This is my first production, so, yeah. ^^ It wasn't a very long clip, but the whole experience in general was rewarding. And Data Drain is a fantastic voice actor, so it was great to work with him, too.

Hey, I was in this! =D

It sounds great. I think that I could've done a little better, but that's just me being all critical of myself. =P You were great though! The mixing was excellent, and like I told you before, you definitely do Aerith justice because you voiced her amazingly, and I'm sure I won't be the last person to tell you this!

Well, I think that you were an amazing Zack. And I'm not just saying that because I cast you; obviously, I wouldn't have cast you if I didn't think you were going to be amazing. AND YOU WERE, OHMYGOODNESS. x3

I'm glad the production ran so smoothly. It's so much easier with only two people. ^^;;

Aw, this was so cute! You both did a very nice job. :D There were a few spots where the lips flaps seemed a little off, but that's about the only real critique I can come up with. *wants to do a Crisis Core dub now*

Data Drain was superb as Zack. All the emotions were there and you were really into character. Great job!

Kairi - Your voice was pretty close to Maaya Sakamoto and your performance was also superbly well done. I would suggest just a little more energy in some lines since Aerith is suppose to appear "pretty perky". ^^ Awesome work!

The dialogue seem a lil off-synched at some points of the video. Other than that, it's perfect.

Data Drain - I love your voice! I told you that before ;) I think you voiced Zack amazingly and you had that zacky-personality in your voice. Well done!

Kairi - I really like your Aerith. Although i would have prefered it a tiny bit higher but i really like it. Good emotions too :3

Mixing - I haven't got much to say about the mixing because there was bearly anything to mix except for the voices. I think it needed some sound effects too (when they walk etc.)

Other than that Good Job!~

By the way Kairi. You are really good at doing accents! Your auditions for Sophie in Howl's Moving Castle sounded like fluent British XD And now your speaking with a fluent American accent - You're really good <3

You have a great voice for mature girls, you can pull off accents perfectly. Your voice fitted Aerith really good and i absolutely love your emotions! <3

DD i hate you as well because:
I TOLD YOU THAT YOUR ARE AMAZING ALREADY!!! and you keep telling yourself that you're not good D: You did zack pretty good and i think that you have a very unique voice here in the VAA. Though i would have preferred zack to be a tiny weeny bit deeper. Overall you did a great job with the emotions!

Mixing: there's not much to say really ^^; as Jrocker said, it would have been nice if more sfx were added xP

THAT WAS INCREDIBLE AND ADORABLE AND I WAS SQUEALING LIKE A LITTLE GIRL.

I think I scared my mom xD.

Anyway, now that I'm over myself...

Data Drain: Awesome Zack voice. My gosh. When you said the line about flowers attracting people with money in their wallets, it sounded a tad bit echoey to me (not sure if that was intentional or not), but your over all voice was stellar.

Kairi: Ah, my adorable little Aerith-child! Your voice was great for her, though some of the lines seemed a little louder than others (particularly, the line about flowers attracting people with money in their wallets seemed much quieter than your other lines). But, as with Data Drain, I think you've got the voice down.

Mixing: There were a few parts where it seemed out of synch (not like I'm one to talk -sideways glance at her Lucky Star dub-). It wasn't so much the mouth movements even, it was more the expressions. Like, in some lines where the emotion in the voice changed through the course of the line, the facial expression would change at a different time.

...did that make any sense at all? xD.

Over all, however, it was fantabulicious. Kudos on your first dub!

I know this clip well, it was the first thing I ever auditioned for on the VAA back in December 8D Anyway--

Kairi // I love your voice for Aerith-- totally cute & innocent-sounding with just enough maturity. You could've had a little more emotion on "You scared me" (since a guy just fell through the roof), but great job overall!

DataDrain // I liked your interpretation of Zack; it was youthful sounding but still fit the character well. A couple of lines could've been flirtier or more bashful (I guess? I don't know the character that well, but it would fit the scene), like when he asks her out on a date.

Hey, thanks a lot for your kind words and critique! I really think I could've done a better job with Zack, but maybe that's just my inner pessimist. I'll be a lot better for the next one (as soon as I get a free minute to record, sorry it's taking so long, Kairi. D=)!
