Gadgets: Viable accessories or not?

Is your phone/mobile device/whatever a plain, regular colored off the shelf device, or does it need to match your clothing style?

What I'd like to know is what kind of cellphone you guys got and how much you think it matches your overall wardrobe 8D

I...have no clue whether it matches my overall style or anything, though. It's...colorful, like most of my wardrobe, I guess. It spends most of its time in my pocket or bag, though, so I don't really care whether it goes with my style or not. xD

I got it because I liked the way it looked (it's my first cell phone) and the free one was really ugly. I got it in black because the only other colors were silver (which I thought would show wear really easy because of how light it is) and a frosty pink which I didn't care for. Also, the black looked professional and would match anything.

I later destroyed its professionalness by adding 2 phone charms of a kiten with a fuzzy ball and a couple of cherries with the stem and a single leaf. =^.^=

My Mobile is a dark purple-y colour! I think purple goes awsome with anything :3!

I don't have a cellphone. XD;;
But I definitely think my iPod nano is a viable accessory. It's cute and sleek-looking, and the white color is neutral so it goes with everything.
If I ever do give in to the pressure of society and buy a cellphone, I'll try to get one that matches my style.
I actually think it's very important to have gadgets that you woudn't look weird wearing or carrying around.

My phone is one of those crappy Kyocera models with Virgin Mobile. That's totally not matching anything, although to spice it up I added a kitty phone charm. :)

I have the pink Vodafone 703SHf. Now, pink isn't really a colour that matches my fashion sense, but I like phones that stand out rather than blend in with my outfit, which is why I got pink instead of the black or the white ones that were also available. I'm someone who likes to get a new phone every year (since I was 12 :X I was [am?] an extremely spoiled child), but I got this one about 2.5 years ago when I was in Tokyo and I don't think I'm going to be buying a new one anytime soon, I love my current phone :X

For me, generally what I look for in phones is not so much the outer appearance (although.. I'm still picky in that aspect :/), but the functions it has... especially how many mega pixels the camera is. Seriously, you have no idea how insanely handy having a decent phone camera is, you can snap a picture of anything. I hear Sharp is also the best brand for phones in terms of camera capability.

And... pink is also my third favourite colour. Need I say more?

I love my phone to death...I have a Sidekick ID. I can change the colors to match my outfit. Right now it's red and pink. it matches my braces haha. i wear a lot of red and pink so it matches~ i wanna get black though cuz one of my favorite outfits is black and pink...yeah..i'm odd. haha

This one is mine. :] I bought it off Ebay, since this version is only sold in Canada. rofl. I almost got a hello kitty phone... I can switch from dark to girly so fast though. If I could, I would have like 40 different phones! Their just way too cute. <3

Well, I just got an LG KF510: in red, of course (http://hk.lge.com/prodmodeldetail.do?actType=search&page=1&modelCategoryId=0103&categoryId=0103&parentId=01&modelCodeDisplay=KF510Red&model=Select+a+model), mostly because it was my favourite color combination. It doesn't match everything I wear, by any means, but it's a flashy little gadget on its own. If I really wanted it to match everything I wanted, I would've gotten a phone that has an established range of face plates that I could change, right?
