer. Firstly, you actually sound like a narrator for a trailer, secondly the "look kid" line works... 'cause your narrator voice definately sounds older than your Mallory voice (in the original with me as the narrator I thought that sounded SO weird, 'cause Byron sounds older than me XD). Not to mention that the BGM was chosen MUCH better than that of the first trailer. It also makes more sense that the trailer narrator is different than the one for the radio play, since the trailer one quit :P.
Still, you need to be carefull with volume levels. The BGM is overpowering too often.
Mizura: You and Myth sound SO different as Meiko. Admittedly, I think I'm beginning to like your take on her better ^^.
Etoile Belle: I have to admit I liked your delivery much better in the first trailer... here you're just overly squeaky and you don't sound 11.
Nida: I don't really have many comments for you. I'll have to wait until I hear more of you.
Batgirl: Your lines are pretty much the same in both trailers, either way it's good.
I do like the very end of the first trailer better though.. just something about how it's cut.

It's probably the bass enhancement. I think I kinda went overboard. <_< The music was probably a bit too loud, too.
Etoile Belle TOTALLY rocked at that really really fast line! THAT WAS SO COOL! LOL!
There'll be more really really fast lines in the RP. They're fun. XD
And Mizura.. I don't ever remember hearing her in an RP before, but I looooove your voice, woman!
^______^
KAGURA: (stands behind me) Why're you looking so proud? It's not YOUR voice!
Narrator: You did a great job. You sounded like Mr. Moviephone!
My evil twin thanks you. >:D
Malloy: I loved the stutter, wow, what a great character. It seemed so... natural. XD
And so do I. ^_^
Meiko: Ah, I love your voice! In WLDWTS, I told her to cast you as Hitomi, but she didn't listen. XP. Anyway, you did wonderful. You sound like you fit the person perfectly.
It's a great voice. ^_^
Eiko: Simply, all I can say is XDDDDD And I loved the really fast line you did! That was great! Although, your mic quality sounded a little fuzzy to me...
Well, there isn't much I can do about that, unfortunately. ;_; Still, she is teh kyoot.
Kisei: We didn't really get to hear much of you
*grins* You're hearing more of her right now than you probably ever well. XDDD
but you sounded good from what you did. You sound really emotionless... is that how you're supposed to sound? If so, then right on! You did a great job!
Yep! That's exactly how she was supposed to sound. ^_____^
KAGURA: THAT'S not your voice, EITHER!
Mixing: THe mixing was great. I loved the part where the narrator starts talking again and the "adventurous" song plays. Beautiful, keep up the good work!
Aye aye!
Still, you need to be carefull with volume levels. The BGM is overpowering too often.
Yeah. I think that's been a common complaint I've been getting from both Scene 1-1 and this. I think I forget to factor in the fact that I know exactly how each line sounds without music, so my brain thinks it's all right. I'll make sure to bring it down in future episodes.
Mizura: You and Myth sound SO different as Meiko. Admittedly, I think I'm beginning to like your take on her better ^^.
Myth's Meiko is drier. Mizura's is icier. Discuss.
Etoile Belle: I have to admit I liked your delivery much better in the first trailer... here you're just overly squeaky and you don't sound 11.
That's my fault. I asked her to be more genki, because I thought the Eiko in the old trailer didn't carry that kind of energy. We'll find a middle ground, don't worry. ^_^
Nida: I don't really have many comments for you. I'll have to wait until I hear more of you.
Hopefully we'll get around to future episodes soon, so that we'll be able to hear more of everyone. XD
I do like the very end of the first trailer better though.. just something about how it's cut.
I had an ending compiled which I liked better than this one, but I couldn't stitch it on. ;_;
Thanks for all your comments, people! (More of them always welcomed, obviously.)

That was indeed very awesome and funny. I liked it. XD It was mixed very well with a good pace (and introducing the theme music of several characters!) although I felt at times the voices were a little overwhelmed by the music. It was funny, from what I could hear, though. And funny is indeed a major portion of UE.
Hmmmm... Individual comments on actors performances....? Nah. :-P I think everybody did great. I think everyone got the attitudes of all their characters down pat. Great job everybody!

Hilarious!! That was seriously good. I really liked the Narrator's voice and how he got more and more annoyed. The music went well with each part too.
And Malloy that was great acting, I loved the stutter and when you had to take over the Narrator's job.
I also like the toilet-part/stop with Lorelei.
I think everyone all did very well and all acted very well! Well done!
