My first CG art of my own drawing :)

Well, it's not really my first graphic, but this is the first of my drawings that I've ever colored in. :)

It took me quite a while to get it colored (4 hrs :oops:) but even longer to draw it, lol. I drew it over the course of three days in the spare time I had in my classes, lol.
I hope the shading is noticable, I tried to get it dark enough, but Idk, a few people said they didn't notice it at first...
Anyway, CC? Comments, anything? Please, I'd like to know what you think. :)

Wow Carlie! That picture was drawn really good! I LOVE the "Dan" poster in the back ground that's supposed to say "Dance the Dance of Life", which you've told me like three times already. But yeah, shading I couldn't really tell was there until I focused. Yeppers. And the shirt around the neckline should be a little closer to his skin, don't you think? It's like his shirt is being sucked up by a magnet! :XD

Very nice! I hope you don't mind some crits though.

First off, the proportions are sort of off. The hands are much too small and the legs are too short. The line quality is bad, try using the curves tool in photoshop to fix it up. The clothesfolds on his shirt look a little awkward, like he stuffed paper in it xD He's tying his belt way too high up. Use more depth in colors, also. I couldn't tell he was sitting until I realized "Hey, he has a remote and the knees are sort of bent strange xD" This is very nice for a first CG. Great job!
