My first posted song. I don't really sing as much as I used to, but I decided to try and get back into it and while this is a start, I have some things I'll need to work on. Anyway, this is ment for bobsinbobsled's upcoming Reborn fandub. I'd certainly any comments and critiques, but overall, please just enjoy!

Original version by Keita Tachibana (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keita_Tachibana)

Lyrics:

We are standing still on a road that never ends,
It stretches far beyond where anyone can go,
Looking there I will embrace the one I love,
Beneath a brilliant sky of purest indigo,

Even though your feelings are uneasy and unclear
As long as you can feel my chest continue to pound
I know that we’ll be able to pull apart the chain
That for the longest time has been firmly binding me down,

Don’t give up on life
Those feelings of strife will
Act as guideposts placed deep in your heart,
Let’s start walking down,
That road we have found,
That’s where our journey’s going to start,
Don’t you think so, darlin’?

While together we wind,
Encounters we find,
Let’s run right past the narrow roads we’ve been on,
And as all of us go,
Down roads of our own,
Will saying our good-byes make us strong?
I sure think so, darlin’.

OMG!! SO LOVING THIS SONG~ Reborn is awesome. I don't know if your trting to sound like the original or if this is just your singing voice (sounds kinda like the original to me), but you sound a bit strained and pitchy. Though I must say that you made the lyrics flow very well. Overall, a very sweet cover. :) Youre voice suits this song well. I hope to hear more from you.

Strained, that's it I think. It was just so hard to relax while singing it for some reason. I mean, my natural pitch isn't so different than that, but perhaps making the music a little deeper might help make sure I don't strain so much. I'm gonna give it another shot soon!

I know exactly how you feel. I find it EXTREMELY hard to sing at a low pitch, because my chorus teacher always taught me to use my "head voice", but I'm learning. Maybe sometime I can have my voice sound developed enough to do the lead vocals on one of these. Maybe Stand Up!.

OK, I've finished take 2 of the song! I lower the pitch a teeny bit, but I think it's made quite a difference. I'd love to hear what folks think!

Oh wow these lyrics are great and the voice isn't bad either. It did seem a tad strain but it flowed so well. If ya wouldn't mind, I would love to try this song especially with your lyrics as I haven't met many who can pull off english lyrics for Japanese songs. You are truly talented my friend :D

Anyway, yeah, I can see I need to work on staying more relaxed while singing with the mike. It feels easy just singing to myself, but then I have no idea how it actually sounds :P...

Also, I just put in one last edit: lowering the vocal's volume just a bit to nestle in better with the song. Now I'm done. :)
