Cassie singing J-Rock XD!

I did this for a project on another board. It's Hitomi no Jyuunin by Larc~en~ciel turned into a duet. ^^

First singer: Umi
Second singer: Cassie

There was no emotion to it. D= NEEDS EMOTION!!!!
Though your voices are pleasant, it sounded flat and dragged out to me. Also, a bit choppy. Try to project more and just let the words flow. Can't wait to hear more from you. :)

note: I hope this helps; I re-read it and it didn't make much sense. xD

I agree with Andy Ichigo. Make it sound more like your singing a song, and less like you're reading the lyrics into a microphone. When I am about to record a song like that, I listen to the real song and myself to make sure that I am not flat or sharp and to become familiar with the emotions the singer originally displayed. If you practice the song a little bit more, this should sound a lot better, because it sounds like you have a good voice, and good potential of making it better:D

0.0 I have to say I'm surprised...I did put emotion into the song and I know it very well.

Maybe it's the style? I usually don't sing J-Rock.

I can hear where the emotion comments are coming from!
the higher notes get better though. It sounds like you're holding back a lot though, when the vocals should get louder, they sort of don't..

and whoaw damn high notes somewhere in the breakdown xD

I think Hyde sings it with a more powerful tone while you are singing it more as if it is a lullaby. So yeah, I think it's the style ^^
