Hey everyone. I’m new here, but I’ve been in game production for awhile now. Since I found this great site for voice acting, I decided I might as well get the voice casting underway. I hope this works out for everyone!
Project information –The name of the project is Darkness Rebirth. It is a sequel to a novel I’ve been writing, and it is the first video game I’ve ever made. The game will be fully voice acted, so there will be many openings, particularly for minor roles. I have the story planned out, but I write the script by chapters as they’re needed.
Storyline Info – Darkness Rebirth sets place in a mythical world called Celenath. About 1,000 years prior to Darkness Rebirth, Celenath was nearly destroyed. A man called Omega(his real name is Araden) had decided to destroy Celenath to create his own paradise. Well, long story short, he was sealed away in a place called Melbyreth (A dark world separated from Celenath by powerful barriers). Using the power of The Chosen of Darkness (a main character in the novel surrounding this time period), he gained godly power, and destroyed the barrier between Melbyreth and Celenath so that he could re-enter Celenath. Once there, he proceeded to pull Celenath into another dimension so he could create his paradise. The Hero of Light (the protagonist of the proceeding novel) fought him and, using his mythical weapon (The Legacyblade), sealed Omega within his own sword. A demigod named Eniky finally, after being persuaded by Avenal, the girl that both he and E-min were in love with, came to help. He arrived shortly after Omega had been sealed, and sacrificed most of his power to restore Celenath, and recreate the barrier between Melbyreth and Celenath. He decided that he didn’t belong in Celenath, so he left to Melbyreth just as it was being sealed. About 1,000 years later, someone has Omega’s Blade (the sword Omega was sealed in). Omega is controlling this man, so that he can unseal himself, and gain his former power.
About this time, Nethera, the main character of Darkness Rebirth, is a member of The Resistance. The Resistance is an army dedicated to removing the many warring tyrants from power, and uniting Celenath under a council. After the leaders of his division in the resistance hear of a powerful darkling (one who uses dark magic) who has single handed conquered an outpost, Nethera and two others are dispatched to find out exactly what has happened, and retake the outpost.

Characters
MAIN CHARACTERS
MALES
Name: Nethera [Neth (sounds like meth) – air (you know, the stuff we breath) – ah (do I need to describe “ah”?)]
Age: 19-20
Bio: When he was young, Nethera was just a normal kid. One day, his village was raided by some soliders. At this time, he and his older brother were out playing near the forest. When the soliders came, Nethera’s brother lead him into the forest. Nethera’s brother frequently had to stop to wait for Nethera to catch up. The soliders had been gaining on them, and had almost caught them by the time they’d made it to the forest. Nethera’s brother hid Nethera, and stood in the open for the soliders to find. Nethera watched in horror as they murdered his older brother. After they had left, Nethera went to his brother’s dead body. He vowed to gain the strength to get revenge on the ones responsible. He was taken in by an old man in a neighboring village, and was being instructed. He was taught basic swordplay, and was starting to learn magic. One day, while cleaning for his master, Nethera found and abandoned scroll. As he read it, he found that it contained darkling magic. Curious, he hid it. Later than night, he began to read it. He saw in the dark magic the ability to gain the power for revenge, and began pouring over the darkling magic. As time went on, he became more and more sarcastic, rude, and pessimistic. His master often reprimanded him for fighting with other children, and being rude to elders. One day, he caught Nethera practicing a darkling ritual. Nethera then killed his master. That moment changed him. From that point on, killing was a joy to him. He had to flee to avoid being arrested, and continued to increase his knowledge of darkling magic. When he was 17 he had become a fearsome darkling warrior, and joined The Resistance. He did this so he could get revenge on the tyrants responsible for his brother’s death, and all those that served them.
*cast to Andre
Name: Esnuil [Es (first sound in especially) – new (you know, something new?) – ill (like I am feeling ill)
Age: 20-23
Bio: Esnuil is descended from The Hero of Light. It would be hard to debate this, since he has the same Othilian eyes as E-min (The Hero of Light). Because he has the blood of a higher race in him (the only one in Celenath with enough Othilian blood to give him Othilian eyes), he looks down on the rest of the inhabitants of Celenath. Referring to them as “Lessers”, Esnuil is usually arrogant and condescending to the rest of Celenath. Although he isn’t completely high and mighty about it, he will never consider a Lesser as his equal, and often tells them so. He is an unparalleled warrior, and is only rivaled in power by Nethera. He grew up in the Resistance, and when he came of age (17) he joined. Swiftly moving through the ranks, he earned the lofty title of Captain Esnuil (captain is just below Swordsmaster, the highest rank in the Resistance). He is used to people valuing his opinion and treating him as a superior. (note, he isn’t snobbish, just arrogant)
*cast to Aleolus
Name: Eniky [En (like enchanted) – e (just say the letter ”e”) – kie (rhymes with tie)]
Age: ??? (he’s over 1,000 years old, but still looks like a young man, around Nethera’s age)
Bio: (this one is the hardest to condense, since most of it occurred in the plot of the preceding novel) When Eniky is first introduced into the story (in the prequel novel), he is timid, shy, and easily controllable. Theavto (one of Omega’s servents) is using Eniky to get The Hero of Light and The Chosen of Darkness to do what he wants. Since he (at that time) works his magic through drawing, they showed him E-min and Gemin (E-min = The Hero of Light, Gemini = The Chosen of Darkness, they are best friends). While he’s observing them, he sees their other best friend, Avenal. He instantly falls in love with her, and is willing to do whatever it takes to protect her. In his desire to protect her, he makes a rash mistake. He causes E-min and Gemini to fall in love with her. He did this, so that they (two powerful Chosens) could protect her. After being angrily yelled at by Theavto, Theavto suddenly realizes that this gives them a powerful tool. Something within Eniky’s timid self snaps at this point. His personality is suddenly changed. Also tapping into his immense energy (on accident) Eniky threatens Theavto. Due to his anger, he is unable to control his power, and sends everything in the room flying. He then hovers in the air, and threatens Theavto (telling her to stay away from Avenal). This distressed Theavto, but another servant of Omega named Kyranu sees it as an opportunity. Kyranu wants godly power for himself, and makes a deal with Eniky. If Eniky will help Kyranu attain his power, Kyranu will give him Avenal. After helping Kyranu on the path to godliness, Kyranu fulfills his end of the bargin. He bring Avenal to Eniky. A few days later, E-min shows up to find Avenal. At this time, Omega uses Gemini to attain godliness, and Kyranu begins slaughtering everyone in sight with his new godly power. E-min finds his way into the area where Avenal is being kept, and is confronted by Eniky. He thinks E-min is a threat to Avenal and fights him to protect her. Before Eniky can kill E-min, Avenal rushes into the room, and stops him. Later, when E-min is leaving to fight Omega, Avenal begs Eniky to help them. Eniky won’t, he only cares about Avenal, not Celenath. While E-min and Gemini are fighting, Avenal continues to plead with Eniky. Finally he consents. He understands that she won’t love him, that her and E-min are too deeply in love (he has already removed the initial enchantment on E-min and Gemini, but E-min has truly fallen in love with her). He gets there right after E-min has sealed Omega in his sword. Eniky then sacrifices most of his demigodly power to restore Celenath, and the barrier between Celenath and Melbyreth. He wants E-min and Avenal to live happily without worrying about him, so he goes back to Melbyreth as the barrier between worlds reseals. At a later point in Darkness Rebirth, Nethera and company end up in Melbyreth. After saving them, he decides to help them save Celenath, since it’s what Avenal would have wanted (Yes, he still loves her after 1,000 years).
*cast to Legacyblade
Name: Omega or Araden [Are (like we are) – ah (“ah” not sure how to describe ah) - den (like a lion’s den) ]
Age: ??? Like Eniky, he’s over 1,000 old, but he’s much older. He appears to be in his late 20s.
Bio: Omega was once a normal man. He had high charisma, and was a strong leader. In his days, Celenath seemed to be falling apart at the seams. It was ruled by a weak Council that has little power to enforce law, and chaos governed much of Celenath. He climbed quickly through the military ranks, due to his abilities in battle, his influential personality, and his ability to lead and strategize. One day, he disappeared. A few years later, he returned, to make a proposition to the Council of Celenath. He had found the way to unite Celenath once more, and establish peace. He had learned the powerful ways of Melbyreth, the land of darkness. He now controlled much of that power, and if the council would embrace it, they could retake Celenath. But they rejected his proposal. They knew the legends of Melbryeth, and that it was sealed in darkness by The High God because the inhabitants had steeped themselves in darkling ways. Not only did they reject his plans, but they stripped him of his rank, and declared him an outlaw. He was outraged, and declared war on the council. If they wouldn’t establish peace, he would do whatever it took for justice to reign Celenath. Much of the council’s army was fiercely loyal to Araden (Omega’s real name). He caused the Council no end of grief, and the battles waged for years. There was a final conflict in what became known as The Shadowlands. The land was so ravaged by the battles, and the melbyrethian powers being called upon by Omega and many of his followers, than nothing could grow there anymore. It became a land associated with darkness. The battle was nearly lost, but the Council managed to seal Omega into Melbyreth. Without a leader, his followers were easily driven back. But Omega hadn’t given up. He kept in contact with a few chosen followers, and slowly recruited more followers. As he was imprisoned in Melbyreth, he began to learn more dark secrets, and form alliances with many of the dark creatures. To make a long story short, he manipulated The Hero of Light into breaking the seal between Melbyreth and Celenath, and releasing him. He also used The Chosen of Darkness to allow him to gain godly power. He then started to tear Celenath away to form a “paradise” which would be ruled with absolute justice. Before he finished, he battled The Hero of Light and The Chosen of Darkness. He nearly succeeded, but was sealed away in his own sword. Eniky then restored Celenath, and Omega’s Blade was carefully watched over. About 1,000 years later, Omega has managed to gain control of the body of one who wields him. He is seeking to be freed from the prison of his sword, and finally establish his paradice.

Name: Anithiel [Ann (you know, like ann of green gables) – ith (like if, but with a th instead) –el (like “el dogo”…yes, I know that dogo isn’t how you say dog in Spanish v_v )]
Age: 18-19
Bio: Unlike the rest of my main characters, Anithiel hasn’t been in my mental development for countless years, so her bio and personality are less firmly set. So if you like influencing how the character is, this is the best role for you (and currently the only main female role). Well anyways, all we know about her at the moment is she’s a bladedancer in the resistance. This is the only combat oriented role that has much authority. Just below captain in rank, and issues orders to lower ranking soliders unless overruled by a captain or swordsmaster. She is a follower of the light, and detests darklings, especially Nethera. Esnuil’s arrogance also bugs her. She ends up chosen to go on the journey with Nethera and Esnuil, two of her least favorite people. She isn’t overly loud and angry, but she doesn’t usually hesitate to state her opinion
