Cast:

Squall: Rupert_Scarr

Voice: JellyBeanQueen2

Rinoa: S h u d o - R a n m a r u

Mixing: Kairi

This is my second released production! It was only a six-minute long clip, but the whole experience in general was great. Except for those dang little speech bubbles. xD

I loved working with these three fabulous voice actors, and hope to work with them again soon.

Critiques welcome! Thanks for watching!

I'm trying to come up with a critique, but all I can come up with is "so cute"! And then there's me interrupting the cuteness. X3

Nice job with the mixing. Those speech bubbles really can be a pain.

They sure can. xD I've been fighting them for days.

Aw, thanks! But all three of you were utterly significant to my evil plan of making this dub. ^^ YOU ALL ARE AMAZING.

The only thing that stuck out to me as an oddity was near the end, when Shudo was emoting, but then there was my inner monologuey singular "...Rinoa", followed by Jellybean's "RESPOND" xD

The timing must have been hell, so uber kudos on the mixing job!

As far as actual critique:

Me: I wish my mic quality were better, but Vista is fighting against me using my good vocal mic. I had to use a makeshift, ghetto windscreen because my main microphone is really bad with "S" sounds.

Shudo: It was surprising to hear you with this particular tone, it seemed... older and more mature as opposed to your... Selphie XD But great, great job on the emotions. This performance was definitely a good exercise of emotional range for you. The only thing I noticed was that your lines sounded a bit muffled, but that's hardly your fault and more the fault of your microphone.

Jellybean: Very commanding voice, and did very well with the authoritative manner of speaking required of this particular role.

Mixing- Kairi: Kudos, again, for dealing with timings and those god forsaken speech bubbles xD The echo effect on Jellybean's voice was cool, though probably could have been tweaked a bit more, because at some points I noticed it was a little... I dunno, subtly overbearing? If that makes sense, hahah.... Levels were great, all the lines were clearly audible and not lost behind the BGM or anything.

I'm really glad to have been a part of this project, the script was well organized and easy to read, the other cast members did awesomely, and the finished product came out great.

Wow you sure are a speedy mixer! o___o! Or you have a really reliable cast ^^

I really liked all of your voices! Just the right amount of emotion. Jellybean Queen, your voice was PERFECT! ^^ And the mixing was great, Kairi.

REALLY good job, guys! <3

@antiperfect: Both. I like to get things done quickly, but it helped that I had such a great and reliable cast. ^^

FINALLY. Back, and I just finished watching. KYAAAH! It was SO cute, and it came out great! I'm so happy to have been a part of this!

Critiquey ~ Time:

Squall - You did an amazing job in this, Squallie! Like I said, I'm soo proud of you and really happy that I pushed you into auditioning. XD Your Squall voice is totally my ideal for his character! Your emotion was great and your voice was crisp. Excellent job! <3 -fansquee-

JellyBeanQueen2 - As always, I adore your voice. You had a really professional and commanding voice in this. =D Kudoooooss! I liked your emotion a LOT in this!

Kairi: Mixing was REALLY good, that scene must have been a total bitch to do. XD Oh man, those stupid bubbles! I tell you...that person clicks waaay too fast! Levels were really good, the background music wasn't overpowering and it mingled really nicely. I also liked the little echoy-effect on Jelly's voice. <3 You did a great and speedy job! =D Good work! ^o^

Shudo: Well, what to say here? XD Overall, I liked how it turned out though I totally wish I had better mic quality for that scene. >< I hate the muffled effect that turns up sometimes since I have to practically kiss my computer screen to reach the built in mic. XD I really enjoyed voicing Rinoa, I usually don't get the chance to do mature characters like her, and it was great practice. I had a lot of fun with the extra gasps and giggles and her emotion! It was truly a rewarding experience and I'm ecstatic I was able to be a part of it. <3

Ah, one of the most heart wrenching scenes of FFVIII.

Squall: Rupert_Scarr - It was Squallness, what can I say? XD

Voice: JellyBeanQueen2 - You changed my opinion that the voice was a guy on there. Your voice worked perfectly and it also fit well with the emotion and what was going on. Take a bow.

Rinoa: S h u d o - R a n m a r u - Pretty good emotion, although I always thought of Rinoa crying at the end there when she said "I don't want to go back." Good job.

Mixing: Kairi - It felt a little rushed in some places trying to keep up with the text, however I know that it doesn't give you enough time to do that since the text is already preset with the time. You did good with what you had to work with.

Good job everyone!

Sounded great. Not too much to critique on and I only found a few mixing problems. Excellent job. :)

Thanks again, everyone. ^^ Next time someone tells you that the earlier Final Fantasy games are easier to mix because of the lack of voices? You tell them it's a lie.

Die, text bubbles. xD
