I love this song, too. :)

While you mixed mostly everything in time with the music [The only part that I can really think of being off is the "Ooh"s in the beginning, but it didn't impact the rest of the song], the volume levels didn't quite work. You sing very quietly, so one really has to listen if they want to hear your voice in contrast with the music. I would suggest mixing yourself a little bit louder next time, so it's easier to hear you.

The harmonies that you did were nice, though at times I felt that some of the lines you used were at a different pace than others, which made it sound a bit off every once in awhile. Other than those few spots, though, it was a very nice, as well as creative, addition to the song.

Onto the singing -- While you seem to have a good idea of tone and whatnot, you are not singing with your diaphragm. As a result, you have a slightly nasal tone to your voice which is particularly noticeable when you try to use your upper register. When you sing, you want to try to get into a habit of diaphragmic breathing. You know you're doing this because instead of your shoulders moving up and down, your stomach fills with air. One way to tell that you're definitely singing with your diaphragm is to place your hands on your waist and see if your stomach tenses up [Try it while shouting to get an idea of what I'm talking about].

A good way to create a muscle memory for yourself would be to lie on the floor. When you lay down, your body sort of forces itself to breathe and talk through your diaphragm. So when you're laying there, sing a few scales, or whatever practice technique is a favorite of yours, and be sure that, when you sing, you're keeping your mouth open wide, and in a nice round, "O" shape as much as you can. By practicing this, you'll not only get a better sense for breathing and singing properly, but you'll likely be able to hold notes for a longer period of time, too.

You have a lot of potential. Your voice seems like it has a nice, pure sound to it and like it would be ideal for this kind of music. It was pretty, so don't be discouraged by what I'm saying as I don't mean for it to be taken in such a way. Keep at it. :D Looking forward to hearing more in the future.

Awww~ I love this song. I'm not going to give much advice, because it seems to me that Nikki covered all bases. All I can say is practice, practice, practice. Lovely job though. :rose
