[SHP] Night Wizard - "Two Akari?!"

omg. The clip is finally done after almost four months of recasting and waiting for lines. Its like the death clip or something... Sorry for the delay Anyway, watch and review because this needs absolute love since its amazing!

Anyway, there is a whole story behind how this clip got started. Basically during a Skype conversation between Scarlotte and I over the topic of type casting and how Haushinka has a thing for casting Scarlotte as a character Mikuru's VA voices and such. At the time I was watching the first episode of Night Wizard which Scarlotte was going to watch later and I kept on saying that someone would cast Scarlotte as the main character because she had similar Mikuru qualities and was probably voiced by Mikuru's VA (which I was incorrect about -- Bell Zepher is actually voiced by Mikuru's VA...) and that I would be cast as Akari since she's monotoned and has red hair. Ends up I'm a psychic because both Scarlotte and I were casted as those exact characters in another Night Wizard fandub... So yeah, Skype conversations create fandubs.

Oh my gosh! Yay! I'm so happy to see this out!

Shika Megumi~ Awesome job, I loved your emotion and you fit the character really well. I could see your voice for her being a bit lower, older sounding, but you did fit her really well anyways. ^-^

Shift~ I really liked your emotion in this. Your voice was less deep than the original but I must admit it fits the character's age much better. I found the orginal voice a bit deep so I really liked your take on the character.

Erica~ I love your voice for her, it really fits her. I also really enjoyed your acting as well. ^-^ I'm happy to have seen you play her.

Lightofhope18~ I think your voice could've been a bit lower and/or monotoned but not by much. I definately enjoyed watching you play her though. Not the typical voice you do and I'm happy to see you step out and experiment. ^-^

Mirielle~ I love the tone you used. I think you could've gone a bit higher for her though, she's quite young for an evil leader. Other than that I really enjoyed your acting and I hope to see more of you around. ^-^

SiriusFan17~ Why are you so serious? XD Don't kill me, please. >.< I liked what I heard, you had her by the book nature down and her soft tone. Good job!

Mixing~ The only thing that really stood out for me was the echo where all the diamonds are. It was just a bit too deep, and it was off and on. It kind of overshadowed the voices sometimes, or it just made the moment feel unnatural. If it was a bit less it could've worked and not of sounded so choppy when changing the line to not have the echo. But the echo used in Bell's place was very nice and I thought it worked with the mood. Other than that I though it was really well done. ^-^ Good job!

There is no OST out for Night Wizard that I'm aware of. I spent a while searching for it. I just took it from the clip. If you would like, I can try to do the same for you if you just tell me what episode and parts you need...

Lalamu - wow. you have a pretty voice and laugh. i'm envious. you played this "revealing" (i guess) villainess very well... good death scream -- it reminded me of sailor moon in a way, when the monsters die they always yell something weird...

Renji - nice. i like the raging moments. i wish you had more speaking lines.

Kuhera - wow, erica, you have a pretty voice. i always thought you just voiced little boys... you have a great range and i really liked how you protrayed kureha.

Elis - awww... such a kawaii sounding voice. *steals* you made a really adorabel girl.... LoH, did you do the grasp at the end b/c it sounded like ur high gasps...

Akari - red head monotoned chick -- definetly you, LoH. i think a lower pitch would have sounded better at different parts but she still turned out well....

Bell - i thought that was topleka at first!!! O.O wow, mirielle, has anyone ever told you that you sound dead on? (i bet you two a vocal twins or something...?) really evil and cute sounding...

Lion - pretty! i wish you had more speaking lines...

This clip was so awesome! I think that I must start to watch Night Wizard *__*! ...soon!

Shift - The emotion portrayed for Renji was really well done! The voice you used also sounded great for his character. I don't know if it was the echo or enunciation, but a time or two it was a bit hard to hear what you were saying. =D"

Erica - Ahaha I almost wrote "Kureha" instead of "Erica" 8D;; That said, you voiced her really well! There was one line that sounded a bit unnatural, probably because of the scripting though, ("I wish to beat the hell out of Akari too(?)").

Scarlotte - You sound so utterly adorable as Elis! Your voice suited her character so well! Only a couple of times I felt that the emotion didn't have the same feel as the expression on her face, but everything was still done really well!

lightofhope18 - Those red-haired monotone girls are voiced really well by you O:! I don't have much to say; I really liked your line about the snacks, "I cannot... eat that many".

Mirielle - I haven't heard your higher voices that much, but I really liked it! It sounds so cute and the laughs/giggles are awesome. That last line "Let's continue the fun/hunt for now" ended as though you were going to add something after it, and not like the end of a phrase though. =D"

SiriusFan17 - I wish you had more lines because I really liked what I heard |D. I hope this doesn't seem too weird, but I really liked your sigh. =D"

Self Critique - The voice I used became too high around "That toy you have..." ^^;;. I liked how the laughs turned out, though the second one was a bit short. I think my computer has a bit of a lag, because I thought I had that one part, "I'm going to steal everything - from - you". I think I pronounced her name wrong too... ._.;; The way she said it in Japanese sounded funny in English, but that might have also been pronounciation as well as just the way she talks. When she becomes Fake Akari, I don't think I was supposed to change my voice...|D" The death scream sounded a bit short compared to the longer, "BELL-SAMAAAAA!!!" too. Oh the flaws ;~;

Mixing - This was mixed really well! Sometimes the echoes for when the characters didn't have a close-up made it difficult to hear them, but otherwise I had no problems. :)

Shika Megumi - I do agree with Scarlotte, that your voice could have been slightly lower, but you made it work nicely. I really loved the cutesy tone you gave Lalamu. It made her sound almost a cute but seductive evil woman. The screaming and laughing were great. I personally liked the change in pitch for the Fake Akari -- it worked pretty well, although it might have been better with a monotone.

Shift - This is my first time hearing you and I really liked what I heard. Your portrayal of Renji was very impressive. I think there was some peaking in some of the screams, but you did well overall. I'd like to hear more of you as him.

Erica - Wow, I think this is the first time I've heard you voice someone other than a little boy or a boyish girl. You have a really pretty range and you sounded perfect for Kureha. The only issue I had was that you were slightly louder than Scarlotte in your double line. Other than that, you sounded great!

Scarlotte - So cute. I really dug your voice for her -- it was perfect. Some of your lines, you became too quiet and it was hard to understand what you were saying. I really liked the part between you and LoH -- it sounded very realistic.

lightofhope18 - Monotoned red haired girls.... Haha... That is true -- you do voice those types well. I have to agree with Hatsuko, Akari looks like you and does have your glare. Hehe. I really loved the last few lines of your character. They sounded cute.

Mirielle - At first I mistaked you for topleka, which I guess you've gotten a lot. I absolutely enjoyed your performance -- it was really cute and evil sounding at the same time! The "oh"s line was my favorite!

SiriusFan17 - This is my first time hearing you as well and I loved your voice. It was so serious, sincere, but very pretty sounding. I wish you had more lines as Lion -- she's my favorite character and I loved how you voiced her!

Mixing - Everything has already been said, but I think this is my favorite clip you have done yet, LoH. I request... no, I demand you make another!

At last, here's my review!

Shika Megumi - Very nice. It had a good seductive drawl to it, and very expressive overall.

Myself - Ah, yes, me. My voice might miss the deepness mark a little, but I like it. I just hope I was able to say some words clearly enough. One thing I'm partial to is my rage at the end; it freaks me out how intense I sounded!

Erica - Wow, you showed a lot of force and energy here. Very nice!

Scarlotte - Very good at sounding cute. However, it seemed like much of the time, and this is hard to explain, your nose and the roof of your mouth clenched together a bit, giving some of your vowel sounds, like "stratagy", a "Nng" sound, almost. Besides that, nice work!

lightofhope18 - Same instance here with the clenching thing. Sorry, I have no clue how to better describe it. But you did a good job of making her sound distant and all.

Mirielle - Pretty mysterious. I liked it, but it could have been a little higher for the character, I think. Anyway, nice work!

SiriusFan17 - From what I heard, it was nice and deep-sounding.

Mixing - Nice job overall, but just a couple of issues. The first problem, as has been said, was the echo effect. I think what happened was there was too much of it, so it drowned out some of the voices somewhat. Toning it down would also keep the parts with them talking in close-ups from being too sharply different. The other was that some lines seemed to have their effect cut off abrubtly, such as when Bell starts talking. But I gotta give props on the music; it's amazing you got it all from the clip without any issues with the original dialogue! If there were any added sound affects, they were done well too.

All in all, I'm happy. Great work, everyone!

Oh, and so you know, Galbadia Hotel does have one soundtrack called "Night Wizard! -Warlock War- The Peace Plan to Save the World Original Soundtrack". I don't know if it's from the show, but you can look it up.
